One of the best sermons I’ve heard explaining how salvation comes to us. Beautiful! One thing that really stood out to me though....when telling the story about how hot it was at the car wash, you said there was a “black” man there and continued with your story. I guarantee if it was a white man you would not have used the adjective “white”. You would have just said there was “a man” and continued on. You even kinda felt the need to justify the fact he was black by saying a “handsome” black guy. I am not pointing fingers, i am guilty also. It is so ingrained in us white Americans we don’t even realize it anymore. We all need to repent of this habit! Let’s stop making that distinction then maybe we really all could live as though we are one in Christ....like you were preaching at the end of the sermon, there is no jew, gentile, black, white....etc. Hopefully I didn’t offend anyone here but Christ has been showing me this hypocrisy lately and boom...here it is again....strange. Have mercy on our souls Lord!

The Holiness Code is not gone entirely. Love your neighbor as yourself and don't hate your brother in your heart and many other moral commandments are in the Leviticus 19 holiness code. I think you mean the ceremonial laws for ethnic distinction are no longer in effect.

The questions the disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24;3 were , " Tell us , when shall these things be ? and what shall be the sign of thy coming , and the end of the world " ? Jesus answered all three questions in the order that the disciples asked . The first was about the destruction of the temple ( Matthew 24;4-20 ; when the gospel of the kingdom was preached in all the world for a witness ( Matthew 24;14 ) as stated by the apostle Paul in Romans 1;5,8 , Romans 10;17-18 , Colossians 1;5-6,23 - please read these scriptures . In Matthew 24;15 , the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet of the destruction of the temple was Daniel 9;26 ; and Jesus told the one's in Judaea to flee into the mountains in Matthew 24;16-20 , which many did after the Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem around 66 A.D. , but withdrew because of troubles in Rome ( Nero ) . In Isaiah 16;1-4 , the scriptures also tell of the scattering of the children of Israel from Jerusalem before it's destruction in 70 A.D. . The second question of the sign of his coming was answered in Matthew 24;27-31 , Mark 13; 24-27 , and Luke 21;25-28 . The third question of the end of the world was answered in Matthew 24;32-36 , Mark 13;28-33 , and Luke 21;29-33 . The third question , what Jesus was talking about when he said ; " But of that day and hour knoweth no man , no , not the angels of heaven , but my Father only " ; This was not of his return to set up his kingdom for 1000 years , but the third question , the end of the world . When he said that this generation shall not pass away , till all these things be fulfilled , he was talking about the generation of the sons of man becoming the generation of the Sons of God . On the subject of Abraham , what is works to God , but obeying him , and this is about keeping his commandments . Abraham believed God by taking action on all of the instructions/commandments he was given . What the average person , who calls himself a christian , say about belief in God , is just mouth , but no action . Anyone can say I believe , but what is righteousness ? ( 2nd Timothy 3;15-17 And from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures , which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus . All scripture is given by inspiration of God , and is profitable for doctrine , for reproof , for correction , for instruction in RIGHTEOUSNESS ; That the man of God may be perfect , throughly furnished unto all GOOD WORKS ) . This is work to God , keeping his commandments/instructions . Please answer this question ? Why would the same one who gave Adam , Noah , Abraham , Isaac , Jacob , Moses , David , Isaiah, Jeremiah , Ezekiel , Daniel and so many more the commandments of God when he was in his God state , turn around and change his commandments when he came in the flesh as a sin sacrifice and an instructor of righteousness ? Remember we have neither heard or seen the shape of the Father at any time ; so the Word is the same one in the old testament and Jesus Christ in the gospel . Jesus Christ is the tree of life , and the instructions are the same as they were in the beginning ; He came in the flesh to recover his creation , based on the transgression of Adam and all of us ; he was a sin sacrifice ( Isaiah 53 ) . In Romans 13;7,17 , the one's who have the rule over you are not the pastors ( Luke 22;24-26 And there was also a strife among themselves , which of them should be accounted the greatest. And he said unto them , The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them ; and they that exercise authority over them are called benefactors . But ye shall not be so ; but he that is greatest among you , let him be as the younger ; and he that is chief , as he that doth service ) . The one's who have rule over you are God's Holy Angels , or in other words , the Comforter , or the Holy Spirit of God , who brings you his word ( John 6;63 , " It is the spirit that quickeneth ; the flesh profiteth nothing ; the words that I speak unto you , they are spirit , and they are life " ) ; which is the Holy Spirit ( Hebrews 1;13-14 , " But to which of the angels said he at any time , sit on my right hand , until I make thine enemies thy footstool ? Are they not ministering spirits , sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation " ) ? You are seal with the Angel or Holy Spirit until the day of redemption ( receive your heavenly body ) . In 1st John 5;7 , " For there are three that bear record in heaven , The Father , the Word , and the Holy Ghost ; and these three are one " ; Which can be explained in Revelation 1;1 , " The Revelation of Jesus Christ , which God gave unto him , to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass ; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John " . The three that bear record in heaven are the Father , the Word , and the Angel ; which is the Holy Spirit . The Godhead is of two , from everlasting to everlasting , the one we call the Father , and the Word , which is Jesus Christ . Please read these scriptures , and they will shew you who what the Holy Spirit is ( Genesis 32;24-32 then Genesis 48;11-16 ) , ( Exodus 3;1-6 ) , ( Exodus 23;20-22,32 then Judges 2;1-4 ) , ( Judges 13;1-3, 6-18,19-22 ) , ( Ecclesiastes 5;4-6 then Acts 5;1-10 ) , ( Isaiah 63;7-10 ) , ( Acts 12;5-15 ) , ( Acts 8;26-27,29-39 ) . Remember , the Comforter or Spirit of truth will guide you in all truth ; for he shall not speak of himself ; but whatsoever he shall hear , that shall he speak ; and he will shew you things to come ( Daniel , Revelation , Ezekiel , Isaiah , etc... ) . At 58:30 *That person is saved if they believe in Christ alone for salvation however because they are of the flesh, making them infants in Christ, and disobedient children they will be chastened and scourged by our Heavenly Father as the Bible says so that they can learn from it. For proof read 1 Corinthians 3 and Hebrews 12. That would be a discipleship issue and not a salvation issue. Remember we are under grace purchased by the blood of Christ some abuse the grace and are what the Bible calls infants in Christ, while others honor the grace, run the race, and receive a greater reward. We need to help our weaker brothers and sisters become the latter and not shame them causing ourselves to fall into legalism.*

Its another symbol of the occult adopted by Christianity. This symbol is used to symbolize the Christian trinity doctrine, however this symbol was originally used to represent the Three-Part Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Crone). This symbol is used as a secretive sign by the Aquarian Conspirators (A New Age Cult) and appears on "The Aquarian Conspiracy" a New Age handbook. This symbol also appears on the popular TV show "Charmed" which promotes witchcraft and appears on the front cover of "The Book of Shadows" which is used in witchcraft and Satanism.

What does the trinity symbol mean?
The symbol is known as a 'triquetra' that is derived from ancient Celtic knotwork & adopted by Christians around St. Patrick's time as a symbol of the Trinity(Father, Son, & Holy Spirit). The interweaving lines represent One being in Three seperate, but equal parts.
But there's one problem with representing the Trinity, or the Godhead with symbols - it's CLEARY FORBIDDEN in the Bible!
Acts 17:29, clearly FORBIDS such symbology: ". . . we ought NOT to think that the Godhead [the Trinity] is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, GRAVEN BY ART [symbols, icons, etc.] and man's device."
That could NOT POSSIBLY be any clearer!
To represent the Trinity or God as a "symbol" or "image", etc. is strictly forbidden. All throughout the Old Testament the use of graven images are strictly forbidden! The very FIRST of the ten commandments forbids such symbolism!

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

*N°1 Faith Alone (Sola Fide)*
We are saved by faith, yes, but not by faith alone (Jm 2.24), everyone will receive according to his works (Rom 2.6-8), and we must not be deceived as to this fact (1 Cor 6.9-10).
Martin Luther hated the book of St. James for this reason, that it outright denied faith alone, and so in his anger he called it a book of straw and took it out of the Bible.
Straw back then was used to hide animal excrements, it made them less visible and made them smell less bad, so he was effectively accusing the word of God of being subtle excrement.
We are saved by faith working through love (Gal 5.6), the three theological virtues are faith, hope and love, the greatest of these is not faith but in fact love (1 Cor 13.13).
Salvation is picking up your cross and following after Jesus, it is both a moment and a life time struggle, you must keep it.
Are you trying to say you can lose your salvation?
How many lies will lose your salvation or is it just one thought? Does Jesus need to die for us again on the cross? Do we need another blood transfusion? We aren't perfect once we accept salvation, we are just covered by the blood of Jesus who paid our debt once and for all. If we have to keep our salvation that is an act of work in which we could boast.

Whether it be in the East or the West everyone believed in conditional salvation, everyone without exception, no eternal security doctrine.
Sacramental life is what gives you assurance of salvation, as well as perseverance in holiness of daily life.
