This series has the biggest cliffhanger of all time. It could have went on for at least 3 or 4 more seasons without a problem. I don't know what the targeted crowd was back in 2000 but someone made a mistake by canceling....

A someone who grew up in the 70's, despite one season, I think it is one of the top 10 tv series of all time. Brilliantly written and even better acted. Something from every episode resonated in some way. Was crushed and shocked when it was cancelled. Bought the only season on DVD and to this day still mad it was cancelled. Even more surprised another network didn't pick it up.

3:07 before watching this show, I would have seen this picture and seen Marshall Erikson, Velma Dinkly, Harry Osborne, and one of the cops from Superbad. I just spent the last two weeks watching this show whenever I got the chance, and now I see in this picture 4 immensely talented people just at the beginning of their respective successful careers. And, in each of their characters, personalities that remind me of myself and my friends. This show has instilled in me something that I will carry with me as I finish Highschool and move on to whatever comes after that.
And God! I wish there was more of it!

I've always wanted them to renew the show but fast forward to when they have kids and the show basically being about how they parent their children. I say Daniel should have a girl and either she's exactly how he use to be or is like Linsey and slowly turning from a good kid to a bad kid.

Well damm I can relate to this show....I remember when it came out I was drawn to it....then years later found out it was set in Detroit Mi 1980....lol I grew up in Hazel Park Mi and in 1980 I was starting my 10 grade year....just want to say this was exactly how it was in Detroit Mi 1980 down to the Army coat Linsay wore....love this show👍🤟💯

If it weren’t for Netflix I never would have known this existed. Very similar to Wonder Years, but more edgy. Kevin and Sam are pretty much identical. Was shocked to find out they only had 1 season. I was expecting at least 6 with this insane cast.

They should reboot Freaks and Geeks with a new cast set in 1984 ( after the original cast has already graduated). It could be a series like American Horror Story where each season is a new cast/ story line. Of coarse it would have to be done by the original behind the scenes people that created the original. That is the only way you could reboot this show. Or even remake it set later and some of the original cast could be in it as older characters; imagine Neal or Bill as a teacher

It sounds like they just went the stereotypical route for kids in high school in a small town with the odds stacked against them as far as upbringing and social influence. Just because you're a bank teller doesn't mean you can't lead a happy life.
