    Man I need an amp rack. Trying to get ideas but unfortunately I'm a much better musician than I am a wood worker so I'm trying to go simple!

    Excellent work! Although I know that black is the right color for studio shelves, it feels odd to apply it over oak - they would look great with oil or varnish finish, but then, not adequate for a studio :-)

      Personally i love the look of oak with the black because of how much the grain still shows through.

    How's the DIN rail holding up? Any guess on how many hours you have on it?

    As a fellow Canadian, where have you been getting your lumber from? Are the prices also up thereor getting more reasonable?

      Construction lumber is up but vaneer plywood has always been expensive.
