@@Sunni_days We bought a Nautique 23. I believe its a 2019. Question? Which board are you using in this video? I see its not the Hyperlite Landlock from your other videos. Also if they come with 3 fins do you recommend using all 3?
Where are you located? My wife just cant seem to get up but after watching your videos, she said I need him teaching me. You’re an amazing teacher and explain it so well!
Great question. I need to make a video about this... 1.The best ways that I determine if they are right foot forward or left foot forward is ask them if they have done any board sports, snowboarding, skateboarding, etc. If they have already done a board sport then they know what foot forward they have on the board. A scooter also works for this method. 2. If they haven't done a board sport I ask them how to do a cartwheel. You put your feet in a specific. way when you do a cartwheel 🤸. You use the same foot position on the wakesurf board. 3. The push test - I have the person stand facing away from me and I push them in the small of their back. I push them hard enough that they need to take a step. The foot that they step with is the foot that they have on the back of the board. If someone rides with their left foot forward they are a regular rider. They typically ride on the left side or port side of the boat. If someone rides with their right foot forward they are a goofy rider. They typically ride on the right side or starboard side of the boat. Madi was a regular rider so she rode with her left foot forward and was on the left side of the boat.
Great job Blake! I try to incorporate your techniques as they are nicely repeatable. Did you go north somewhere? We just picked up a foil. Ooof, learning curve seems a little rougher than the surf board, lol.
Thank! Glad you can implement some of my stuff. I hope it’s helpful. Yes, the foil is tricky…knowing how to surf and being confident in your abilities can really make it hard 🤦. This one was shot in California at the 2024 Centurion photo shoot. This was midday when we had some down time, so we decided to surf 🏄♂️ 😜
Congrats on the purchase! What boat did you purchase? Normally I will swing an Amazon affiliate link for a board recommendation, but I didn’t find this board on Amazon. Here is the board I own for the size range you are referencing: www.liquidforce.com/products/2024-wake-foamie-fish-48-wakesurf-board
No problem! I normally run a 20 foot rope. It all depends on the boat, wave and tower. You want the rope long enough that they aren’t right on the platform when they are getting up and short enough that when they’re in the sweet spot the rope isn’t hanging down by their ankles. Have fun trying and stay safe.
Your channel has helped me so much. I watched 1 of your videos last week, and road a wake for the first time last week. So helpful!
Boom 💥!! So glad I could help. That’s what it’s all about. Keep surfing and having fun 🤩!!
I’ve wake surfed for 2 years now and this is a great way to teach
bLake - Love your new boat!! I think your coaching style is great! 4 tries and the rope is being tossed is unbelievable! 👍
The new boat is pretty awesome. Madi did awesome! I agree, 4 tries and tossing the rope is pretty sweet 🙌

Sorry she can't seem to get up. Hopefully she learns soon. We are based out of Arizona. Where are you located?
Awesome
Love your videos but how fast should I go when I start to pull them up on the boat?
It should be a smooth acceleration. Speed should be anywhere from 10-12 mph.
Here a video that might help: ruclips.net/video/J5us55NsCrA/видео.html

@@Sunni_days Thanks!, got a new ATX 24 Type S. I’ve been on a few of the big brands, and really like this one for the price! Throws a solid wave
@J810MFG awesome! Tige/ATX build a nice boat.
What’s the rope you’re using and board? I like the length of that rope
Here is the rope I am using:

The board is the liquid force pod.

Im 280 lbs I can’t seem to find neutral zone. Any tips? What’s a good speed? Been doing 10-11 mph
Dude. Thanks for this video! How long do you run the rope back?
