I feel sorry for the other prisoners who have to listen to this clown for the next 60 years
He'll make the other inmates wish they got life.
Right! That’s cruel and unusual punishment in itself! 😂
@@beepbopboop7727 he'll give the other inmates an opportunity to get life! 😆

He killed old women and children. Once he gets into general population , they are going to have a field day with him.

LMFAO!! I LITERALLY was thinking the same thing 😅! Oh my god!! This dude was on another level 🤣
LOL same. When he said 'interesting,' I thought, 'it really isn't' lol
His “interesting” seems more of him saying the witness is a liar but my gosh he does act like he knows more than the judge, attorneys, witnesses and seems to think that he discovered something groundbreaking.
Tactic of someone immature!
This guy really is the embodiment of the quote "The man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client."
How the jurors didn't burst into laughter watching him embarrassing himself shows massive restraint.
they were probably tired of hearing the same joke over and over again.
I don't know how anyone in that courtroom resisted themselves from trying to rush and atack this POS.
I'm amazed that the bailiff behind him keeps a poker face during the entire trial, and never laughs once.
In an attempt to understand Brooks point in his questioning, I looked up his height and weight. Based on an October 26, 2022, release, his height was listed at 5’8” and his weight was 150lbs. So, the witness was actually spot on in his description of his height and weight.
His drivers license stated that hes 5ft8 and 140 pounds
@savagekingx1321 what's your point? As of Brooks' most recent arrest, the witness was still spot on lol. Not sure what his state ID (which is different by only 10 lbs lol) has anything to do with the OP's point...
@@JimSty-bh1ossome people just like arguing 😂
Would it be fair to say that that statement’s accurate? What if the record showed the accused was in fact 5’8.5’’ and 151 lbs?
@@savagekingx1321*sigh*. You apparently don’t get the point. Let me help…let’s say that you were at a party with 12 people and someone asked you later, “How many people were there? It’s not like he guessed him as 6’0 210.

Its ironic that he questions how this witness can recognize him, when at the beginning of this trial Brooks himself made an accusation about one of the jurors "flipping him off" during a prior appearance. So it seems that in Brook's little world, he is the only one who possesses the ability to "recognize" and "identify" someone.

Am I the only one who wonders if while he’s in prison he will be telling the cops that he doesn’t consent to being called that name?
He'll be an inmate number in prison. Nothing more nothing less
What “name” was he referring to?
A prison guard will tell the warden: "Inmate 191553 doesn't identify as Darrell Brooks, and Jimmy cracked corn and I don't care." 😆

Complete badass.
The fact people have to take questions form this criminal Is just insane.
His line of questioning led to nothing that really helped his defense. He truly thinks, cause he doesn't identify as DARRELL BROOKS; that the ( person ) / ( I'm not a person, I'm a human being ) sitting/ asking questions at the the defense table IS NOT the person that committed the crimes. Uses all his verbal gymnastics 'skills' to TRIP UP witnesses SEMANTICS- to somehow PROVE that because his appearance is different ( short hair vs long hair/ suit & tie instead of the grungy clothes he was wearing ) than at the time he committed his horrific crimes. @@Menga213 Maybe instead of going around all the comments saying this, why don't you explain how this is gonna be a mistrial? As far as I know, an unreliable witness is not enough to mistrial a case
@@lotanowo If the jury is truly impartial; which I doubt. The prosecutors has not proven without reasonable doubt that Mr. Brooks is guilty. They have had bad witness using YOU YOU comments which can't be use in a court of law. Than the prosecutors have also stated character attacks such as Mr. Brooks is using a Mumbo Jumbo defense. They have already called him a looney. You can't be impartial or bias in the court of LAW. Also that fact that Mr. Brooks is question that he has not been given a laptop can also hurt the case. Another thing that can also hurt the case is when Mr. Brook does cross examination they don't allow him to ask Question. If the State blocks Mr. Brooks witness this trial will be a mistrial. The judge can say whatever she wants; it only takes ONE jury to say. NO VOTE which is a automatic Mistrial. So Friend Lotan!! Do some research the State has screwed up
@@Menga213 Court cases use witness to identify people in court all the time. It's up to cross examination to put into doubt if the witness is truthful or not remembering things correctly, and the jury to decide the facts in the case. The problem Brooks has is there is so much video and picture evidence, all the witness are there to do is to confirm that the video is an accurate depiction of the events. They could have done this whole case without witnesses but they are playing it safe because brooks first claims are that the videos and pictures are either fake or not of him, So instead of leaving it up to the jury alone, they bring in witness to confirm what they saw, so now the jury has to choose that all the witness are untruthful and the videos aren't real or are hiding something, rather than the videos not telling an incomplete picture or being false somehow.
Also like to add witness can and do show bias all the time. It's up to the lawyers to show that to the jury. The one's that must be impartial are the judges and jury. Each side can and do brings witness that are bias toward their side and it's under cross that you try to undermine that testimony. Good example is the amber heard trial, and she brought up that therapist witness with a bias against Depp, and Depp's lawyers under cross showed the bias and brought up another therapist witness that proved the bias and how he went against ethical codes he swore to upheld, making his testimony de-credited in the eyes of the jury. Both testimonies where allowed and the jury decided which one to believe base on facts they observed.

Love how this witness keeps point out that Darrell is him...
Yeah
I'M LOOKING AT YOU!!! Exactly how everyone should answer! Perfect
Bravo for constantly calling him you
I hope he enjoys jail for THE REST OF HIS LIFE!
Only a person who has never been to prison would think and say such a thing. Prison is no place for any human being. If anything, take his life the same as he took others, but prison is completely and utterly inhumane. Anyone who thinks otherwise clearly has never been through that type of torture.
@@Junior0G I’ve been but it was also a minimum security I know for me it wasn’t bad but Maximum yeaaa. Not to mention I was there for just a little over 2 years it changed my life positively
@@Junior0G if prison is worst than death, then I am glad he will be in it for life, he killed 6 people one being a child.
@@Junior0G Isn't that the point though? It's supposed to be as uninviting and uncomfortable as possible. It's a punishment.
@@Junior0G prison is a place for people who have broken the law. Yes, there are cases where innocent people have been sent there and that’s very sad. However, in this case, being locked-away for the rest of his life is nothing compared to the misery and pain he’s inflicted on people for decades……he’s a truly wicked person. So, while I respect your comment, I do feel it was over the top in this case. Brooks has never had to face consequences for his actions and he and his mother still shout about how he wasn’t given the help he needed etc. It’s all nonsense. He was allowed to commit violent acts for years and wasn’t properly punished. He deserves death, but he’ll be locked-up with access to food, a bed, medication that he claims he needs and the people including an 8 year old child he murdered have no such rights.
He’s completely unravelling and it’s hilarious to watch.
He's a rat scurrying for a way off the ship!
Literally the funniest thing I’ve watched in a long time
I love this witness when he says how can you say who is there he goes I know you were there he is so to the point and I love it
What a creep. He wouldn’t last 1 hour in GP
Both statements you made are true.
He's building his prison reputation.
@Nomen Clature prison would be a gift. He deserves exactly what he gave.. surprise surprise here comes a car from behind.
@Nomen Clature "Grounds."
Such a pity they don't let him mix with the other prisoners.
"Does it look like im 5'9?" opens his jacket. 🥴🤣
When Brooks is found guilty he will then say he did not consent for the jury to deliberate without him lol.
