i think what i get from dave, that i don’t get from a lot of other artists, is listening to dave you feel like you’re getting the experience of an entire person. a lot of rappers are very much “i do this and if you don’t like it, then you won’t like me” but dave isn’t confined to anything specific, and i truly believe if he was in america he would be the biggest out. there just isn’t much translation across the pond and it’s a shame.
