about time I looked this up. I swapped out my harddrive and memory into her empty thinkpad and finally pressed that button really firmly, then watched the mouse move about...Than I googled on youtube and found your video. Thank you to people who put this shit out there for us.
have you upgraded to windows 10? i lost functionality of the trackpad buttons after my system upgraded. The updated drivers don't help either. If you uninstall the trackpad driver, then the buttons come back, but the trackpad is glitchy and the two finger scrolling functionality is gone... this sucks..
Middle click, equivalent to clicking the scroll wheel on a regular mouse. Can be used for things like clicking links to open them in a new tab and can be configured do that when held, the trackpoint will act as a scroll wheel.

This was back when I wasn't doing RUclips regularly and instead just used it as a bit of a dumping ground, I never intended for it to get significant traffic.
