So many other people I've talked to don't care about them (I've even talked to multiple people who were actually wearing Kiss shirts and asked them "what's your favorite Kiss song?" and they all told me they don't actually know any and don't listen to Kiss and were only wearing Kiss shirts because they thought the shirts " looked cool" which really Kiss is more about their image as guys who wear paint like clowns and the spectacle of their shows moreso than their music, which I do actually like but even I'll say it's secondary). (Dressed to Kill, Rock and Roll over, Destroyer, and Alive 1) Although I know of their later masked and unmasked music, none come close IMO to those 4 albums. (alive was a double album which covered tunes from their first album and Hotter than Hell) To ask me if I have a favorite tune, impossible, but would most likely be something from Dressed to Kill. And yes it is true, others would bash them over other bands or artists music, i just consider them purists to their own band they feel that way about. Or the saying - Everybody is a critic.

Ace was lazy as he himself admitted. They made Ace great in KISS. And singing was important for his solo career.
Saw KISS at the Montreal Forum April 21, 1976 and it was the best KISS concert I ever saw. Can’t beat the original four! I was 15 years old and I’m 64 now!

My first concert my Dad took me to see KISS Destroyer tour......I was 9 years old. My dad had no clue what he was taking me to.....neither did I for that matter. I was awestruck....my dad was disgusted.

I see what you are saying, but that's what I always loved about Paul, he always gave 110% when he was performing live, it probably did lead to him losing his tremendous vocal abilities, but he gave his all for the fans. I just wish that when he lost his voice, he would have had the good sense to bow out gracefully, but he waited about 15 years too long.

But being an old man I still get a big smile on my face every time I see the three of them do that pose in the front of the sage. Ace is my favorite. I saw them in 77. There performance was captivating and so mesmerizing!!! I waited 4 hours for the doors to open and ran with my cousins to the front row. Ace threw me his towel after the concert. He was so good!!!!
Men, Ace is not really like a singer, but except that he is the reason I picked up the guitar, he's the reason too why I started improving my vocals. Ace is not like Paul and other singers that can really sing high notes and give some impact and power, Ace's voice is normal but he's voice is Rock & Roll.

This was so FK'N GREAT when KISS came back in 97 I saw them at the Thunder Dome in St.Pete Fla. It was the 70's all over again ++ . .

Ace is my favorite. I saw them in 77. There performance was captivating and so mesmerizing!!! I waited 4 hours for the doors to open and ran with my cousins to the front row. Ace threw me his towel after the concert. He was so good!!!!
Men, Ace is not really like a singer, but except that he is the reason I picked up the guitar, he's the reason too why I started improving my vocals. Ace is not like Paul and other singers that can really sing high notes and give some impact and power, Ace's voice is normal but he's voice is Rock & Roll.
Ace still has a Good Voice unlike a certain star child I can think of
lot of the time average singers sound cooler double-tracked than great singers do.
