Crow probably thinks he can reason with a different side of Savathun. A human side. Did she not have a moment of familiarity or something while being within the city? She almost enjoyed the kindness she was shown i think and it was foreign to her.

Yeah savatun after clapping her cheeks will be our buddy and we have some new hive guardians in our ranks hopefully
I'm sure every species that got extincted would have loved some of that kindness
Yeah I'm starting to think she will be a sort of Loki. Mostly in it for herself, but helping the city against Xivu Arath and the pyramids. Would love if the campaign is fighting her forces of light hive in her throne world only to find out that she did in fact not cheat, and the traveller chose her and her brood as worthy.
Yeah. Her evil will go to her head, but I can easily see a What If alternate timeline where she actually goes full on good guy and helps out. Besides, she spent an entire season not being recognised as a fake (Season of the Hunt), and only roughly during Chosen was there any evidence, and only because he was doing some strange things. In Splicer it basically confirmed it.

The thing is, though, Crow is right.
Dude has been dealing with hostile guardians for nearly 3 years before Spider caught him and eventually we got him accepted into the city. He's used to being broken by titans' electrified fists, shot by hunters' fiery golden guns, and disintegrated by warlocks' magic.
Petra's knife will hardly be a tickle compared to what he's been through

I can say from personal experience that after you've experienced the pain of serious bodily trauma of the type that (normally) requires surgery and months of healing, minor wounds are barely noticeable. And unlike Crow, I haven't had the misfortune of feeling stuff like slowly dying of a chest cavity crushed by burning hammer
Sure, you'll still feel the minor injury, but you've got a whole 'nother frame of reference past that.

There was a lore tab where " Osiris" asked crow to bring him dead ghosts... so yeah, he is the reason, actually.

Crow and Ikora had a conversation last week regarding that, Osiris asked Crow to get spider's stash of dead ghosts in the tangled shore.

For real though, and with us standing right there had she actually tried anything she'd be dealing with crow and the most powerful guardian currently around, those corsairs ain't gonna do much to save her from what she'd get at that point.
I can just imagine our guardian exhausted from the doing the missions to fix someone else’s mess, and wanting to get lunch with crow and walks in the room seeing Petra and Crow fighting.

finally the rocket launches at Savathun, Mara Sov tries to stop you with her magic but fails as per usual. And the rocket destroys Savathun’s crystal shell and somehow it saves Osiris, who is waking up from Savathun clutches.
Guardian: Osiris, OSIRIS! Eyes up!
He wakes up, guardian procedes to slap him across the face. And carries him to the portal. Mara tries to stop us ones again but even a slap on the face was enough to prevent her from getting in our way. The slap was so hard that it can be heard all around the room, echoing.
Guardian: Finally, peace.
The guardian walks in the portal with Osiris. Using the portal, we’ve reached to the helm. Both Petra and Crow look at us carrying Crow is awe and scared; they hear a dark souls boss music while staring at us. They knew from then on the Savathun was destroyed.
Guardian: I have killed all forms of gods. I’m hungry and pissed and tired of Mara’s Bu!!sh!t.
Just now noticing that after Crow asks "Why do you have such a problem with me, Petra?" she looks directly at the player.
She actually looks more downward. She feels guilty and is feeling a lot of mix emotions.
I honestly think it would be great if she was so mad she admitted something like “I killed you once” and immediately regretted it, I think it would make for great tension between the crow and everyone and further savathuns disruption

That’ll be fun, like everyone else I saw Savathûn as a threat to humanity and their allies, but she is trying to free herself from her worm and survive the threat of her sister, Xivu Arath, we’ll probably get more of her point of view, i think that they’re trying to show us that Savathûn isn’t a simple villain, i think it’ll be like the enemy of my enemy is my friend, Xivu Arath wants humanity and Savathûn dead, so they can make a deal, defeat Xivu Arath with their combined efforts

This is what she wants to see. Our alliance with the Awoken and possible within the Vanguard torn apart because of Crow.
I would honestly think she doesn't always try to decieve, as it would make her less likely to decieve. The more probable case is that her deciet is woven with truth. She does not lie, but she weaves facts with your opinions to distort the "truth". Especially since this season is specifically where she removes the worm within her, which is going to be relevant to the events of Witch Queen.

Times like this I wish our guardian had the ability to speak and interfere.
Crow was definitely wrong to call out Petra and her dedication to the war in the dreaming city. My god she essentially got told to fight an un winnable campaign for years watching countless subordinates die to extra-dimensional, possessed, demons and constantly reanimating zombies. The sheer stress of the deaths and mental anguish of ‘what if’ in hindsight, scenarios is gonna eat away at anyone and leave a very raw and painful wound. A wound Crow just took a callous and calculated stab at to spite her in the most childish way possible. Most lesser people would’ve probably just seen red at that point and threw a punch (or their knife).
Likewise Crow is a guardian, he’s a brother in arms, and you don’t tolerate threats to your comrades even between them. Petra just crossed a very clear and absolute line. You can argue the stakes are lesser given guardian immortality but that knife should’ve been yanked down and away IMMEDIATELY from crows neck by a very pissed off immortal agent of the light/dark. Idk maybe my personal experience is biased but I know that in my units, threatening someone like that is a quick way to get a beat down and ostracized by the entire company. If you’re lucky you’ll be booted out by whatever reason an NCO/ Officer can dig up and if you’re not, well, court marshals and barracks justice do exist.
On those last couple lines... This is functionally equivalent, in terms of power structure, to General Milley putting a knife to a hired gun's throat. I don't think the same rules apply in that way, but also, the gun's immortal so he's not gonna be intimidated the same way you or I are.

Doesn't help the fact that Mara admitted she can manipulate and pretty much mindcontrol people by implanting false memories. (How she talks about Uldren and how she still sees the Crow as the same.) Wouldn't doubt the compass or Mara in general trying to return him to how he was. What bugs me is Petra acting high and mighty because Mara id back. The Awoken in general have tbis air of nothing is wrong and we aren't at fault for anything, your more a bother than a help.

The bigoted attitude if Mara's is getting old and wouldn't be suprised if she does end up getting stabbed in the back. (Literally Savathun's weapon of preference is deceit followed by a dagger.) Plus Savathun never specified if we would be getting Osiris back in one piece or alive. She left it vague and said she'd give him back if we helped her. But she never said he was alive.

To be fair every character in the in world cutscenes do that, guardian or not, it's just how they exit scenes, and as for ghost proximity, Drifter keeps his ghost very far away in a secure place so he can be revived safely after danger is gone to reduce the risk of his ghost being destroyed

Petra has killed Shaxx before and spared his Ghost, she knows all about guardians and could have killed Crow and Destroyed Glint. People seem to forget she is vastly more experienced than he is. Lightless warriors like her are fully capable of murdering a new light guardian who has been riding the coat tails of more experienced guardians.

There are already a lot of dark guardians in the lore. I'm pretty sure using stasis makes you a dark guardian, just not inherently evil.

These new third person cutscenes are honestly getting old, sure it's nice not to have the ghost speak for us, but at the same time there have been so many moments recently where I wish our guardian would have said something. Even something as simple as just a no voice text selection screen to choose our response, anything to let us feel included in the story rather than just have us stand there gun in hand doing nothing as crow is threatened at knifepoint Infront of us...
In my opinion? This was Glint's time to shine and I'm glad the Little Light found his voice.

We hear Savathún say that the crystal prison protects her from physical harm and her worm's hunger. But who knows, could just be another lie. Anyway, if this is true then Savathún will most likely tell Crow the truths as to why she did what she did. Highly unlikely given her title.
Okay, so elephant in the room. I know Glint is a genuine ghost, bit have we totally ruled out the possibility that Savathün is the one who made Crow a Gaurdian in the first place? She has the ability next season and with the amount of power being thrown around and destroyed at the end of Forsaken, I dont think it's much of a leap. After this season, finding out who he is, and realizing why he's been treated so poorly time and time again, Savathun reveals shes the only one who ever really cared for him.. even so much as to give him another chance at life. A gaurdian born of light stolen from The Traveler
Glint was a ghost long before Savathun started rearing her head behind the scenes. He'd been scanning for his guardian out on Mars about a hundred years before the start of Destiny.
