My heart fills with exuberance of joy as I learn my God of Old Testament that connects me to my Jesus of the New Testament . I must admit to myself that I am new babe of this teaching even I have been sitting in the pew of church since 1991 even I claim iam a Christian . I feel being refresh and renewed in my new found faith of God Jesus because of lack of understanding in the word of God and the importance of also reading the Old Testament ,without the wisdom ,guidance of Pastor Jeff Gods spirit within me would not be quickens and the more I listen and anticipate a new sermon from the reading of the Holy Bible I come to realize the love ,hunger to hear day by day .Thank you Pastor Jeff for connecting the dot of Old Testament to New Testament . I love to be newborn person just like Jesus told in New Testament.God Bless your church, your flocks and many ministries that you are so passionate about. I believe you have fullfill the desire of your heart through teaching the word of Jesus to all nation via internet of You Tube ,Facebook, tweeter and other forms of spreading ,announcing the Good News of our Lord mighty God Jesus as a truly faithful disciple of Jesus Christ.🙏🙏🙏

This man is a great example for men to study to show themselves approved, and likewise have seething confidence in our creator and God. I’m learning from your zeal and confidence for and in God. I’m thankful God is giving me such the tree to pick fruit from, and not allowing me to be deceived by the wickedness of organizations that twist scripture.
This is a spirit that needs to indwell more of the younger generation, so I pray that the Lord will allow me to pass this same zeal and knowledge on to others around me, so that the world would be that much more influenced by Jesus Christ. I also pray that your message and spirit will reach the ones around you, and that the young men around you will also pick up on this and not the current pleasure-loving and careless spirit that so many men bow to.
All this is happening to the perfection of the body of Christ, wherein, hopefully, we will eventually be so filled with the spirit of God that Bible scripture alone will be our basis for all interaction, just like with our Lord Jesus.
“Masculinity” should be defined as the drive for power in God, not the drive for power in the flesh. And so, with that said, masculinity doesn’t really exist-only the Holy Spirit-which makes a man manly through obedience to God by power, wisdom and confidence and a woman womanly through obedience to God through the same being in submission to man.
Although, I do enquire: do your set your sights on bringing the church to obey the verse about women not speaking in the church (1 Co 14:33-38)? Are you gradually bringing the church to that point of obedience to scripture so as to not burden the message of the cross currently in the community with quarrels that could be avoided?

So Amazing to hear a Reformed Pastor who believes that the Torah, the Old Testament is still "in play" today, and is STILL the Word of God and has NOT passed away. Hallelujah!! What a great sermon. I was an evangelical pastor for 40+ yrs and never taught the Torah as being relevant for today. Praise the Lord for Jeff because he is teaching the revelation of God and his teaching is not from man, but from God.

When a evangelical pastor starts preaching Torah it's a sign that God is working!
Yes Jesus didn't come to abolish the law but to be a perfect example of obedience to it! What we are to do as his disciples is to imitate him. Our Savior taught obedience to both the spirit and the letter of the Law.

    • @modernvintagelifestyles

That is correct. Jesus also taught that the whole law rests on 2 commandments.
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Jesus didn't come to abolish the law but to fulfill it, in order that the whole law might be fulfilled in those who walk according to the spirit, not those who observe the days and dietary regulations which have nothing to do with crucifying the deeds of the flesh.
The whole law is fulfilled in those who love their neighbor as themself, because love is the fruit of walking in the spirit, and the things of the spirit are contrary to the things of the flesh.
Those who subject themselves to the written code will be held to its full standard

      @Whole Bible Believers
In 1 John 3: 23 we are told that these are the commandments of Jesus "That we believe in him whom the Father has sent and that we love another." These two commandments can be found respectively in John 6: 29, John 13: 34 in the Lord's own words.
In Hebrews 7 we are told "when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well"
Jesus fulfilled the law according to the flesh that we might serve him in the newness of the Spirit. The scriptures are crystal clear that the whole law is now fulfilled in loving one another by means of walking in the sanctification of the Holy Spirit, not through observing the elementary principles of the Torah.
The law of Christ is that we bear one another's burden, this principle of loving one another was foundational to the law of Moses all along, in this way Jesus isn't deposing the Law but fulfilling it in all those who walk according to his commandments i.e. believe in him and love one another.
Believing in Jesus fulfills the sacrificial aspect of the Law and loving one another fulfills the the ten commandments. Thus we do not overthrow the Law by the commandments of Jesus but we uphold it. How do you read the scriptures?

Matthew 5:18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God's law will disappear UNTIL its purpose is achieved.
Ephesians 2:15-16 He stopped the fighting between them by His death on the cross. He put an END to the LAW. Then He made of the two people one new kind of people like Himself. In this way, He made peace. 16 He brought both groups together to God. Christ finished the fighting between them by His death on the cross.
Jeremiah 31:31 "The day is coming," says the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah.
Hebrews 8:13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.
2 Corinthians 3:9-11 If the Law of Moses, that leads to death, came in shining-greatness, how much greater and brighter is the light that makes us right with God? 10 The Law of Moses came with shining-greatness long ago. But that light is no longer bright. The shining-greatness of the New Way of Worship that brings us life is so much brighter. 11 The shining light that came with the Law of Moses soon passed away. But the new way of life is much brighter. It will never pass away.
Hebrews 9:15-16 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that he(Jesus) has DIED as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. 16 In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it.
Galatians 4:4-5 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
Romans 10:4 For Christ has ALREADY accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.
Galatians 2:16 Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law."
Galatians 2:21 I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
Philippians 3:8-9 Even more than that, I think of everything as worth nothing. It is so much better to know Christ Jesus my Lord. I have lost everything for Him. And I think of these things as worth nothing so that I can have Christ. 9 I want to be as one with Him. I could not be right with God by what the Law said I must do. I was made right with God by faith in Christ.
Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you FREE from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous REQUIREMENT of the law might be FULLY met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Romans 4:15 God’s anger comes on a man when he does not obey the Law. But if there were no Law, then no one could break it.
Galatians 3:13 Christ bought us with His blood and made us free from the Law. In that way, the Law could not punish us. Christ did this by carrying the load and by being punished instead of us. It is written, “Anyone who hangs on a cross is hated and punished.”
Galatians 3:23-25 Before it was possible to be saved from the punishment of sin by putting our trust in Christ, we were held under the Law. It was as if we were being kept in prison. We were kept this way until Christ came. 24 The Law was used to lead us to Christ. It was our teacher, and so we were made right with God by putting our trust in Christ. 25 Now that our faith is in Christ, we do not need the Law to lead us.
Hebrews10:29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
Galatians 3:10-12 All those who expect the Law to save them from the punishment of sin will be punished. Because it is written, “Everyone who does not keep on doing all the things written in the Book of the Law will be punished.” 11 No one is made right with God by doing what the Law says. For, “The man right with God will live by faith.” 12 The Law does not use faith. It says, “You must obey all the Law or you will die.”
Matthew 22:36-40 36 “Master(Jesus), which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said unto him, “‘Thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.’ 38 This is the FIRST and great commandment. 39 And the SECOND is like unto it: ‘Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbor as thyself.’ 40 On these TWO commandments hang ALL the LAW and the
Acts 15:10-11 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”
Galatians 4:9 But now that you know God--or rather are known by God--how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?
Galatians 4:10-11 You observe days and months and seasons and years. 11 I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.
Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable unprofitable and vain.
Acts 13:38 Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins.
    (Q) But back in the old days they followed the LAW?
Galatians 6:13 Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
John 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet NONE of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill Me?”
Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy
Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:21But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good
Hebrews10:29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
Galatians 3:10-12 All those who expect the Law to save them from the punishment of sin will be punished. Because it is written, “Everyone who does not keep on doing all the things written in the Book of the Law will be punished.” 11 No one is made right with God by doing what the Law says. The New Covenant is a higher standard than the Old Covenant, not for our salvation, but for our conduct.
In Galatians chapter 3 the Apostle Paul reveals the temporary nature of the Sinai Covenant. Paul said the law was "added" 430 years "after" the promise made to Abraham "until" the seed (Christ) could come to whom the promise was made.
Christ contrasts the Old Covenant with the higher standard of the New Covenant: "But I say..."
Mat 5:21 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.'
Mat 5:22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.
Mat 5:23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
Mat 5:24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Mat 5:25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
Mat 5:26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.
Mat 5:27 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.'
Mat 5:28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Mat 5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Mat 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Mat 5:31 "Furthermore it has been said, 'Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.'
Mat 5:32 But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.
Mat 5:33 "Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.'
    Mat 5:34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne;
Mat 5:35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
Mat 5:36 Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black.
Mat 5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Mat 5:38 "You have heard that it was said, 'AN EYE FOR AN EYE AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.'
Mat 5:39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
Mat 5:40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also.
Mat 5:41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
Mat 5:42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.
Mat 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.'
Mat 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
Mat 5:45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
Mat 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
Mat 5:47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
Mat 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Confirmation of the contrast between the Old Covenant and New Covenant is found below.
2Co 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
2Co 3:7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
2Co 3:8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
Gal 4:24 which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar-
Gal 4:25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children-
Gal 4:26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Gal 4:27 For it is written: "REJOICE, O BARREN, YOU WHO DO NOT BEAR! BREAK FORTH AND SHOUT, YOU WHO ARE NOT IN LABOR! FOR THE DESOLATE HAS MANY MORE CHILDREN THAN SHE WHO HAS A HUSBAND."
Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
Gal 4:29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.
Gal 4:30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? "CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREEWOMAN."
Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
Heb 8:8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH-
Heb 8:9 NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT THAT I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS IN THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DISREGARDED THEM, SAYS THE LORD.
Heb 8:10 FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR MIND AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
Heb 8:11 NONE OF THEM SHALL TEACH HIS NEIGHBOR, AND NONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST OF THEM TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.
Heb 8:12 FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."
Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
Heb 12:18 For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, (Mount Sinai)
Heb 12:19 and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore.
Heb 12:20 (For they could not endure what was commanded: "AND IF SO MUCH AS A BEAST TOUCHES THE MOUNTAIN, IT SHALL BE STONED OR SHOT WITH AN ARROW."
Heb 12:21 And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I AM EXCEEDINGLY AFRAID AND TREMBLING.")
Heb 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

I wish Pastor Durbin had also addressed Acts 15 regarding Gentiles not being required to be circumcised, and Acts 10 regarding food that was unclean under the Law becoming permissible. Yes, rape is a capital offense in the old covenant, but so is having a disobedient son who becomes a glutton or drunkard [Duet. 21:18-20]. Does Pastor Durbin uphold the punishments outlined for all crimes throughout Old Testament? How does this tie in obedience to ceremonial laws regarding worship & feasts? I am genuinely interested in learning more about this perspective on a Christian's approach to the Law.

Jeff, what are your feelings towards people who live by faith but keep his commandments, not for the sake of slavation neccasarily but because they love god. Becaise i feel that if we are going to say homosexuality is a sin and should repent of it but then seperate that from eating biblically clean for example, isnt that a bit hipocritical? I do not believe my works save me but i do them as a sign of my love for him, and would suggest others do so as well if they love him also. Lots of believers around the world were awakened supernaturally to keeping torah and its believed to be a move of the holy spirit, inspiring believers to live the torah as a sign of our love and faithfulness to god.

In the mosaic laws, laws of morality and good neighborhood are contained that are different from laws that seperate Israel from the nations. I believe if someone desires to do the laws that seperate israel for the sake of their beauty and depth, thats a fine choice to make, but no one is required to leep them, but most certainly, no one should keep any law feel justified v

I've been reading Romans, and Galations. And so many times I see the bible telling us to basically endure evil without battling it.. not to commit strife. Not to argue with people weak of faith. Not to rise up against government. And it really has me confused. Are we not to debate people about the word of God? How do we defend him if we cant have disagreements with others. How should we treat the Mosaic law? Should we still be making sacrifices and offerings in the Tabernacle? Should we be offering the blood of bulls and goats and drink offerings to God? Or has the Mosaic law been fulfilled in Christ Jesus?isn't someone who is guilty of one part of the law, the mosaic law, guilty of all of it? In The sermon on the Mount Jesus refers to the Mosaic law when he says "you have heard it said, thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say...." And it goes on to modify the old law. so are we still under the old law of Moses, or are we under the new law of Jesus?

cindybin2001 not to pile on you, Cindy, and know that I say this out of love. My Mother is Mormon and we have had discussions about this. Mormonism is an apostate from the real Gospel. You can tell by looking up a few questions and answer them for yourself. One of which is, Joseph claims the the Son and the Father both appeared to him. Jesus claimed no one has seen the father but the son. John 1:18 and John 6:46. Who is right? Additionally, Mormons believe they will become a God one day and that is pantheism. There is only One God who is from ever lasting to ever lasting. And he was clear that there was no God before him nor shall there be after. So who is right?
Satan thought he could be like God due to the pride that was found in him... I would suggest, in a loving way, you reread the Bible without Jospeh smiths testimony looming in the background and believe in Jesus Christ, and only in Him. Godbless, Mis :)

Very good. YHVH didn’t gave us the Torah to be abolished after some time. YHVH statues are forever throughout the all generations. YHVH is forever and He does not changes His mind after some time. To Him time is irrelevant, so it will be contrary to His being to abolish the instructions and statues that He gave to all after some time.
Yeshua (Jesus) did not came to abolish the law (the Torah) but to show us how to perfectly live by it.
Yeshua was opposed to those, who add on top of the YHVH law (the Torah). Many Jewish sects (then and now) add too many laws and traditions to the YHVH statues, and that is why Yeshua was angry with those, who are in love to the ways and traditions of man, rather than YHVH’s ways.
Since we are all the followers of Yeshua and His ways, then in today’s world we should all filter the ways and traditions of man just as Yeshua did then.
I agree with lots of comments below and my heart is full of joy seeing the awakening of the “body”.
P.S. I believe that YHVH is using Jeff to do many amazing things for the awaking of many lost in traditions and dogmas people.
I recommend this amazing close to 900 pages book on truth on traditions and dogmas in Christian as well as Jewish movements.

They may have addressed it, and I just haven't found it yet. But when Dr. White uses John 6:44. I agree that all who come were drawn, I just don't see where it says all who were drawn come. They have an easy answer for this, or maybe a different verse to present, but that's why I'd like to get in the chat, so that when things like that come up the people in there may already know the answer.

That if we all believe we are saved by "confessing and believing" and that we know we are saved by grace through faith, then we're on the 'same side'. Other differences I usually don't get into much bc it seems to cause alot of necessary division. say that NOT every one was drawn.....
If you will ask the Calvinist, Why are others NOT drawn by the father? It will be a dilemma for them.....

choose some to be saved and others to

to glorify Him because God is Sovereign....

      'The Wheat and the Tares'
In the parable of the Wheat and Tares,
Jesus explained who are these two groups
of people and where did they come from...
The Wheat are the True Children of God,
While the Tares are the children of the devil....
All the Wheat will surely be saved and not
      one will be lost....

All laws come from the Father , but remember Moses and Jesus Christ are the mediators ; they intercede between the Father and the one's under the covenant ( the children of Israel , and the strangers who attach themselves by doing what is required by the children of Israel ; which is keeping the Father's laws or commandments , or instructions ; from the first one he gave Adam , to the end of the seventh day : Exodus 12:49 and Romans 2:11-15 ) . The transgression of Adam put all mankind under the sins of the first death ; but it is your faith or lack of faith , that will deliver you , or put you under the second death ( lake of fire ) . When the children of Israel went into a covenant with the God of Israel , he forgave them of their previous sins ; the only sins they had , was the sin that Adam put all mankind under . Eternal life was cut off from mankind , because you cannot dwell with the Father if you are in the grave : Jesus Christ had to live a life without sin ( the wages of sin is death ) ; so Jesus by living his life without sin , he overcame the first death - the grave ; Which is the free gift given to all mankind . But you must live by faith : Repenting of your sins with a sorrowful heart , and start believing by keeping your mediator's Jesus Christ commandments ; which are the same as the Father's ; that free you from the second death ( lake of fire ) ; Remember , by living a life without sin , Jesus freed all mankind from the first death ( 1 Corinthians 15:12-22 ) . Moses and Jesus Christ gave the laws of the Father ( from the first one given to Adam , to the white throne judgments : All of God's instructions are laws , or commandments ; which includes the covenants : They are instructions to righteousness . The mediators are the husbands/coverings/protections for the covenant people ; and they were given laws to protect the covenant people . When the children of Israel refused to repent of their sins by faith , God gave to them through their mediator ( Moses ) a law to kept from killing their flesh/body ; which was the law of animal sacrifice and oblations , or law of Moses , or schoolmaster , or law of works , or circumcision of flesh for sin , or whole law , or law of sin and death . This law has many names but it could not forgive you of the sins of the heart/mind/spirit ; because it was not of faith ; which you are required to live to serve the Father . Jesus Christ obeyed the will of the Father by living a blameless life without sin , he lived by faith ; So all who will come under this mediator must also live by faith . The law of Christ is the law of faith , or law of liberty , or the circumcision of heart for sin , or the law grace ; Which is the same as the Father's commandments , or instructions , or laws . The law under the mediator Moses was for the flesh/body through works ; And the law under the mediator Jesus Christ is for the heart/spirit through faith . Remember what Moses told the children of Israel in Deuteronomy 18:15-19 ? Both are prophets like unto each other . If Jesus Christ circumcise you of the heart/mind/spirit through faith ( Priesthood of Melchisedec ) ; them Moses circumcised you of the flesh/body through works ( Priesthood of Leviticus ) . Hebrews 7:11-16 , " If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood , ( for under it the people received the law , ) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec , and not be called after the order of Aaron ? For the priesthood being changed , there is made of necessity a change also in the law . For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe , of which no man gave attendance at the altar . For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah ; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood . And it is yet far more evident : for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest , Who is made , not after the law of a carnal commandment , but after the power of an endless life " . Finally , when you read through the gospel , you see circumcision , law , works , flesh ; it's important that you associate these words in the context in which they are given . An example of this is : The circumcision that Jesus was talking about in John 7:22 , " Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision ; ( not because it is of Moses , but of the fathers; ) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man " ) . This is not the law of the covenant of the Father to Abraham , circumcision of foreskin ; but the law of animal sacrifice and oblations through their husband Moses ( Matthew 8:1-4 ) ; because the fathers ( children of Israel ) were transgressing the laws of God , or had become unclean due to touching something unclean, or leprosy or something to make the body unclean : John 7:19 , " Did not Moses give you the law , and yet none of you keepeth the law ( This is the law , or commandments , or instructions of the Father ; which includes all covenants ) ? Why go ye about to kill me ? . In Acts 15 , circumcision after the manner of Moses to be save was the law of animal sacrifice , not the circumcision of the flesh of foreskin ; which is an everlasting covenant through Abraham . The brethren from Judae'a believed that the Gentiles had to go through this to clean the body when it become unclean . The Apostles/elders and Israelites continued in this for the cleaning of the body , but not for sin . The Gentiles like father Abraham never when through the law of Moses , or law of animal sacrifice for the sin of the body , so they would not start ( Please read Acts 21:20-25 , Romans 2:25-29 , 1st Corinthians 7:17-24 , Galatians 2:16,21, Galatians 3:10-19 , etc... ) . In Acts 16 :1-4 , Paul circumcised Timotheus of the animal sacrifice for the cleaning of the body , because these Israelites was just learning of the council decree of the circumcision of faith through Jesus Christ for sin ; but Israel would continue under the circumcision of flesh , or the animal sacrifice for the cleaning of the body when it became unclean by touching something unclean , or a woman on her monthly etc ... ; but the gentiles would not go through this . These Israelites would never have allowed Timothy to enter their quarters , because everything he touch would have been looked at as unclean . In Galatians 2:1-4 ; years after the council decree , Paul would not circumcise Titus of the animal sacrifice ; and he explained this in 1st Corinthians 9:19-22 . Peter stated that Paul writings and other scriptures are sometimes hard to be understood ( 2nd Peter 3:15-16 ) Shalom !

    • @messengerisrael3817
      @messengerisrael3817 4 года назад

When you read the gospel , remember there is more than one type of law ; that is while Peter stated this : 2 Peter 3:15-16 , " And account that the long suffering of our LORD is salvation ; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you ; As also in all his epistles , speaking in them of these things ; in which are some things hard to be understood , which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest , as they do also the other scriptures , unto their own destruction " . Paul stated that the law justify no one ; by the law is the knowledge of sin , which you read throughout the gospel ( Romans 3:20-21 , Galatians 16,21 , Romans 6:14 , Romans 4:13-15 , Galatians 3:10-13 , etc ... ) , but is this the law of the Father , or another law he gave through the mediator Moses for sin ? The sin sacrifice through the mediators are also call laws ( the law of works , or law of animal sacrifice , or the school master , or the circumcision of flesh for sin , or the law of sin and death , or the whole law , or the law of Moses ; because it was given from the Father to the mediator as the sin sacrifice , which is the protection/covering/husband for the people of the covenant ) . Romans 3:20-21 , " Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight : for by the law is the knowledge of sin " . What does it means to be justified ? Answer , forgiven or redeemed from your past sins . This requires blood ( a sacrifice ) and Faith ( repenting and obedience ) . The laws, commandments , instructions , which includes the covenants of the Father is what put you in sin , if you fail to keep them , but to recover you requires a sin sacrifice through faith . This went through the mediators ( Moses ; which was the law of animal sacrifice of works for the flesh/body , but not of faith ; and Jesus Christ ; which is his blood through faith ; which forgives you of the heart/mind/spirit , to become a Son of the Father ( law of liberty , or the circumcision of heart for sin , or the law of grace , or law of Christ ) . Faith is repenting of your sins with a sorrowful heart , and believing the commandments of Jesus Christ by obedience ; which are the same instructions or laws of the Father ) . Romans 3:20-21 can be explain in Hebrews 10:1-4 , " For the law having a shadow of good things to come , and not the very image of the things , can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect . For then would they not have ceased to be offered ? because that the worshippers once purged should have no more conscience of sins . But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year . For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins " ; Which was through the mediator Moses . In James 2:10 , For whosoever shall keep the whole law , and yet offend in one point , he is guilty of all " . If the whole law is the laws of the Father ,and you keep them , you will not offend in no point ; but if you are under the mediator Moses , under the law of animal sacrifice , and you offend any of the laws of the Father , the animal sacrifice or whole law cannot forgive you of the heart/mind/spirit . In Colossians 2:16 , " Let no man therefore judge you in meat , or in drink , or respect of an holy day , or of the new moon , or of the Sabbath days " . Who is Paul talking to ? Answer , the Gentiles and believing Israelites now under the blood of Jesus Christ . To understand this , you must know what was required under the mediator Moses ( Numbers 28 & Numbers 29 ) ; which required the Israelites to offer drink and meat offerings daily and sacrifices , on the new moon ( monthly ) , the weekly Sabbaths , and the holy days ; which includes Passover, Feast of unleavened bread , Pentecost , Feast of trumpets , Day of Atonement , and Feast of Tabernacles . The Israelites who did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah to take away sin , continued under the mediator Moses , and they tried to judge those who would not sacrifice and give oblations at this times . When Jesus died , he caused the sacrifices and oblations the cease ( Daniel 9:27 ) ; which will begin again in the 1000 reign of Christ ( Ezekiel 45:17-25 ) ; Which are a shadow of things to come . All of Ezekiel from chapter 40 to 48 pertains to the 1000 year reign of Christ , please read it . Final commit , Jesus obeyed the will of the Father , and we are to live as he live ( 1 John 2:1-7 ) , and the Messiah himself stated when asked how to get eternal life ( Matthew 19:16-17 ) : " Keep the commandments " . Please , as you read the gospel , make sure that the words are used in their proper contexts ( law of the Father are instructions to righteousness , and the law of the mediators are to justify or forgive or redeem the flesh/body ( Moses ) and heart/mind/spirit ( Jesus Christ ) . Shalom !
