The 2024 BYD Destroyer 05 Honor Edition is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine producing 81 kW (109 hp). Depending on the trim level, the vehicle features one or two electric motors, resulting in a combined output of either 132 kW (177 hp; 179 PS) or 145 kW (194 hp; 197 PS). With a pure electric range of 120 km (75 mi), the Destroyer 05 Honor Edition supports fast charging, reaching 25 kW for a rapid charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 25 minutes.
In terms of overall range, the vehicle boasts an impressive cruising range of 1,200 km under a full fuel tank and full charge. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds, the Destroyer 05 combines performance with efficiency, with a fuel consumption rate of 4.6L/100km. The gearbox is configured with an ECVT system, contributing to a smooth driving experience.
The dimensions of the Destroyer 05 measure 4780mm in length, 1837mm in width, and 1495mm in height. As the inaugural vehicle in BYD's Warship series, which includes both electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, the 120 km model comes equipped with a 17kW DC fast charging interface and a VTOL mobile power station function, showcasing BYD's commitment to innovative and multifunctional mobility solutions.
