Why is it that Earl Palmer gets all the credit for the New Orleans sound drummer? There is hardly anything on youtube about Charles "Hungry" Williams. Palmer left New Orleans in 1957 for L.A. From 57 on Hungry played drums on all of the New Orleans Jams. Personally I liked Hungry's drumming much more than the short time Palmer was playing Little Richard & Fats Domino sessions. I realize Earl Palmer is one of our country's greatest soul drummers. But let's give "Hungry" some well deserved credit for the Cosimo New Orleans' sound!! RIGHT ON WITH THE RIGHT ON!
Thanks...Peace...BR
