Guys you do not need to split the bottom ball joint off. Take the two bolts put that hold the strut to the hub assembly and there's room to get the cv out without removing the whole hub. You guys made this job so much harder than it needed to be.

For those that dont know there is 2 verients of cv axles for the cruze and sonic for passenger side.
    1. Half axle or buy the whole 2part version.
    2. Whole axle that do not split in 2 parts

This video is good for a newish car, but it won't work for a seized cv shaft in a hub on a 20yr old car. Also undo the tie rod end, it will give you space to remove the cv shaft. The way you removed the cv shaft risks damaging the oil seal, thus costing unnecessary money.
