It's basically the British grammys. It's early in the year, jan/Feb. Usually the performers will be nominees/winners on the night. Says something about dave that when he's given a platform he chooses a?song that shines a light on other artists too.
You should deffo check out more fredo, start with his daily duppy one of the best ones (fun fact fredo was in jail with Dave’s older brother and they was friends before fredo and dave even knew eachother)
The Brits is our version of The Grammys. We also have The MOBOs (Music of Black Origin) which is our BET Awards. This, Dave's Black performance and Stormzy's 2020 medley performance are Top 3 imo!
The Brit Awards take place every year. Not sure how they decided who plays, but yeah it’s an annual awards ceremony.
Think one of the things for me he probably could of chose any song of that album to perform but he chose the one that gave his bro’s the chance too perform too

Great reaction. I really love this performance too. For UK rap it's more than just a stand out performance at the Brits because of who the other rappers are. Especially Giggs, the feds tried for years to stop his music career. Another one for the history books this.

Brits been going on for a while stll but only recently they been showing some love to the UK rap scene, they mainly ignored the scene before. I think Dave, Stormzy and maybe Dizzee are the only UK rappers to have performed on it ever, so it’s a BIG ting for the mandem, and they shelled it with the performances.

Another good performance from the Brits if you like a 'mash up' of styles is Dizze Rascal (grime/rap) & Florence and the Machine (indie-ish): you got the dutty love.
Listen to the crowds reaction for giggs even though he doesn’t have the same flow and energy as the other guys he’s a uk legend and this is momental for him because the police tried to shut down all of Giggs shows and end his music career so this is basically Dave giving props to his elders
