This is a vocal up, single track, single take version of Luminary taken from our new album 'Sonder'. Recorded in my home studio 'Celestial Sound' The instrumental mix is not the same as the album and reflects my live in ear monitor mix - kick, snare and vocal strong.

Gabriel Cabana oh yes, for sure man! I saw them for the third time on the Sonder tour. They're easily the best live band I've ever seen, and their light show on the Sonder tour was incredible. Dan is the best live vocalist I know of as well. He literally sounds like he does on these videos, if not better, with the way he changes the melodies up :)
Gabriel Cabana yeah of course it's all subjective. For me, he's just got the perfect tone and natural timbre that in my opinion no one else can compete with. And Devin Townsend is actually a major influence on Dan!
That's how you recognise great artists. Truly, lots of bands cant play as good as on their album, some play as good live as on the album. But some bands, and those are rare, just surpass their albums live and just blow your mind.
This is fantastic, reached straight for my headphones when I saw it. Please never stop making music!

Like a bawss!!!
This song really grew on me I must admit. I was bummed out when they stopped playing it on the radio. I was unfortunately incarcerated, but fortunate to be in a unit near the city of Austin. So they actually had a rock station that would play heavier stuff. After that was another hr and a half of extreme metal. Then on every tue on one of their public radio stations was 3 hrs of black metal.
Anyways I looked forward for those 2 days of the wk. They really helped my time pass by faster in that godforsaken shit hole. My cellie didnt particularly like it because I was always listening to the radio if i wasnt at rec, working, classes, etc. I had seniority so he really couldnt say shit.
So one night I heard this song and I was like hmm thats interesting. For whatever reason I kept having images of a mage out of Skyrim Elder Scrolls was singing the song. Those flawless clean vocals that sounded really fucking good. Then the music also speaks for itself. I made sure to write this bands name down so I could immediately look it up once I was finally released.

Kyle Alfonso I don't think he would take offense to that at all. Saying you prefer a live rendition of a song is a HUGE compliment to a singer.
Kyle Alfonso Daniel also seems really open to constructive criticism, and an overall nice guy. I get a feeling he always wants to grow and improve himself musically. I really respect him.

Just saw you guys live at the Full Force Festival in Germany and despite the freakin hot as fuck weather all of you performed perfectly. I had to work at the festival, so I couldn't see any other bands, but i switched shifts to see you and it was absolutely worth it. I was one of the guys in the first few rows singing and head banging to every song you played. Thank you so much for the great experience. I hope I can see you guys live again as soon as possible. :-)
