Brandon, I guess we all have our favorite Lewers I’m 72. I mean fission ever since I was 78 years old one of my favorite lowers is a little short rebel with a short deal about an inch and a half long caught more bass over that under all conditions, and my next favorite lure is the jitterbug and the best plastic worm I have ever used is the 4 inch black grape zoom worm yet might not catch the biggest bass what is surely will catch the most for me there’s nothing like a good day of fishing. Thanks for your videos.!!!!!😊

Great video!! I love the old school lures, they still and will always get the job done!!! The best part about using them today is when fishing them in highly pressured/public fishing ponds/lakes, most people don't use them anymore so even though they have been around forever, fish aren't used to seeing them as much as they see modern baits so I have found that they will get bit in highly pressured areas. I would add the inline spinner/rooster tail to this list, it never fails.

Brendon,I'm speaking on behalf of your carp catch and cook. If you catch another one comparable to the size of the one you cooked, try marinating it with your favorite seasonings. Then cook it on your grill with high heat as you would grill salmon or tuna. The seasonings and the smoke from the grill nutruelizes the eathy taste.Make your own dipping sauce and enjoy.
