Linkin Park has always been mostly Mike's band. Chester joined after the original lead singer left so Emily is the 3rd lead. With such a large catalog of songs that people are going to want to hear played live by the current lineup getting someone who "sounded" somewhat like the former lead was a no brainer. Yes, some people are going to be negative and that is okay. From looking at the stream data of the first two songs released(already surpassed any previous LP song for #1's on multiple charts simultaneously) this album is going to be huge. An analogy came to mind of when Brian Johnson and AC/DC came back in 1980 with Back in Black. He sounded similar to Bon but unique in his own way and that album was their best album ever.
of course she is not Chester, she is the new singer and she is bringing her own flavor of sound to the band, yes her sound might not justify to Chester voice but she is not here for that, she is here for the new chapter and she is a really good singer, she got a really good voice and if u wanna dig on her more go and check her old band "Dead Sara Band"

I had the same thought of Lzzy Halestorm as well, but whether a lot dont like her, she fits in. Sorry, but the New Linkin Park is trash. The original band cast too far and too dark a shadow. technically it was Mike's band, but every music fan knows the heart and soul of a band is the front man. That was Chester. If they had rebranded then maybe, but as they are its a hard pass. She sounds decent on a mixed track but her live voice leaves a lot to be desired.
