    The DI sound lacks, well, resonance...
    The mic-ed sound has a lot more warmth and presence. Nice.

    You have the body listed as mahogany but no mention of the top? Is it also laminated? Seems like a lot of $ for a laminated top...

    Thanks John. I always associate resonators with being pretty loud. Through my speakers that one didn’t sound especially so. What was it like in the room? BTW, isn’t it lucky that Bob’s parents gave him Bottleneck as a a first name? It’s almost like they knew he was going to be a slide player!

      It is a pretty loud guitar but I'm not that skilled at recording acoustic instruments so I played it safe with the recording levels... I didn't want it to start clipping.
