- Hi everyone! Today's video is all about my favorite Starbucks drink in the world: the iced white mocha! During the quarantine, I was able to recreate it so it tastes identical to Starbucks. Our district decided to do online only this fall, so having my own Starbucks in my kitchen will definitely help.:)

I worked at Starbucks and I’ve seen a lot of recreations and yours is the best so far. A lot of people try to recreate it that I’ve seen but yours is by far the most accurate.

@@itslexielea Do you know how long the syrups last? Like do I go by the expiration date on the bottle? Or is it after I open it? I heard you can only keep it for two weeks after opening. There’s no way I’ll finish them that fast. 😭

For everyone looking for the syrup.. Try Sweetened Condensed Milk instead! ❤ It tastes just like the white sauce! Cheaper too!

i just made white chocolate sauce using one cup white chocolate chips, 1/2 cap half and half and 2 teaspoons butter. I normally half the recipie tho
That esspresso machine and white chocolate syrup sound expensive but the same amount of money only gets you about 35 cups of coffee at starbucks. Great way to save money in the long run and if you use fresh roasted beans probably will taste better than starbucks too haha

Honestly, my Breville Barista Express has done me wonders, I get local beans which taste AMAZING and overall, are much more cost-effective than mums Nespresso machine, and considerably more so than getting a $4-7 coffee from a local coffee shop

Tip - to save you money when you order your particular drink at Starbucks, get your quad iced white mocha as a grande in a venti cup with extra ice since you don’t like a lot of half and half anyway. That way you don’t pay for a venti when your only wanting a grande amount of half and half! - just a little wisdom from a Starbucks employee :). Love your videos!

Instead of using a spoon, when you pour the first shots of espresso over the white mocha sauce swirl it for a couple seconds so that by the time the next shots are done, everything is swirled in! Coming from a starbucks barista ❤️

Great tutorial! If you want to take it to a different level, buy freshly roasted beans from a local roaster and get yourself a grinder. Grind your beans and then make your espresso, it'll be incredible!

Hey after all these months someone has probably already posted this but a regular iced white mocha comes with 2% if you want a full drink without it being overly rich by the half and half your using. A normal latte we always fill to the third Black line. Your not a barista but you did a really good job. Make sure you use 6 pumps of your white mocha syrup to get that accurate Starbucks taste.
Thank you so much! The 2% is a bit too light for me, so I get half and half! But if it's too much, I definitely agree with you in that it gets too rich. Some comments recommended whole milk, so I'm going to try that. :)

Do you get it with Breve at Starbucks or just with milk. I use soy milk in mine just cause I prefer it. I've been with the bucks almost 5 years now have any questions just let me know.

I worked at Starbucks for about 5.5 years and that is the exact white chocolate that we receive at the stores! The only think I would recommend is to find actual espresso beans as opposed to espresso roast/blend beans. The first is intended to make shots of espresso but the latter is just an extremely dark roast meant for brewing in a regular drip coffee machine. I didn't know you could buy that syrup on Amazon so I will definitely be doing that :)

Hi, if you buy the espresso beans how would you recommend grinding the beans?
@@ns2754 If you're buying from Starbucks or other coffee shops they will grind them for you. Grocery stores often have the ground and whole bean options at the store so look for the ones that are "espresso grind" as opposed to "drip grind"

I switched to drinking iced americanos using white chocolate powder and a splash of cream, versus regular milk, flavors and caramel. Hahaha!

hiya!! i’m a starbucks barista and i loved your recreation of the iced white mocha, you did your research and honestly did better than most people when they start to learn how to make drinks. just wanted to comment that starbucks usually lets us sell our syrups if it has a barcode on the back of the label like the vanilla syrup. i’m not sure if the peppermint one has one but we have it year round so we might be able to sell it. reason why we say no to selling syrups sometimes is most likely if we are low in stock and need it to make drinks, but other than that, we can sell them. we can’t sell our white mocha sauce unfortunately because the label for the white mocha is not for retail sale, but the one you got is very very similar to ours. only difference is our white mocha looks a bit lighter in color than the brand you got.

You can get this machine at Target for around 120- from what i saw- I bought a Breville espresso maker- pricey- but i did think about this one. I wanted the grind too- this one doesn't have that. Love this recipe- Thanks

I use the starbucks Kenya coffee beans in my coffee. I ground them in my food processor and store it in a coffee tin whitch is air thight. I love this recipe. I try this the next time i make coffee. Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a nice day. 👋🏾

also if your struggling to find a good coffee roast, go to a local (non chain) cafe and ask them for a bag of beans ground and roasted to your preference.

You can buy the sauce from starbucks if you call ahead
i was a brista at Starbucks and all their sauces expire fast. but i used to take the skinny mocha sauce and the regular mocha sauce and make them at home since they come as powders...and the regular mocha actually last a long time, those dates are the datse Starbucks uses as well when they date their bottles. i used the mocha at home for about 2 months and it was ok. but that huge white mocha bottle would last me a very long time lol
Yess! I linked it in my bio, I got it from Amazon! Sometimes it'll be "unavailable" but it gets restocked pretty often! I usually keep checking back in a week or two and it comes back. :)
If I were to buy the syrup is the expiration date the one on the bottle? I heard you can only use them for 14 days after you open it. I don’t want to buy it if it’ll expire in two weeks.

Hello the purrfect pencil. I found a starbucks coffee dupe in my own country at my local grocery store omg its amazing. The coffee beans cost 4,99 for a 400 gram bag. The coffee beans are from Tanzania and they taste just like the Kenya coffee beans from starbucks. I love you,re video

I do have Keurig coffee maker but wanted to try different maker so few months ago I purchase the Nespresso Vertuo Plus and I loved it ,,,although I hardly ever go out and get a cup of coffee ( it's kind of pricey for one cup of coffee ) ,only drew back is expensive pods other than that I really likin it
Ingredients:
1. Starbucks brand espresso roast
2. Fontana white chocolate flavoured sauce
3. half and half milk creamer
4. (optional) whip cream

It’s good that you make your own Starbucks Coffee at Home to save yourself some money that’s what I do at my House Like to make different drinks to save some more extra money because my parents have to work every day of the week and they are only off with me on the weekends to actually go run some errand s to get out of the House for fun activities sometimes.

I get the exact same drink but grande. Don’t order it as a “white mocha”. Get a quad espresso over ice, add extra breve and 4 pumps of white mocha sauce. It’s the saaame ingredients but way cheaper. It’s $3.75 instead of $7.80 which is what I used to pay. 👀

Ex barista here.. pretty sure white chocolate is just condensed milk… so I don’t think you should have to buy that jug of white chocolate.. maybe it’s not exact but it comes VERY close..
I say this as someone who did work at sbux for many years.. also a moka pot will make very similar espresso for cheaper for anyone looking for a not so expensive machine. The way you used the lines to measure was very similar to what the baristas do. Good job.

Lol both machine are for two types of coffee. If you want to make both with one machine you’re better off buying a nespresso vertuoline. You can make one shot to 2 shots espresso to 5oz all the way to 14oz cups of coffee. Capsules are a bit expensive but let me tell you the coffee taste so smoooooth!

I think it'll be fine! :) It might not be as rich or strong as an espresso shot though! But I'm sure it'll still be good with the white mocha sauce. :D
@ person person. THE CAFE BUSTELOS ARE PRECISELY WHAT I USED IN MY KEURIG AND I LOVE IT. I USE 2 when I make my ice caramel macchiato. Then a cup of 2 % cold frothed milk is my ratio

They way I see this is that the keurig makes reg coffee and the Delonghi is for espresso shots
That’s what I noticed when I compared mine. My keurig don’t got the foamy thing but with my espresso machine it gets all foamy on top

I,ve tryed so many coffee beans to copy starbucks it drove me crazy. I live in the netherlands and i don,t have starbucks in my area. I found Kenya coffee beans from starbucks coffee and i was hooked till they dind sell those beans anymore. I was so sad and seartched every were online to find it. It was no were to be found. My dat sayed you,ll find it. Come lets get some grocery,s so i went whit my parents. And there it was 3 diffrent coffee beans from 3 diffrent country.
Tanzania coffee beans from africa,Colombia coffee beans and Ethiopia. I picked the one whit the elephant on it and wen i got home i brewed it in my ninja coffee machine. I tasted it and.....it tasted just like the Kenya coffee beans from starbucks OMG i have found my dupe starbucks coffee beans. I am so happy. I bought 20 bags of the coffee beans so i can drink it all year around. I love you,re video. I am gonna make tyou,re iced white mocha tonight. 👍🏾🖐🏾😁

Hi! All I did was get a pothos cutting and place it in a grande starbucks cup! I had a leftover coffee sleeve so that fit perfectly on the outside haha! The plant is growing really fast even without any soil. :o Hope this helps!

Hi. Great video! Just wanted to let you know that the date on Starbucks syrups are just a “Best By” date and not an expiration date :)

@@tonigrey448 Honestly, if it passes the taste/smell test, it's fine. There are so many preservatives in these syrups and keeping them in a cool/dark place helps.
You can actually go into a Starbucks and buy a syrup bottle from them ! :)

the grind of the coffee has to be finer so that the flow is slower! the flow is too fast now and looks watery. stick to your dark roast tho :)

Whole milk, half and half, whipping cream and condensed milk is the cream base that we looking for. Learn this from a chef.
