That guy made some smart and funny observations. I hadn't thought of that.

The world had changed a great deal between the two Fantasia movies. The use of celebrities is understandable given the relative financial failure of the first film and the different world in which the second was released. A formal evening out with appropriate 'gravitas' wasn't how to market the new Fantasia. It's just the reality of that time. And the film needed a wide audience to make a profit.

Harry Knowles' name is now dirt. It's crazy that he ascended so quickly in geekdom only to fall so fast and not even bounce.

Why is his name dirt now? I recall being on his website a lot back in the day, was there a particular incident that made his credibility tank?

@@EnriqueDeloSantos603 I think that his admission to multiple incidents of sexual harassments (or worse) is pretty bad. His selling out the website for personal gain (yet still pretending honesty in his reviews) is bad too.

I disagree with Roger and Harry. I like the celebrity introductions in Fantasia 2000, especially the one with Mickey before Pomp and Circumstance

Hurricane Carter was a good movie and black men were more likely to be convicted for a crime they didn't commit, but I am not sure that Hurricane Carter was innocent after reading how much that changed in the movie from the real case.
