I'm so happy for you Sis ❤ If you can, keep the children in daycare at least one day a week, so you can have that Destinee's mental break for yourself.
Wow…I’m catching up..but first thing first, this look EATS DOWN!!! So PRETTY!! Yes Mam’ to the always putting God first and everything falls into place! Life be lyfing honestly..you are someone I look up to, I’m so glad you’re transparent and honest! This channel is so refreshing, i am done with the marathon 😩 (still recovering 🥴)and now I get to binge watch my favorite channel and catchup! Thank You 🥹❤, You’re such an Inspiration in so many ways! You are truly Admirable and such a Gem! Chile why did I cry when you spoke about your job dynamic, because it really is rare! Again, THANK YOU 🙏🏾 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@Lissa_Tee hey Lisa boooo!!! How you been?? Thank you so much! How was the marathon!? Omggggg I want to run three 5k’s this year! Give me all the tips and tricks you know! Omg you are so welcome. I’m glad I can be a light for others, and talking about my job makes me cry those are some wonderful women I worked alongside.
@ To be honest I started waking then it turned into this running thing. I signed up originally to focus more on health and weightloss so I could train everyday. At first I had no intention of going through with it, just needed something to motivate me, it did just that. I use the Galloway’s Run/Walk method that is great for preventing injuries. I started doing many 5ks before then, (the fun ones of course) and it went from there! Never in my life I thought I could do something like that, literally had a mental breakdown at mile 9 telling my husband I wanted out, but he told me that this is a mental game, not physical so yeah although I limped over the finished, I still finished. Overall I just needed something to motivate me more. I would sometimes cry before my training runs because I wanted to stay in bed, but I made myself do it! Then I would join these Nike App Challenges that kept me accountable. Do it, although running is not the best weightloss sport, I lost 40 pounds. (The strength/core training goes into it) I did all this at home as well. Just out in these streets fighting for my health back cuz ya girl love them gluten free Cheetos a little bit too much 😭 Best advice start slow, pick out a few 5ks and go from there. I’m not the fastest runner in the world but something about those shiny medals add to my Black Girl Magic ✨
I love that you’re relearning yourself/your needs and fighting for your happiness rather than settling for chaos. You’re glowing and have such a refreshed energy in this video! Ebbs and flows, sis! You truly are an inspiration and as a fellow working mama, I am proud of you for honoring yourself and putting in the work to find that balance 🤎🥳
I’m happy for you! I’m grateful to have a spouse that doesn’t mind me being a stay at home mom. I have four kids, but I have two under two and that is so hard. It’s hard for me to be away from them. Plus she’s making sure Home it’s taken care of than my older two who are middle schoolers it’s just wild. So I totally understand.
omg we are literally in the same boat. My spouse is the same. Im super grateful that we can survive off of one income and having two isn't a necessity but a want. I heard those middle school years are rough lol. Mine are still in elementary school and they are giving me a run for my money! Also 2 under is soooooooooo rough lol I ready for this little girl to turn 3 because the way she tells me no is CRAZY lol.
This sounds like my life right now!! I feel like life is spinning around me & my life is just kids & work! I feel like I’m neglecting alotta things also! But I’m slowly trying to get better at it! I’m back in church regularly & feeling better but still a ways to go ❤
@@miamitoya6944 I was right there where you are. The transition took 4 months for me to fully come out of the spin of life. And with the help of my supervisor and the leave of absence, consistent bible study, therapy, filling my own cup i’m ALOT better. You’ll get there in due time be patient and give yourself some grace. You got this!
Thank you for this video! This is confirmation! There are moms in my circle that I have been questioning Jesus about how to help and you just helped me help them.
Awesome video!! I had to make the choice to leave my job of 20 years about 4 years ago. I live with my then 70 something mother. I was her primary caregiver and I worked full time. I had pushed myself so, until I honestly thought I was gonna lose my mind. God first and family second as you stated. I’m proud of you for making the difficult choice to leave so you could get a handle on what matters to you most. Keep moving in the right direction and God will continue to bless the efforts of your hands. 🙂
thank yo so much for sharing. Im sure that transition was much harder than what I experienced but I commend you for taking care of your mom . Parents do so much for us in our youth that we could never fully repay them, but you did that and for that sacrifice alone God has truly blessed you and your family!! thank you again for sharing love!!
Thank you for sharing this. I feel like I related so much. I’ve been a SAHM since May and it’s so challenging I’ve definitely lost myself in it and I’ve been talking to my bf about going back to work because it seemed like I had more of a grip on life before being a SAHM. I was at my job for 8 years before leaving and I just feel lost in life right now.
Chantezzy!!!! since May and you aint tell me!! Losing yourself in 2025 is no longer an option. Do some of the things you use to do before you had baby boy. You aren't lost call me WE GOT THIS!!! you dont have to struggle in silence like I did.
@@jacquelineallen9275 thank you. I start back on Monday. Not looking forward to it like I said but the goals still need to be reached! You’ll see the kids soon! ☺️
Thank you for this video!! I was going to ask you to make a video on how you are doing it. Bc it’s so hard being a military wife and you’re wearing so many hats. It’s so hard to balance life. When you don’t have family around and your husband basically sold his soul to the government 😂😂 But we got this!!!
