I wouldn't call being down on power compared to anything on the streets today a huge problem. A 2v with cams and any supercharger will trap in the 120mph area which is enough to keep up with almost any N/A late-model car. Coyote rods and a budget set of pistons in a 4.6 will allow you to make as much hp as the blower and fuel supports.
My statement was based off stock form. That's why, we both agree that modifying these cars cures that problem.
I feel like the worst caviot with the fox and sn95 cars was chasis regidity. I’ve heard of people bending floor pans and tearing up torque boxes.

Looking to supercharge my 03 gt. What would a setup like this cost? Just want some extra power. Not really looking for coyote power, just want something fun to drive and quick
These kits are hard to find because they haven’t been made in years. You can find used Vortech kits around $2500.
How much power can a factory 4.6 bottom end take reliably

@@SN95Power would that be the same in my 2001 cobra and if so could I put a factory style terminator cobra super charger on it and be fine
@@anthonywithem2272 plenty of people have pushed these motors to 450rwhp and lived long. However, the tune plays a major role in this.
