First video I've watched from your channel, and subscribed. Great original content. Includes your own research and opinions based on own experience. Hope to watch more from your channel.

Another good video. I agree with your comments on 120 fps shooting. The output looks great.

I sell vertical shorts for my clients with the 30x4 feature so they can add music on Reels. Fine Setting camera as for RAW as video brings me almost same HQ SloMo as photos. And now with Multiple exposures at high FPS Nikon Z gives another feature to elevate one´s job and creativivity. 75% of my clients uses cellphones to watch content... Thanks for your time !

Trying to video a mechanical production line problem which is hard to catch with the naked eye and hoping my Z6II can help me with it although Iv'e never yet shot video. My intent is to shoot and then playback in slow motion to catch the trouble spot. Do you think this is a plan and do you have solid advice on settings for both shooting and playback. Thanks in advance, Allan H.

You would be able to see with a little more detail (in my experience) less motion blur of you are obviously recording at 120p if you use a stutter speed of higher then 1/240 for example something like 1/500. Try to bring lights and have good light, if you don’t want to go through the hustle of slowing down afterwards you can use the setting where the camera automatically plays the video in slow motion for you. Even that 120p is a good setting for slow motion it could not be enough if the mechanical part is moving way fast but better then the naked eye. If the part is too fast I would go for photos and use the highest shutter speed and try to get as many pictures to see what’s going on.

Is it full frame or does it automatically crop into DX?

You can crop to DX mode but this camera can shoot every frame rate available without cropping.

So how do you set your video to shoot in 120fps? Thanks!

You can change your video settings in camera like fps, just select the option that says 120p and in your editing program just select playback at 24 or 30fps depending on your timeline settings. You also have the option to have your video already in slow motion by selecting the X4 slow in camera.
