The A330 is probably the most comfortable plane that I've flown on in the AC fleet, and one of my favourites to fly on (last time was 6 years ago in the old cabin, YUL-LHR).
Love AC’s refurbished A330s. The PY product is one of the best and uses the exact same seat as AC’s domestic J on narrow bodies with leg rests and great pitch. Ideal for those transatlantic flights.
The new interior on AC’s A330s is a huge step up from the old one that was in interiors just a few years ago - the one with IFE systems that took more than 20 seconds to load pages. I’m glad they finally refurbished them. Also, I just noticed you have 66,6k subscribers.
However many years ago, your channel was recommended to me by RUclips, but I did not view any of your trip reports. Your videos began appearing on my feed (again) in February 2023. I decided to watch. The first thing I learned about you was that you were quite the young lad (mature, nevertheless) when you started your channel. And you were courteous and respectful. You still are courteous and respectful. It is my hope you will always remain courteous and respectful. Refrain from allowing all of the FA Jan's jade you. Long story short, I'm a happy subscriber. All the best to you. Thank you.
Love how AC is making the strategic choice to both expand and retrofit their A330 fleet. They provide a host effective solution for Atlantic and seasonal capacity given the retirement of the Rouge 767 fleet. To be fair, Rouge is getting a second look given the rise of competition in Canada. Their newly retrofitted A321's are way better than the product Flair, Lynx and Swoop provide. It will be interesting to see what AC does down the line to replace their older A330 and other Airbus birds. Rouge's A319's are on their last legs so looking forward to future announcements.
A319s will all be retired and replaced with A321Neos starting in 2024 (with lieflat in J able to do transatlantic routes). All AC A330s save one have been refurbished with their latest J and PY products.
Perfect! I'll fly Belo Horizonte, Brazil (CNF) - FLL with Azul on the A339neo and then FLL - YUL with Aircanada. I was looking for a recent flight review of this route. Glad my favorite aviation channel posted it. 🙋🏻♂️
Nice video. Are you a dual US/Canadian citizen? You seem to have a particular affinity for Canada in your videos. I’ve often wondered if you, being a well traveled man, carry the Amex Platinum or Centurion Card. Well, I got my answer today. I am surprised however, for a man who’s family is from Long Island and who has a Manhattan condo and has traveled on private jets, I would of thought you would carry the Centurion Card.
Was wondering what the moving white burr was along the bottom of the window frame going aft (12:46)? Thought it might be the contrail forming. Time spot 12:53 gave me the positive answer. Enjoy your videos. Keep 'em coming.
Nice transition from the pullout on the exit window! Especially that gorgeous sunset, they were cool with you using a mount for the gopro? i'll do it next time I fly :D
The first 2 rows and the port and starboard seats just behind the exit row are Preferred Seats, which according to their website have up to 4” more pitch (presumably 35”, Air Canada doesn’t mention the exact seat pitch for the Preferred Seats unfortunately).
Awesome viewing love love it, I never fly with air Canada before but one day I will, why it take so long to upload this clip? I be going to Fll soon flying from Lhr to dfw then to Fll . Thanks for sharing
How come you drove home from Montreal to New York per Car and how long was your traveling? Very informative video though. I like your grading at the end of the video :)
Great video as always but what we all really want to know is... "I'm flying from Fr. Lauderdale to Montreal to pick up my car because of a road trip cut short in Labrador." ??? lmfao! That's got to be a much more interesting story. Hell, it sounds like the opening of mystery movie. Appreciate the road trip post #YUL Stay safe, healthy, and happy.
10:57 Food served on a plane at over 30,000 feet in the sky is not actually bland. Because of the dry environment of the aircraft cabin and the sound of the engines, plus the pressurization during the flight dulls your sense of taste. I bet you anything that pizza would be pretty spicy on the ground!
Love the A330 but not as much as the A340 :) surprised that food had to be paid for and wasn't included within the ticket price, in Europe it's only the low cost carriers that make a charge for food, pity that the catering company seemed to run out of butter for the sandwich. AC have a pretty poor reputation within the UK on routes to Canada. Nicely filmed video though
@@QFSAviation Oh, man! I wonder how much was the parking rates were at Montreal International Airport... I've only been to the Ontario and British Columbia Provinces in my life; the high cost of goods and/or services are up there, well above the greater Los Angeles area.
@@mynintendogamingfeed5208 parking for 30 days cost me roughly $800 CAD. Very outrageous but I chose to park in the main garage because I heard cars get broken into at the long-term lot

Hello, I am from Venezuela and it really strikes me that CONVIASA airline planes, which is the state airline of Venezuela, are parked at an airport in the United States, since there are innumerable diplomatic conflicts.
The last time I flew with Air Canada (well with regular Air Canada and not Jazz) the plane was equipped with that lame old Legacy IFE system and I had trouble finding anything of interest to watch aside from repeating the same episodes of Almost Naked Animals and The Fairly Oddparents over and over again and also Rise Of The Guardians, a movie I regret even watching let alone on a plane. I’m glad AC updated the IFE system
IMHO, Air Canada should just scrap Rouge. It’s a crappy product. Take the aircraft, refurbish it to mainline standards. Sell some “no frills” seats and be done with the mess altogether. Flew Rouge Business Class and it was rubbish. I’ll stick with Air Canada mainline. 😉👍🏻
@@robyoungquist5803 For I fly on Westjet Airlines back in 2015 I haven't try any of there upcoming stuff as yet but I'll get there soon also I heard that Porter Airlines New Embraer E195-E2 Jets will soon fly too The USA and The Caribbean Destinations afterwards.

Definitely has changed least comfortable of the wide bodies, in my opinion the 777-300ER it the best because of the space
@@michaelcarson7635 There is less space in 10 abrest 777 than on 8 abrest 330
