Additionally, I'd like to remind you that Cap's uniform isn't spandex. It's ARMOR that distributes the force of an attack to lessen it. A pressure-point attack only works if it hits a POINT. Cap's armor would automatically nullify any PP attacks Bruce might try to throw. Next, regarding martial arts: DanCo himself says at 16:40 that Cap has the ability to learn a new combat style so well and so quickly that within one combat, he can master the form to a higher degree than his opponent who has been practicing it for years. This means that no matter how Bruce comes at him, he's going to immediately figure out all the counters and be able to use it back against Bruce at a higher level than Bruce is using it. There is a long litany of other reasons I could list, but I don't have all night so I'll just list the final trump card. Cap has designed his own form of martial arts that leverages his superhuman levels of strength, speed, agility, perception, and durability (all of which are much greater than those of Bruce) to their greatest combat advantage. In summary, it's SUPER martial arts. I don't care how many HUMAN-LEVEL martial arts Bruce knows or has mastered, none of them are better than SUPER martial arts. They're just not. Especially not with Cap's ability to master martial arts. He's using SUPER martial arts at an ultra-elite mastery level. Bruce just can't hang.

In order to adapt to a fighting system, you're going to end up getting hit no matter how smart you are. I agree the Batman would win. While Cap is a master strategist, Batman has contingencies on his contingencies. he's a master of reading his opponent and finding their weaknesses and using it against them. Batman's mind is as deadly as his body and is always looking five steps ahead while keeping the big picture in focus. this is why Batman is the best superhero in any comic because he can do all of this as just a human with no powers. he actually uses the greatest power of all, knowledge. knowledge trumps all powers cause if you know how the power works then you can defeat it regardless of how strong or powerful that power is.
Captain America WINS. Not only is he Physically Peak Human he is Mentally Peak human. This is not shown well in the comics but it is one of the things that makes him near unbeatable. He can & will come up with a strategy and the tactics to defeat Batman faster then his opponent. Secondly, Cap has a healing factor that is very significant. It does not equal Wolverine's but it far surpasses Batman's ability to heal. It is no contest. Captain America WINS.

Cap's closest counterpart in DC is Batman, but there is a night and day difference in physical and mental ability. During the Marvel DC crossover they faced off and Batman conceded that Cap could beat him. Cap never tires. He can & has fought continuously , non stop for several days. So what you have is fighter just as skilled as Batman, many times stronger, with unbreakable will power and who never gets tired. No shame to Batman but he is going down.

Interesting dichotomy here. Captain America has a MUCH greater moral code, but that has NEVER stopped him from killing when it was needed. Batman on the other hand has a code, and because of this is extremely restricted in killing someone with his own hands or power. However Batman lives in Darkness 100% of the time, while Rogers lives in completely the opposite... living a near 100% optimist perspective. Thus even if the 'gloves are off' and anything goes, Batman can go beyond just living in Darkness, but become it. Steve Rogers on the other hand, would always be encumbered by his moral code. If you remember the first movie, the Serum not only strengthens his body, but also his morality. (Good becomes Great, Bad becomes Worse). In the end for all intents and purposes it would be Batman beating Captain America because of just how far one is willing to go against the other. For Batman killing would be an obsession, while for Cap it would simply be a mission.

It would mainly come down to the exact scenario of the meetup, if it was a chance encounter Bruce would only have garbage on his belt as he doesn't usually kill anymore, even if willing to kill cap it wouldn't help if he had nothing good to use. IF cap could get close then obviously go for the unprotected jawline which no one ever seems to do, a few pops there from a super soldier and his face caves in, game over.
Batman when written properly is nearly incapable of beating Steve in a random encounter for the same reason he lost his only straight up fight against Deathstroke, he is outclassed physically and mentally in a tactical pragmatic sense, not in the genius level IQ sense. Steve is just better physically and it's not by a thin margin, Steve can warm up with a 1,200 pound bench press whereas for Batman that is a near max level exertion, when you look at the things that Steve does without gear, you know like making a HALO jump out of an airplane with no parachute, jumping from the top of sky scrapers and landing on the ground unphased, lifting a car overhead press style [2 tons casually], seeing bullets leaving the gun barrel millimeter by millimeter and dodging massive amounts of automatic gunfire from multiple directions without the shield and his mental processing power/reflexes in the middle of battle. These are clear demonstrations of Steve being obviously superior, the only reason people think this fight is close is because Batman has had an absurd amount of power creep and outlier feats over the past two decades. For a different example: when Slade Wilson took on the Justice League I don't take that seriously either, Wilson is a street level team buster at his best and has no business messing with class 50-100 tier characters. There are feats of caps that I wouldn't take seriously, for example him fighting evenly against Spiderman with the Iron Spider suit, it's clearly nonsense as good as Cap is, he is very outclassed by pretty much all versions of Spiderman. In my opinion people have forgotten what made Batman special in the first place, the fact that he is just a man in a suit with gadgets who has achieved his peak ability through hard work and dedication to his craft, when facing off against his normal rogues gallery it's very impressive to watch him excel within those limitations, when he starts giving a serious fight to a 10 tonner in random encounters I just switch off because it breaks the character immersion completely. My verdict is this: In random encounters with or without morals Batman will put up a fight initially but he will be overwhelmed/killed by Cap, with preparation time it swings the other way in Batmans favor.

Batman counters to Captain America’s shield, mostly depends on what he regularly carries in his utility belt.In purely unarmed combat Captain America should win the majority.He has the advantages in speed, endurance, reflexes, strength and power in strikes.He also has significantly faster thought processing.One cannot simply negate superior speed, with skill, one still needs to adjust to the opponents superior speed first. And this definitely takes time.Then once the adjustment is made the better skilled combatant can use timing to negate superior speed, but there’s definitely a limit on how much speed can be negated this way.For any supposedly normal human such as Batman.Given this Captain America should land first strikes and since he is comfortably above any normal human.He should be more than capable of KOing Batman quickly.

The problem with comic comparisons of characters is one day they can be listed as able to lift a planet and the next they somehow get subdued by Duck Tape. I have the old DC Who's Who and Marvels "Universe". These are comics in a series with just about every comic character listed in them and it gives height weight, origin and feats including strength, speed ect. Based on those Batman was listed as a peak Olympic level athlete who could bench press 800 LBS. Rogers with the Super Soldier Serum was listed at bench pressing 1800 LBS. It also states that he can sprint up to 60 miles per hour. As far as "fighting" DC states that Batman mastered like 180 different martial arts. Marvel takes a simpler approach and divides all the arts into categories labeled A B C D E might be an F not sure. Captain American has mastered all of those arts. Meaning they both are on equal terms when it comes to hand to hand combat. I love both characters and I like how they both are amazing "fighters". Superman maybe super strong but if you gave either Batman, Captain America and a few others 1/2 Sups power they would hand him his cape. So my take on it is this, in a cage fight Rogers would beat Batman to a pulp. He is an equal fighter who is over twice as strong, way faster and way more endurance. Prep time on the street Batman for the win, he is smarter, a better tactician and if worse comes to worse can launch a bat nuke.

I agree Captain America wins as well. He is physically superior in all categories. Fighting wise they both are good and some of the best in their verse. However, I would have to say Cap due to his superior strength and striking power. Bats has Cap in the intelligence category when it comes to more advanced things. Even though Cap is physically superior than batman, I will still give it to Bruce. Bruce has a ton of gadgets on his side and also his superior intellect. Yes batman is renowned for fighting foes far stronger than himself (Superman, Bane) but we are all overlooking one essential detail. He’s never fought for extended periods of time. Even if he could best cap in h2h, physically he will tire, fatigue will begin to kick in. Steve’s stamina is far superior, he’d win in a h2h effectively going the distance. Remember I said in a h2h hypothesis not under “anything goes rules”. Think Achilles vs Hector from the film TROY. Achilles was clearly the superior athlete between the two but hector demonstrated fighting skills that almost matched Achilles. He was able to go toe to toe with a Demi-god last longer than any soldier before him, he even drew the first strike. Slicing achilles’s chest armour, in the same manor he did to his Patroclus, cutting his throat. In the end hectors stamina gave out, he grew tired and Achilles capitalised on this, defeating him momentarily. Same thing would happen between Bruce and Steve no doubt.

I don't think it's close at all. This is a no-contest in favor of Cap. Every advantage listed for Bruce is actually something that Cap also has, only better. Additionally, I'd like to remind you that Cap's uniform isn't spandex. It's ARMOR that distributes the force of an attack to lessen it. A pressure-point attack only works if it hits a POINT. Cap's armor would automatically nullify any PP attacks Bruce might try to throw.
Next, regarding martial arts: DanCo himself says at 16:40 that Cap has the ability to learn a new combat style so well and so quickly that within one combat, he can master the form to a higher degree than his opponent who has been practicing it for years. This means that no matter how Bruce comes at him, he's going to immediately figure out all the counters and be able to use it back against Bruce at a higher level than Bruce is using it.
There is a long litany of other reasons I could list, but I don't have all night so I'll just list the final trump card. Cap has designed his own form of martial arts that leverages his superhuman levels of strength, speed, agility, perception, and durability (all of which are much greater than those of Bruce) to their greatest combat advantage. In summary, it's SUPER martial arts. I don't care how many HUMAN-LEVEL martial arts Bruce knows or has mastered, none of them are better than SUPER martial arts. They're just not. Especially not with Cap's ability to master martial arts. He's using SUPER martial arts at an ultra-elite mastery level. Bruce just can't hang.

Cap's closest counterpart in DC is Batman, but there is a night and day difference in physical and mental ability. Captain America has a MUCH greater moral code, but that has NEVER stopped him from killing when it was needed. Batman on the other hand has a code, and because of this is extremely restricted in killing someone with his own hands or power.
However Batman lives in Darkness 100% of the time, while Rogers lives in completely the opposite... living a near 100% optimist perspective. Thus even if the 'gloves are off' and anything goes, Batman can go beyond just living in Darkness, but become it.
Steve Rogers on the other hand, would always be encumbered by his moral code. If you remember the first movie, the Serum not only strengthens his body, but also his morality. (Good becomes Great, Bad becomes Worse).
In the end for all intents and purposes it would be Batman beating Captain America because of just how far one is willing to go against the other. For Batman killing would be an obsession, while for Cap it would simply be a mission.

Additionally, I'd like to remind you that Cap's uniform isn't spandex. It's ARMOR that distributes the force of an attack to lessen it. A pressure-point attack only works if it hits a POINT. Cap's armor would automatically nullify any PP attacks Bruce might try to throw.
Next, regarding martial arts: you yourself say 16:40 that Cap has the ability to learn a new combat style so well and so quickly that within one combat, he can master the form to a higher degree than his opponent who has been practicing it for years. This means that no matter how Bruce comes at him, he's going to immediately figure out all the counters and be able to use it back against Bruce at a higher level.
There is a litany of other reasons I could list, but I don't have all night so I'll just list the final trump card. Cap has designed his own form of martial arts that leverages his superhuman levels of strength, speed, agility, perception, and durability (all of which are much greater than those of Bruce) to their greatest advantage. In summary, it's SUPER martial arts. I don't care how many HUMAN-LEVEL martial arts Bruce knows or has mastered, none of them are better than SUPER martial arts. They're just not. Especially not with Cap's ability to master martial arts. He's using SUPER martial arts at an ultra-elite mastery level. Forget about it, Bruce. You can't win this one. Just go home.

It would mainly come down to the exact scenario of the meetup, if it was a chance encounter Bruce would only have garbage on his belt as he doesn't usually kill anymore, even if willing to kill cap it wouldn't help if he had nothing good to use. IF cap could get close then obviously go for the unprotected jawline which no one ever seems to do, a few pops there from a super soldier and his face caves in, game over.

Batman when written properly is nearly incapable of beating Steve in a random encounter for the same reason he lost his only straight up fight against Deathstroke, he is outclassed physically and mentally in a tactical pragmatic sense, not in the genius level IQ sense.
Steve is just better physically and it's not by a thin margin, Steve can warm up with a 1,200 pound bench press whereas for Batman that is a near max level exertion, when you look at the things that Steve does without gear, you know like making a HALO jump out of an airplane with no parachute, jumping from the top of sky scrapers and landing on the ground unphased, lifting a car overhead press style [2 tons casually], seeing bullets leaving the gun barrel millimeter by millimeter and dodging massive amounts of automatic gunfire from multiple directions without the shield and his mental processing power/reflexes in the middle of battle.
These are clear demonstrations of Steve being obviously superior, the only reason people think this fight is close is because Batman has had an absurd amount of power creep and outlier feats over the past two decades.
For a different example: when Slade Wilson took on the Justice League I don't take that seriously either, Wilson is a street level team buster at his best and has no business messing with class 50-100 tier characters.
There are feats of caps that I wouldn't take seriously, for example him fighting evenly against Spiderman with the Iron Spider suit, it's clearly nonsense as good as Cap is, he is very outclassed by pretty much all versions of Spiderman.
In my opinion people have forgotten what made Batman special in the first place, the fact that he is just a man in a suit with gadgets who has achieved his peak ability through hard work and dedication to his craft, when facing off against his normal rogues gallery it's very impressive to watch him excel within those limitations, when he starts giving a serious fight to a 10 tonner in random encounters I just switch off because it breaks the character immersion completely.
My verdict is this: In random encounters with or without morals Batman will put up a fight initially but he will be overwhelmed/killed by Cap, with preparation time it swings the other way in Batmans favor.

The problem with comic comparisons of characters is one day they can be listed as able to lift a planet and the next they somehow get subdued by Duck Tape. I have the old DC Who's Who and Marvels "Universe". These are comics in a series with just about every comic character listed in them and it gives height weight, origin and feats including strength, speed ect. Based on those Batman was listed as a peak Olympic level athlete who could bench press 800 LBS. Rogers with the Super Soldier Serum was listed at bench pressing 1800 LBS. It also states that he can sprint up to 60 miles per hour. As far as "fighting" DC states that Batman mastered like 180 different martial arts. Marvel takes a simpler approach and divides all the arts into categories labeled A B C D E might be an F not sure. Captain American has mastered all of those arts. Meaning they both are on equal terms when it comes to hand to hand combat.
I love both characters and I like how they both are amazing "fighters". Superman maybe super strong but if you gave either Batman, Captain America and a few others 1/2 Sups power they would hand him his cape.
So my take on it is this, in a cage fight Rogers would beat Batman to a pulp. He is an equal fighter who is over twice as strong, way faster and way more endurance. Prep time on the street Batman for the win, he is smarter, a better tactician and if worse comes to worse can launch a bat nuke.

I agree Captain America wins as well. He is physically superior in all categories. Fighting wise they both are good and some of the best in their verse. However, I would have to say Cap due to his superior strength and striking power. Bats has Cap in the intelligence category when it comes to more advanced things. Even though Cap is physically superior than batman, I will still give it to Bruce. Bruce has a ton of gadgets on his side and also his superior intellect. Once he realizes he isn't stronger than Cap, he will keep his distance by using gadgets and maybe even use Cap's shield against him. I will give it to Bats 6/10 times.

In my opinion, I think cap would win.. in the comics, there was a crossover where Batman even admitted that cap would beat him. Unlike Batman, Cap NEVER gets tired.
Also, if cap can see bullets, who’s to say he wouldn’t be able to see Batman throwing, or getting ready to use his gadgets? He could easily dodge after noticing what’s about to happen.
Cap can also jump at least 20ft in the air, if Batman was to throw poison gas at him, or smoke bombs, all cap would have to do is simply jump out of range. Yes Batman is Skilled, very skilled, but.. so is Cap.

Simply put he’s a super soldier and Bruce is just a man. An extremely trained individual who represents the peak of the human conditioning but due to lack of augmentation or enhancements Bruce can only go so far.
With the serum embedded in his DNA, Steve is faster, stronger, more durable. Yes batman is renowned for fighting foes far stronger than himself (Superman, Bane) but we are all overlooking one essential detail.
He’s never fought for extended periods of time. Even if he could best cap in h2h, physically he will tire, fatigue will begin to kick in. Steve’s stamina is far superior, he’d win in a h2h effectively going the distance.
Remember I said in a h2h hypothesis not under “anything goes rules”.
Think Achilles vs Hector from the film TROY. Achilles was clearly the superior athlete between the two but hector demonstrated fighting skills that almost matched Achilles. He was able to go toe to toe with a Demi-god last longer than any soldier before him, he even drew the first strike. Slicing achilles’s chest armour, in the same manor he did to his Patroclus, cutting his throat.
In the end hectors stamina gave out, he grew tired and Achilles capitalised on this, defeating him momentarily. Same thing would happen between Bruce and Steve no doubt.

With that being said, Batman isn't ordinary Peak Human and can stand longer than you think in a fight against Captain America.

DanCo is incorrect about Cap being like Deathstroke. The abilities and mentality, along with equipment greatly differs. The only common trait is yeah they're super solider experiments.
Mainstream 616 Cap is physically a little bit inferior to Deathstroke. He's vastly out gunned as well. Ultimate has a good advantage in physicality over DS and has better equipment in the sense that he's willing to use firearms and other weapons. Not to mention his suit is duralinieum. Ultimate cap is willing to kill like ult doesn't concern him.
I guess the real advantage that Bruce has is the one he always reeks of...PLOT ARMOR.
