My only gripe with this hack is that it feels like there was third ending and additional dungeon planned, but the main creator wisely decided to cut it short when faced with burnout. It's already a 15-25 hour hack, I'm very pleased with what i played and the FULLY CUSTOM FINAL BOSS was pretty phenomenal!
The Ocarina of Time art style really has an ethereal atmosphere and grit and none of the other Zelda games have really replicated. It's hard to describe but it evokes the feeling of being in a dangerous world where you need to survive, that especially translates well to ROM hacks like this.

What a shame. The rest seems great (except I don't get how a bonfire would refill your milk bottle)
Here’s a rom hack suggestion. If you’re a fan of Thief or old school stealth games in general, I STRONGLY recommend you play The Black Parade. It retains that gorgeous gothic vibe and trippy level design of Thief, while also doing things technically that the original game couldn’t to make for some seriously surprising and distinct levels. The Black Parade should be fucking hailed as one of the best modding achievements of all time. Frankly, it surpasses the original games in SO many ways. Makes the sting of losing that franchise hurt a lot less.
It's a good idea to replay the base game before trying that. I hadn't played Thief in over 10 years, then when I started Black Parade it only took until the second level for there to be woodsy lord non-Euclidean architecture.

It would be ridiculously sick if you could find a way to spotlight a Zelda Classic quest. A lot of fresh, new Zelda-likes are waiting to be discovered, and the program has gone a long way from what it was in 1998. If you want a quest that encapsulates the modern magic of Zelda Classic, One Screen Gollab is a huge collaboration project with over 20+ contributors that was made one screen at a time, always exchanging hands to a different contributor. Tons of dungeons, 8 playable characters with unique abilities, and overall polish and cohesiveness that can't be denied; it may just be the best 2D Zelda fan game I've ever played for the simple fact you can throw eggs as Yoshi. There are tons of other bangers from this year as well, like Spell of Mudora and Nostalrul Plus, and there are many demos for some insane projects coming up like Crucible Crest. Without a doubt a quiet yet thriving community, thought I may be biased lmao
If you're interested in some NES hacks, I highly recommend checking out Castlevania: The Holy Relics, Rockman 4 Minus Infinity and Super Ale Bros. Redux. For Doom mods I want to recommend Godless Night, essentially it turns the game into a Metroidvania, and it works amazingly well in my opinion, and anything under the Doomer Board Project should also be great, some of the best ones I think are DBP 37 Auger Zenith, DBP 59 Zeppelin Armada and DBP68 Outposts of the Wasteland. Love the channel, discovered it this year and it's one of my favourites, thanks for the great videos
I like this hack. It's weird but cool. I like the world and dungeons, but feel like the objectives in the overworld are too inconspicuous. Also, they use the wall master enemy way too much.

i recommend Pokemon Fire Red: Rocket Edition. big story focus but still has some cool gameplay twists like stealing pokemon and a bounty system along with qol stuff from later games
There’s this really cool Star Fox fan game you’ll probably want to check out called Star Fox Event Horizon. It’s basically a reimaging of the 64 continuity using content from the other reboots. It’s really impressive what the guy was able to make. There’s a crazy amount of content. The creator UndyingNephalim/IceCreamMan got Krystal’s original voice actress to do work for his mod (mod for Freespace Open. This open source game, so it’s 100% free). It’s a lot of fun. Unfortunately, due to engine limitations you can’t really have on foot missions, so Adventures/Assault won’t feel right (he’s also cramming a bunch of stuff from Dinosaur Planet into the Adventures arc, which simply doesn’t work). There’s tank missions, but they’re super janky. A lot of the characters have UGLY faces (they’re well animated/expressive, but they don’t look right). The guy might also be a pedoman. Back in the day me made this cringe RPG Maker Zelda fan game called Time’s Menagerie. It’s a sequel to his Fallen Sage fan game. In it he made nude loli drawings of his kiddy waifu Saria (there weren’t any “details”, but that doesn’t make it any less disturbing. She was a clone who didn’t have any memories and looked YOUNG, so mentally and physically she was a child), he has sus stuff with underaged characters, and there’s this one part where this poor Zora woman has been gone for a few decades and was used by this octopus man against her will to breed an army of Zora Octoroc hybrids. In this Zelda rts he made later on he shipped an ambiguously aged Saria with a much older man, and when he was confronted about it in a livestream he gave the Ken Penders excuse that “it’s a backwards medieval world, and that kind of thing happened then”. Except unlike Ken Penders who left it at that before moving onto another dumpster fire this guy will go ON AND ON about how much better medieval society was from what we have now, and how we should go back to the good old days🤣. In his Gerudo Wars comic with art that looks like Ken Penders attempt at a Zelda manga on the official fan wiki for his Zelda setting it talks about how the Kokiri are “an immortal race of forever children”, and said that Saria (one of the previous mentioned children) is “heavily pregnant”. Insert my boy PPP screaming WOAH BUDDY then going on a righteous rant about sickos🤣🤮

Excellent hack, Final Boss had great design.
Vision Quest Fire Emblem
Way too big to finish in a day or two.
But it'a one of my favorites
Sonic triple trouble 16 bit if you're into sonic.
Final Fantasy 6 Brave New World and Final Fantasy 7 New Threat are straight improvements over the originals.
Try Andaron Saga. It's a Fire Emblem romhack that is EXCEPTIONALLY good.
Try out the Majora’s Mask recompilation or Waluigi’s Taco Stand 64 or Pokemon Sour Crystal.
I like this hack. It's weird but cool. I like the world and dungeons, but feel like the objectives in the overworld are too inconspicuous. Also, they use the wall master enemy way too much.
I beat Masterquest without a walk through because I am a 30 year old boomer
earned my sub!!! fire video
I would love another dark Zelda game I never beat any of them I'm currently playing Twilight princess on GameCube and I'm loving it I played Majora's mask could not finish it I ended up getting rid of my 3DS which I wish I didn't I would love for Majora's mask to come back maybe the mask can team up with another Zelda villain
Bro this is gonna be so good, I love your hack ROM videos so much! God bless ya and Jesus loves ya!
i recommend Pokemon Fire Red: Rocket Edition. big story focus but still has some cool gameplay twists like stealing pokemon and a bounty system along with qol stuff from later games
You got to do Zelda the crystal clocks.
There's even physical carts of these hacks. Do you need a modded console to play those?
Woah they put flappy bird in this game?
Oh good christmas marathon
How do you play these ocarina of time hacks? Im not very savy with a computer but my god out of all the hacks ive seen this is the one I wanna play the most of
Horror people doing horror things to other horrible people in a horrible world... no thanks.

Fire Emblem Cerulean Crescent as my request,It has been pretty fun so far !
if there is one thing i dont like about sands of time its how jank some of the puzzles are...
I highly recommend the Pokémon Legacy series by Smith Plays Pokémon! It’s a series that takes the first 3 generations of Pokémon and enhances them while still remaining as faithful to the original game as possible. It’s amazing how so many minor changes brings out the best in these old games and I highly recommend you play them even if you don’t like the original games as it fixes almost all of the issues I have with them while still being the original games at their core. Pokémon Emerald Legacy is releasing on the 12th so if you want to be topical and review something new there you go!
Bane's only covered Pokemon once so I would not count on it (IIRC he said that it doesn't need it compared to the vast majority of romhack and fangame spaces)
Castlevania Levar’s Chronicles 1 and 2
Thank you for the video.
Whats H Doom it sounds like fun for the whole family.
What makes you say this? I don't follow Zelda games so I'm genuinely unsure
I'd wager the 9 minute video explains it
@Gamxin thanks
