Is this some fetish for life jacket lovers? Cause I am one and I plan to get my first life jacket for swimming in the sea in Croatia. But I don't see this funny or attracting at all and also it's a bit harsh for adjusting the jacket for the kid violently and just tossing the kid to the water like that. I don't mean to offend you and your kids buddy, it's just an opinion.

Brother…I just commented on another video. I’m a new subscriber. Then I found this video. The other video touched me because we are surfers and my wife battled and is still battling breast cancer. But then I see this. I have two daughters. And I’m a firefighter who’s held girls my daughter’s age after they have taken their last breath. There are no words to describe the feeling, but I can’t imagine what you felt and what you guys feel every single day. I appreciate you sharing your story. I believe you will see Sunni again someday. I’m sorry you feel like you need to explain and defend yourself here. I know there are people blaming you. You are not to blame here. You did everything you could to keep her safe, but somehow the accident happened anyway. There’s nothing you could have done. And if people don’t want to believe this then that is their problem-it’s NOT about you. Please don’t let people like that get to you. You have enough to deal with. There will always be someone who judges, but we all know who the ONLY True Judge is, and He knows this was not you or your wife’s fault. I’m so very sorry this happened to your family. I watched a podcast not long ago and the man who lost his son said that Jesus spoke to him after and said It was his sons time and He took him in the most quick and peaceful way He could. Not saying this will bring you peace but I feel that way about your sweet Sunni. He took her quickly so she didn't have to feel pain. I love your podcasts. No one wants to hear that it was their childs "time" but I love that you guys are using your terrible tragedy to help others. This is my biggest fear along with all parents, I'm sure. The work you're doing to honor your girl and help others is very admirable and I know she's so proud of you. So very very sorry you guys had to experience this. Give yourselves grace when needed. I can tell you are very loving and responsible parents. ❤

Hey Sunni - do you know how many blue drain plugs this T23 w/ 409 monsoon actually has? I've looked all over the internet, in the owners manuals, etc..... but can't find anything definitive. I've read 5 but other places say 7. My boat does not have a heater or shower.

I know boating accidents can happen a lot, and yes, it's sad, but ur daughter is still with u she is in ur heart she is safe in heaven with the Holy Spirit! God made a whole in everyone's heart, including u Blake and all of your family! God made that whole in your heart so that He can walk in there and talk to you, and you can feel the love of God when he walks into your heart! Just know that I will be praying for Sunni. It is not unusual for people in shock and in deep grief not to remember little details. It has happened to me. The shock provides you a cushion and wipes out your memory until you can handle it. You can think that Sunni is hiding behind he door again, and that someday she will jump out and you will see her again, both of you laughing!

Many prayers for your family. I am sorry you ha e to go through this. I admire you, Camille and Blake. You are lovely people who have such loving hearts. 🥰 I don’t know how I would deal with what you have been through. I love that you are showing others how to grieve in such a healthy way. I have lost many loved ones ( including a finance) and I wish that I had dealt with my grief as well as you are doing. I was in my early 20s, so I was not very mature. I would have loved to see your examples of grieving. Please remember many, many of us know in our hearts that it’s natural to feel guilty or embarrassed. We also know (by listening to you) that you are wonderful parents. Please try to focus on this. Many blessings to your family. I know you don’t know me. My heart and prayers are with you, however. I know how much it hurts.

I grew up on boats….my dad always had one. His first one was a 19 foot bow rider and his last was a 55 foot with a built in blender. Lmao. We made MANY mudslides on that boat. The one thing we did NOT do, was mix swimming, water skiing, tubing or whatever, with alcohol. I appreciate your comment about that because soooo so many people don’t realize the dangers there are in being sober and water activities. We also had a Wave Runner, and we were never allowed to drive that if we had a drink. Besides that tho, there are MANY things that can happen in open water. Accidents DO happen. And they can really change someone’s life in the blink of an eye. But that’s why they are called ACCIDENTS. Sometimes things happen. Bad things. NO ONE, and I mean no one, has the right to judge you regarding this accident. You already suffered enough. Shame on anyone that passes judgement. My thoughts are with you and your wife ❤

Do you have winterization video on that 409 monsoon Crusader?

Personally, Id like to see them banned. Im all for sharing the lake. But, as a fisherman, their waves beat the crap out of me. The lake I fish is about 18000 acres. No other boat on the water makes waves of this magnitude (including cruisers). At some point, there will be a death from the waves these boats create.

This type of fatal accident can happen to anyone. Your honesty is spreading awareness and helping others to navigate unimaginable loss. No parent should feel this horrific pain, but many do. I'm so sorry.

I'm so very sorry for your loss

I just spent the summer going through this and teaching folks like myself who had never done it before. This is probably the best start up video I've seen. Great job. I'm still picking up pointers but one I really like is mimicking a fencing pose when trying to catch the wave. It still amazes me how just looking at different parts of the boat speed me up or slow me down. It also took me way too long, to use my hips to transfer weight instead of bending forward when told to reach.

I have 4 kids, the youngest being a 6 year old girl. I am heartbroken, I can't imagine your pain. I am so very sorry.

Your story is moving. My one thought that comes to mind is I wonder how many lives have you saved by being so open and honest about your accident and drawing attention to safety. And hopefully by making these videos it also helps you to heal. We belong to a Jetski club here in Phoenix and we stress safety and the need to show respect to others in the boating community. Thanks for what you do by making these videos.

Can you provide me some advice . Which is better - to sell the boat from land or water? My boat is currently on the land (customers can see the bottom of the boat), but most customers are asking to put it in the water (it is complete to put it back if the customer won't buy it).

Thats awesome! I started wake surfing last summer( rented a boat twice) at 52y old. This summer we rented twice again and now just figured out how to stay on the wake. Did better then my 25y old son and his freind lol but i had 10 years of skateboarding. Hope to get my own boat soon

You are clearly trying to promote how safe of boaters you are. It was an accident but maybe an accident caused by you and your wife not noticing that your daughter's butt wasn't in the seat. Too much going on. Can you give up boating in honor of your daughter?
