Best allround lure you found was green chart rattle trap@ 7:25. Those are really good for pike and walleye in murky water. The bright colour and sound is a combo killer
love this series, everytime i fish the ponds near my house i scan the banks for lost lures. recently snipped off all the old rusty hooks from the collection ive found over the past year or so. got a little over 200 bucks worth of lures. just need to buy some trebles.
There's a public park with a bunch of ponds about 30 mins from my house. One day in the spring during a drought me and my buddy must have found 50+ lures. It's a snaggy place with lots of trees and stumps. It payed off big when we were little and didnt have much money for tackle!
You should make a little retrieval stick to help get lures easier. I took a nice sized, sturdy walking stick, put a screw-in wall hook on the end, and balled up a bunch of old crappy line on that hook. It doubles as both a walking stick, as well as makes it really easy to grab lures out of the water if the water is too cold to reach in.
Just want to suggest something. Get you a cane pole, attach a magnet on one side of the tip, and a hook (made from like a coat hanger wire) on the other side. Makes getting those from hard places a bit easier.
Great vid. Alot of nice lures. My first whopper plopper was a black one that i found floating on the edge of the water in the winter. Front hook was broken. Thanks for posting Brendan. I really enjoy your vids. Thanks again
Every year when it comes pond hockey time I do a lap around and the lake and use my stick to grab lures caught up in trees, gives me new toys for springtime
Man I wished I had a place like that around were I live were I could go and find so many cool lures like you do. Every year you do this at least two or three times a year and you always find at least 100 dollars or more of fishing stuff. I mean that's alot of awesome stuff you'll find I mean I'm sure you could make a new tackle boxs every year with all the lures you find lol. Thanks and appreciate all that you do all of your time, hardwork and dedication you put into making your videos and channel as awesome as you do keep up the awesome job. Till next's time GodBless and Tight Lines and Happy Holidays.
Good job fella, saves nature getting caught up in all those trebles. I hope you collect any abandoned nylon/briad also, stick it in an old baked bean tin that's clean and just burn it up , easiest way to get rid of narly old weathered nylon/braid etc
Good morning Brendan happy Thursday I love your fishing 🎣 channel you are amazing thank you much for always making me laugh and for all the amazing tips fishing 🎣 power 💪 my friend
I too collect lures. I bet I have collected $2000 retail worth of lures over the years. I'm still refurbishing my latest batch. I got 150 lbs of lead and around 50 lures in one trip. Happy hunting.
Hilarious that you found a lure by hearing and not sight. 😂 This is similar to metal detecting where you never know what you are going to find. Not that you have time to answer but will ask anyways... How often do you actually get out to go fishing? I assume you don't always record your outings. Anyways... Always look forward to this time of year for these videos. 👍
Nothing like finding lures. Entertaining video. You may want to assess the risk/reward ratio prior to climbing a tree for a 12$ lure😁. Something about lures that make fishermen throw caution to the wind. Thanks for the video.👍
The storm bait you heard that was in the mat was only made 2002-2004 my favorite storm lures from storm made in Estonia the first two years after rapala bought storm
I always forget your from Ohio Brendan until I see random things like that bag from Fin, we should do a meet up one of these days my local location would be the Canton Store.
Sometimes disc golfing you will find a lost "frisbee" (disc) without a name on it out in the bushes on the course - not only do you get to keep $12-$20 worth of gear, but you eliminate a big piece of plastic litter from the environment! Same here, huge pile of trash/litter/pollution you rescued!
Some of those discontinued Risto Raps sell for a pretty penny on eBay. Also, there's the legendary "pre-Rapala" Wiggle Wart. Perhaps you've got one........probably not. I'd check though! You might have found a lot MORE than $140!
Hi I just stumbled on these vids and people watching these might be interested in what I do. I have kind of a business going. I have 9 big treble hooks I made out of U bolts and I sharpen them, I have them attached to a piece of angle and I have this attached to a 2000lb rope winch on my boat. I drag the river while I'm fishing and I catch anchors, fishing rods, fish scoops, massive snag nests made of pickerel rigs full of sinkers and all kinds of lures and also caught an electric trolling motor. I have an ad on kijiji, I've sold hundreds of pounds of sinks. Cleaning up the river as I am able. Recycling things that where lost so I can really relate to these videos.
Me and my buddies snorkel by the pier on the gulf of Mexico and do a challenge few times a year called find your own fishing lures and hooks fishing challenge only baits and lures you can use is what ever you find in the water and we have caught all kinds of mackerel Spanish king and mahi mahi
Imagine walking out on your back deck and seeing a fully grown man hanging from a tree I love this series so much

I wonder if anyone else would enjoy watching a lost fishing lure repair video or a lost fishing lure challenge? I know I would.
yeah I would enjoy that, seeing work on cleaning and repairing some lures and going out using them again
Bro who else loves this series???
I do really enjoy these videos every year. Please, keep the tradition going!
Best allround lure you found was green chart rattle trap@ 7:25. Those are really good for pike and walleye in murky water. The bright colour and sound is a combo killer

Really nice tradition! Enjoy your finds and when you use them please mention that they were a free find.👍👍

wow how is it that so many people lose so many lures? cool finds though. I grew up in Wisconsin and loved finding lures along the shore...so fun.
I've lost my share of lures from shore but what really sucks is losing a brand new lure on the first or second cast.
Yes I love this series!
Hula poppers are banging I absolutely love them 🥷🏾🗡♟
Imagine 200 years in the future a lake somewhere has dried up and among the rock are fossilized fishing lures
Always my favorite video ever year! Merry Christmas!
0:10 what the dog doin?
6:08 so many snap swivels on that bait!
The yearly wait is here
Great vid. Alot of nice lures. My first whopper plopper was a black one that i found floating on the edge of the water in the winter. Front hook was broken. Thanks for posting Brendan. I really enjoy your vids. Thanks again

It’s my favorite spinner
Good morning Brendan happy Thursday I love your fishing 🎣 channel you are amazing thank you much for always making me laugh and for all the amazing tips fishing 🎣 power 💪 my friend
If you ever see a grown ass man in a tree shaking a branch to get a lure, just know he would whoop your ass in a fishing competition 😂
I love seeing your hunting fishing luers videos 👍💖

Brendan you should make a food chain fishing challenge for any fish of your liking
I’m giving you a follow just for climbing in the tree !!
Love watching these videos. No competition with the little brother this time around?
That was awesome tree climbing 😀 👏
In the spring or summer you should make a video only using the lures you’ve found and trying to catch a fish on every single one of them
Imagine losing one of your lures at this place and this dude just finding it lmao I’m dead
Anyone else shocked by his climbing skills

awesome! wish I could be there too
Hey Brendan, you should try to make a motivational/inspirational video. I think you have the creativeness to do it properly in a unique manner.
Any resource to find a lake in my area that does this (fort worth TX)?
Considering that the water doesn't really freeze down here in Texas, it's unlikely.
I just feel bad for that person that got mad at that reel😢
What’s your most favorite bait you’ve found?
How much loues are there wow!
los ganchos se limpia con el vinagre para eliminar el oxido, pero debe meter dentro el frasco y lo dejan adentro los ganchos.
My dad, in one day, lost 8 of my new lures I had previously bought that morning. We still had a good day tho lmao
It's one of the best 👌
You and 1Rod need to do a collaboration. 👍
Me living 20 minutes from this lake 😏
Me living 2000 miles away in Los Angeles, oh well I still like his videos.

At 3:53 if the branch would have broke😂
Bro that’s me always going all out to get lures 😂
A lot of angry emotions in those lures from all the past fishermen haha
How the heck are you finding all these?
Me and my buddies snorkel by the pier on the gulf of Mexico and do a challenge few times a year called find your own fishing lures and hooks fishing challenge only baits and lures you can use is what ever you find in the water and we have caught all kinds of mackerel Spanish king and mahi mahi
There was a second bay in the cat tails
Took all the old crappy lures from his tackle box and made himself an Easter egg hunt
i actually found a frog in perfect condition at a lake, thing was missing its eye though but it was still good
Only this man would climb a tree to grab a Whopper Plopper!
Yeah I’m sure those trees by the banks have ornaments on them because of me smh. Lol
I have that exact whopper plopper
"Literally 99% wont see this but, Who ever sees this have a good day and stay safe" ❤
I have a little crank bait and it survived after 2 years of sitting in my grandparents garage
What lake is that
