I was a 50-plus-year member of the Barbershop Society (or the SPEBSQSA as we used to call it.) The "lifers" find themselves a whole new family and vocation as the wonderful music and camaraderie becomes a major facet of their life. As you could see by this performance, these guys were completely involved. Not only do they love the music but they love one another. I am now 82yo and confined to a wheelchair. I think of the "good old days" nearly everyday. I miss it so much!

There is something to see wherever you look. Did you notice how far into the song they were before Justin Miller directed from the "traditional" spot of front and center? Of course he couldn't direct traditionally with all the movements; there is very little front and center direction needed. But during strategic moments, there he is. Love the youthful innovation of this barbershop chorus, with many unique chord structures!

Some of the best recordings of Westminster on RUclips are the impromptu ones (like the one you already reacted to when they did Lux Aurumque while on tour in Germany). This is another one in that category, where they were singing for another chorus competitor in an informal setting with a lot of hard surfaces to bounce the sound around. Probably one of the most overtone-y recordings of them:
