Happy to help! I'm pretty happy with the results - definitely a huge improvement from the hacked together rack I was using for a while. Not too tough to get a great end result that's exactly what you need.
Great video Jesse! The solid black interior looks great, especially if the rack isn't full. I'm looking to start building my first rack now and I'll be referring back to this video for inspiration
Happy to hear it! It's really satisfying to have all your precious gear held in a rack you built yourself. I've got two of these racks filled up here, going to have to build a smaller third rack to sit on top for some new gear that'll be on its way soon.
I don't understand where the 15 degree angle supports are in your build that your showed... I only see the 90 degree ones.. . are the angles not on the sides but the top?
Thank you! They call it "wine red", it's the same as a standard except in addition to the wine red tolex and wheat grill cloth it has a Jensen P12Q speaker (like in a 57 tweed) so it's a little fuzzier and raunchier. I use a variety of amps here in sessions, though the DR is the one I use most for my own playing typically.
Nice job Jesse. As good as any store bought unit. Your attention to detail with plenty of hints and tips is really useful. Thanks.
Your attention to, and respect for, the finishing work is most impressive. A knockout.
Man.. That came out really nice! Thank you for making this video - so many great tips!

Fantastic job man. Absolutely beautiful finish.
Great build, thanks for sharing. Love the soundtrack.
Thanks! It's all from my last album, which is free at jessegimbel.bandcamp.com, please take a listen!
Nice build!
Thank you! I’ve made a few rounds of gear changes since this video but still using both racks six years later!
Hey I like your content. Will Home Depot cut the measurements for me since I don’t have any tools?

You can use some old newspapers underneath the things you are spraying so you wont paint your lawn.
Nice video!
This was excellent. Man I'd love it if you did more of these DIY videos this way. Perhaps a DIY Argosy Dual 15 desk build? eh???
