"Father Knows Best" is a pretty decent 'credit' to her career.

That Away In A Manger scene was one of the best in television history.

Very gracious person-deflecting credit. She was PERFECT for that role.

My god was she beautiful on the Andy Griffith Show! She had an amazing presence too. A combination of strength, and vulnerability that was uncommon in that era.

She looks so natural. Not "movie-starish" Which I mean as a compliment.

I have always liked this woman-even in her heyday. You can tell she is a genuine real person and not some phony. Always a beauty, inside and out, and still looking very attractive here in her late 70s.

I have always wondered why The Andy Griffith Show, in all those years, only created one single Christmas episode.

I always thought that Andy Taylor should have married Ellie the druggist not Helen Grump. No offense to actress Aneta Corsaut, it was just her character.

She was perfect for the Andy Griffith show. Peggy was good too. Really did not like Helen Crump.

Elinor was a very good actress, from Father Knows Best to TAGS. I always thought she was the 2nd best girlfriend for Andy (Peggy - Joanna Moore would have made a great wife for Andy) and Elinor was also in my favorite Star Trek episode "metamorphosis"

Such a nice lady on Andy Griffith and Father Knows Best, but on that episode of Star Trek she guest starred in, she was such a heartless and bitter person in power that was soon revealed deep down inside as a very lonely, distrustful, and hurting woman.
