Everything about Doyle is fantastic, I had the pleasure of meeting him in London last year. I truly believe that he is one of the finest musicians today. The vocal tone, guitar tone and music writing skills creates a fantastic package for some music which I listen to daily... What a talent!

Doyle is such a unique player and songwriter, I love his music. If you haven't heard his song "Cry" with Alice Smith at Crossroads, check it out, it is just an amazing performance.

Wow, look what I found! YT is great for that - you just stumble over these little nuggets of pure gold on here.
Thank you muchly for putting this up. I've been a fan of DBII ever since Arc Angels hit the scene way back when. Man, what a band THAT was! Of course, I found them from SRV and Chris and Tommy migrating from there.
Now I try to find anything DBII does as well as his bandmates from those days.
This is just wonderful, filling in early history of DBII and all.
    Thanks again!

Always loved Day Come Down, and now maybe I may cover it since I can see his chords. (Always loved the structure of that song). I play the same way he does so this is great to see his chords! Wonderful interview! Please keep this video here and thanks so much!

Thank you for this great, intimate interview and acoustic playing by Doyle. What a great musician and person! Regarding your discussion about the harmonica, it is perfectly possible to play it the wrong way round, that is with the high notes on the left, usually holding it with the right hand instead of the left. That's how William Clarke, Sonny Terry and Paul Butterfield played, to name a few of the most outstanding players.

Dominic, thank you so much for recording/sharing this video! Love Doyle, one of my favorite artists. He is special not only to me, but my wife as well. Our FIRST date was going to see him perform at the Will Rogers Theater in OKC. She had NO CLUE who he was or what he was capable of. She immediately fell in love with his music AND his band(Anthony Cole was there and phenomenal in his own right). After the show, I knew she was THE one. We will always connect him and the night we fell in love with each other. Again, many thanks and loved your grandfather in this, he’s a special guy. God bless you all🙏🏻❤️🎸🎧-Chris C.

I worked 6 months at MIM- The Music Insrtment Museum reparing instruments, mostly drums. I saw some shows but nobody in Doyle's caliber. I am partial to blues and some rock!

I don't know how I didn't know about Doyle until I started playing guitar 3 years ago. I graduated HS in 1998. The days of Limp Biskit and Brittany Spears 😠 Damn you, MTV! I guess I was engaged in some extracurricular activities then...maybe I zoned out thru it. I'm just surprised I missed the Jellycream/Great Wall concert, etc. I blame the drugs.

He makes me proud to be left handed, i used to watch the other kids in class with their Guitars the right way up but mine was upside down, my parents couldn't afford a left handed Guitar, there was usually a premium on them back in the day and unscrupulous dealers would wack a large chunk of £'s on. My parents were paying my tuition. It payed off in the end though, i have the slickest left hand Guitar collection you ever did see and I've been told i can play a bit. That's all i ever wanted.

Oh the cringe with the yank obsession of calling their sons after themselves. Like Joe Biden "Junior" at 78, and Doyle Bramall the second here. Talk about nepotism and sheer narcissism.

Apparently, you’re not familiar with the monarchy? At least in this case and in the other example, there’s some merit or accomplishment associated with the name. Otherwise, you wouldn’t know & wouldn’t comment. What exactly has the royal family done on their own merit?
