    This was a really good, "no-bullshit" interview-all about the music and being a musician. Well done. Thanks for uploading this. :)

    Chris was such a beautiful, intelligent articulate man. I love listening to him talk. All the guys in the band are well spoken.

    That’s what I love about these guys - there’s no drama, no pretense, no attention seeking, no game playing, no acting like they’re superior to anyone. They are basically the same in every interview - down to earth, straight to the point, and honest to a fault. No bullshit, no dumb attitude. Just regular people who play music and don’t like the music industry very much.

    Soundgarden lit the match to exterminate the 80's hair metal scene. Thats all there is to it. It was a historical shift.

    • @MLCrow
      @MLCrow 3 года назад

      Soundgarden didn't exterminate 80's hair metal. Some hair metal bands still exist. "Grunge" (scene or movement or whatever) with Soundgarden was just a marketing operation too (with its peak in the 90's, 1st half), then was a time for numetal bands etc....So, based on your logic, mumble rap killed everything now.

    • @MLCrow
      @MLCrow 3 года назад

      Soundgarden existed before "grunge" was even a thing (before the use of grunge as a term). Jerry Cantrell & Layne Staley (before AIC) were in glam/hair metal bands. Layne (as a kid) used to play drums, he was a big fan of Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe). Whatever...just sayin'.

      @@MLCrow how was it a marketing scene?, Even as someone who wasn't all into Hair Metal it's clear thier music was authentic and true, how could the "Big 4" sell out with how seriously personal their music was

    • @MLCrow
      @MLCrow Год назад

      @@brianvillatoro6588 But there are many mostly unknown musicians or bands with great and seriously personal music out there. Why aren't they famous iyo? No need to respond me, just think. "Grunge" was about marketing in the end, dude.

      Of course he killed himself, dude. That's how you do it when you are trying to hang urself, you break nine of your ribbs and blood all over the floor with a seriously head trauma just to get up after you can barelly breath and get a fucking exercise band that stretch. Now, it's also not like he wrote one of the killer's NAME in a song and was always completelly crystal clear with his body language and facial expression every time... Right, Hunter Ben Shepherd? This Interview is also revealing a lot with both the man's body language. Yeah, bad can do some good exposing a lot of people and saving a bunch of lives, if they survive long enough. Craply, they usually don't... But shit ain't over yet! Time will tell.

      Benzodiazapines. Read the court files. He was prescribed highly addictive meds with NO oversight for months and months. Substandard medical care. The drug insinuates itself into a person's system, and affects judgment, perception, mood. The MD should be in jail.

      @@cyackulicno way man. The Whole thing was bullshit. The non-investigation. The TWO different explanations from Kirsten Martin. Vicky bled the “Chris Cornell Foundation for Ritually Abused Chidren” dry. Look at the timeline. Complete bullshit.
      The crime scene, yes, the crime scene was Obviously not processed. Martin was not questioned Nearly adequately enough. Then Chester??? C’mon man. Are you seriously That naïve to believe those shitty reports? His toxicology said nothing was out of ordinary. Chris had a Huge chunk of hair missing at that show. There was a a bunch of blood that should not have been. He was too tall to accomplish that bullshit narrative of an Exercise band,,, the door lock. Bullshit man.
