I used to have a different perspective about Godfrey's approach to politics, I was naive, obviously judging him from a point of ignorance, he is a good guy, well done home boy, best interview ever, frank and honest, ppl may still say a lot of negative things about you just like what I used to say, call you with names, align you with the system, regime but it takes a lot of courage to admit and apologize above all finding God!

Awesome informative and inspiring discussion. Ive always been impressed by his clarity and frankness. The one thing that scared me was when he mentioned the possible collusion between the governing party and the opposition. That would be the sellout of all sellouts. The result could be the end of the yellow brigade. Could also magnify tribal lines. The lack of a plan or not publishing it if its there by the opposition is very suspicious. Interesting times ahead. This to me is last chance saloon for the opposition.

A very interesting interview indeed Trevor. Thank you. It is a pity that many people cjoose to ignore our true history or are ignorant of the fact that ZANU PF was a product of Mr. Mugabe who chose to depart from the vision and mission of ZANU which was formed in Gweru in 1964. It is not ZANU PF that fought for our liberation. It was primarily all youth of Zimbabwe and yet the very same youth are used to illtreat the general population. Tribalism indeed is a maladie in African politics.
For Mugabe to be appointed as SG in the original ZANU, it was because Ndabaningi Sithole wanted to have an ethnical balanced central committee. Mugabe was not elected but appointed by Sithole. Mugabe was then appointed because people did not vote for him. He had two votes - one from the person who nominated him and the other one from himself Mugabe. Godffrey I like what you have said about this aspect of the conversayion.
