Love Stryper I went to a lot of their shows in the 80s and early 90s Praise God they’re still around with their great message Love Robert Sweet Camille Macias✝️😷💕
Robert Sweet is one of the most overlooked and underrated drummers EVER! He is such a great musician, easily better than most drummers out there, especially during the "hair band" days.
I concur I think he was better than Tommy Lee and just as good as Lars Ulrich or Gars Samuelson. and better than Tico Torres an Neal Peart and Phil Collins
@@alangary9893 Lol! Whatever metrics you are using need a major overhaul. Tommy Lee maybe, that is a fair argument. Better than Neil? List the ways he is better than Neil? Is Bob more technically proficient? Are his compositions more technical? Does Bob play in the pocket better? Album sales? Body of work? Please respond. I have to know specifically what Bob does better than the greatest drummer of our time. Also, what is up with Tico being mentioned? Is he the only other drummer's name that you know?
Thoughts From Stryper Devotional - *You say youve some troubles* *Yeah so many downs* *You need a light to lift you off the ground* *And if your life feels senseless* *Just accept the Lord* *And hell make you see things * *You never seen before* *An everlasting life abounding,oh yes* *Yes,he will and Hes always giving more* *And his light will never stop shining* *Its for you,yes it is* Deuteronomy 31;6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God will bless you;he will never leave you or forsake you." cross reference Deuteronomy 7;18 "you shall notbe afraid of them;you shall well remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all of Egypt" When you fell alone and out numbered and out gunned and it seems your not getting support from other Christians --- remember what God did to Pharaoh and the Egyptians !!!!
A friend played Stryper for me in the day...& never lost that Groove..Amazing Artist & Early Metal of the time...Had to Be Their...God Bless & Thanx for Posting.....
You guys rock! Gods gift to music!!!! One of my fav bands to listen to:) 2 bad they didn't have hd invented when their videos came out. 360 p and 240 are soo blurry. Itd be cool if you could digitally remaster this. This is awesome!:)
Coolest Band ever! i mean to look like that and Sing about Christ, So Awesome! Back then i was always waitin for a Band to sing about somethin Positive! I was tired of all the negative Devil Music!!
It was hard for me to believe there are NO videos of you playing guitar or drums on your channel. Post some up dude! I want to hear you rock out to some Stryper!
BerlinFan82 In my opinion, that's what I found (kinda') ironic about Stryper tours-they promoted "goodness/optimism" whereas the band(s) that opened for them promoted "the things that Stryper opposed."
Saw them in Akon, Ohio in 1986 on the to hell with the devil tour, hurricane opened. Saw them inCleveland, Ohio in 1988 on the in god we trust tour, hurricane opened that show. Seen them four other times over the years. They always put on a great show.
A lotta people overlook there 1st album I think it catches the raw energy and emotions of the members of stryper betterctfan any of the other albums. Some of the albums people were raving about I like don't get me wrong but the was just something missing like the heart and soul of there 1st 2 albums yellow and black and soldiers . I think a little on to hell with the devil was still there though.
Man, it’s been a long time! Very cool video... 2 Corinthians 5:19 that God was reconciling the WORLD to Himself in Christ, NOT counting men’s sins against them.
What a great band I remember the media saying they are a gimmick in the 80s the last thing you would use as a gimmick is Christianity lol they had to be such a better great band to get a 80s metal head to listen to anything about God I know I remember
Anybody know where to find the original recordings of this EP? The re-issue mix is garbage just like Mötley's "Too Fast For Love". The Leathür Recörds version sounds WAY better than the re-mix. Any help would be much appreciated. P.S. Cool video. Never knew they made one for this record.
All the hallmarks of a typical Stryper official video: minimal Tim Gaines? Check; Michael Sweet solo? Check? No filming of Oz solo parts even little fills? Check. I am a huge Stryper fan but they have made it a point to diminish Oz’s role as lead guitar by the singles they choose and Tim might as well have never been in the band.
This song has Blessed My Life. Thank You Lord for Stryper.

How have I never heard of this band?!?! They are phenomenal and I love that they are a Christian rock and roll group! ❤️💪🙏
Stryper very underrated imho. They still prove from the 80s till now they never lostba step
Robert Sweet is one of the most overlooked and underrated drummers EVER! He is such a great musician, easily better than most drummers out there, especially during the "hair band" days.
I TOTALLY agree,.He has SO MANY signature beats,.Most overlooked drummer I can ever think of
I concur I think he was better than Tommy Lee and just as good as Lars Ulrich or Gars Samuelson. and better than Tico Torres an Neal Peart and Phil Collins

THE offical timekeeper
Was at this show, Autograph opened for Stryper. This was at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Stryper put on a great show this evening.
First song I ever heard from them, watching this video one night. Hooked ever since. One of their best songs, IMO.
Such a great band. Im glad they had a long career. They deserved every bit up success they had.
This video and the Soldiers Under Command video were my introduction to Stryper when I was a little kid.
I was at this show Santa Monica Civic, epic concert
Same here! Great times back then! And they are still kickin!!!

I am lucky enough to own one of Tim Gains Basses.. great band..
Saw them again at Magic Mountain it was rainy but worth the wait. I went to every Stryper show I could when they were a club band in L.A.
First Stryper song I ever heard - BLEW ME AWAY
Me too
I remember the first time this was on Real Videos

Great song - possibly Stryper's best ever. Awesome drumming too! Totally adrenalising!
forever stryper
Thank God o for this mercy!!! Rock on stryper!!!!!!!!!!!
I was lucky enough to be right there in the front. They did this song twice to get the final take. Good times
Such a fun song to play on a guitar.
Coolest Band ever! i mean to look like that and Sing about Christ, So Awesome! Back then i was always waitin for a Band to sing about somethin Positive! I was tired of all the negative Devil Music!!
It's hard to believe that this is the first song I learned to play on the drums. My first song on guitar was THWTD.
It was hard for me to believe there are NO videos of you playing guitar or drums on your channel. Post some up dude! I want to hear you rock out to some Stryper!
Stryper is the best!
One of the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know what to do!!🤘🤘🤘
Thank you stryper for so much that you all do thank you love you guys
they are like a no smoking sign.. no devil
Saw them in concert twice back in the day both amazing shows.
Did Stryper open for someone-or did someone for them?
Saw them with no opening act on Soldiers Under Command Tour then Loudness and Helloween opened the To Hell With The Devil Tour in Cleveland.
BerlinFan82 In my opinion, that's what I found (kinda') ironic about Stryper tours-they promoted "goodness/optimism" whereas the band(s) that opened for them promoted "the things that Stryper opposed."
muito boa essa banda...
Did not even know that this video existed! :-)
STRYPER RULES !!! 🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻
what kind of song is this
Hola soy de Chile super piola pero me gusta mucho esta música ya que mi hermano Alex Meza fue y es fanático de este grupo que es buenisimoooo
Los amo Dios los bendiga
Anyone remember Stryper opening for Ratt at the Pacific Amp in the 80's . I was at that one, also the Greek for the To Hell with the Devil tour.
Saw them in Akon, Ohio in 1986 on the to hell with the devil tour, hurricane opened. Saw them inCleveland, Ohio in 1988 on the in god we trust tour, hurricane opened that show. Seen them four other times over the years. They always put on a great show.
That's cool!................. I never got lucky enough to see them live back in the day. Getting one of their bibles would have been awesome.
I saw them twice in 2016! They still put on a great show!
A lotta people overlook there 1st album I think it catches the raw energy and emotions of the members of stryper betterctfan any of the other albums. Cool video. Never knew they made one for this record.
Discogs?
laundry.
At the beginning of the video it would have been hilarious if they had said "Hello Cleveland!!" and gotten temporarily lost backstage.
MrAlienautopsy I get it!!🤣
3:10
Buen día se que es una banda que canta a Dios mi pregunta es porque al minuto 4:31 sale el 666 detrás del guitarrista???
So, how's everything
ah ha🌡️haha🌈hahaha ahhhh✍️
I focus on me,based on my to do,on a y "given'' dayyy......___
its a crossed out 666 but the dash isnt that visible
Very very awesome video, but why the backgroundlights with devil and 666?
Both devil and 666 are lined out. An example from Ghostbusters. That means they're against that.
"Forgive us Oh Lord for we knew not what we did. Forgive us for almost being Trans dresser Transgressors."😉🤣
striperrrrrrr....................yes...............you are the ones who didth
+MrMonkeyfarmer1 Stryper
No!
Anybody else here from the Narduar Vs Megadeth interview? 😂
Poor Tim he is the other guy in the band who does not get recognition
Why 666 in the background... Very nice song btw!
It's like a Ghostbusters insignia crossed off 666. Means they're against it.

What is this from?
there first album Yellow and Black Attack
Tyler Morin I mean where did the video come from?
it was the very first music video they put out back in 84
I saw 666
CCxc
S (18 - )
vocals too soft for those heavy guitars
Vocals too effeminate over two heavy Jacksons
So what?
