I made this tonight! While it took a little time/effort, it was SO worth it! This is AMAZING! Even my hard-to-please SAD hubby loved it! DELICIOUS!! Will make again. Thank you Chef AJ 😊
What I do is take a butter knife and spread a layer of filling directly onto the noodle sheets before turning them over on the sauce layer. You get a nice even layer without trying to crumble / push the sticky mixture around on wet sauce. Works like a charm!
I love being in your kitchen watching/learning when YOU cook. This lasagna looks amazing- can hardly wait to try it. My book arrives this week!! So grateful for your gifts you share with us. xox
If you don’t like mushrooms, you need to check out Derek Sarno and Chad Sarno, brothers who are vegan chefs. Both do A LOT with all different kinds of mushrooms. I can’t wait to get my hands on some of the different kinds of mushrooms they use. 😋
This looks wonderful and I agree, aside from the cost and health benefits, not having to deal with oil residue on my dishes is wonderful! I don't have a dishwasher... I am one, so very aware of this. I will very occasionally use tiny amounts of toasted sesame oil in Asian dishes but even that little bit leaves a residue.
My husband and I love Lions Maine mushrooms. When they are cooked in butter with garlic they taste like lobster. We are now plant-based and do not use oils of any kind, follow Dr. Greger, how can we get our mushrooms to taste the way we like them without oils?
Chef AJ is cooking another fantastic recipe disappearing lasagne (an awesome name). Thanks for sharing this inspiring video and love 🥰 it. Love ❤ Chef AJ.
I heard you say that you’re allergic to soy, but you use miso paste. I avoid soy due to med interactions. Is there something different about soy once it’s fermented for you?

Chef AJ is the best! I love watching her cook. I always learn something.
I like the idea of using sushi or eggplant or maybe both rather than noodles. Thanks so much for sharing. Looks so good!!
Love these cooking demos. They're great. I'm not big on mushrooms either but I would like them this way.

Hi chef aj! Did your breathing improve after you move to the Palm Springs area?
Looks great! Where can I find the marinara sauce recipe?
The recipe for the marinara sauce can be found in the RUclips: ruclips.net/video/prNZtxYTIJs/видео.html
Chef AJ Where do I get the recipe to make the marinara in the instant pot? TY

I thought you didn't use nut in your recipes. What can you use instead?
Seeds or oats, depending on the recipe
What region of Italy does that lasagna come from or the inspiration is from ?
Why does that matter? It’s just a take on lasagna.
@@tofuneverbleeds well a take on lasagna isn’t lasagna is it ?

She probably uses chickpea miso.
@@kaepar Thank you! I didn't know that was a thing. I'll check it out.
@@mariandiaz6177 You're welcome. It's definitely a thing. 😊 I know because that's the kind of miso I use. I get mine from Whole Foods.
Did she explain the tomato sauce? Not sure how it missed that
I wouldn’t call that lasagna , I have a different concept of lasagna . Maybe a casserole.
That ain’t lasagna. It may be good and good for you, but not lasagna.
