@@proctiger4891 Except Hellbat defeats Darkseid, who has already been established by Death Battle to be far more powerful than the most powerful Celestial the Marvel universe has ever known, therefore simply that Tony's suit could CHALLENGE Celestials is no argument that it is more powerful than Hellbat.
I also don't buy for a moment that any suit Iron Man has ever possessed is capable of Multiverse+ damage output. This is a keen example of Death Battle's pained tendency to drastically overreach for the sake of the outcome they wanted to find. Like constantly comparing characters to black holes, a trait that only existed before we properly understood that wasn't actually a thing. Or, more aptly, when they used the often cited evacuation of a city by the Flash to declare him to be significantly FTL+ ... and patently ignoring that the very next text bubble clearly stated that he was sub-FTL, meaning that this is NOT an accurate reflection of the Flash's abilities and simply a display that the writer was very, very bad at math.
@@ninmastnunyabiz9404 the celestials are stronger than darkseid
What I dislike about Batman being featured in Death Battle is that they never allow him to wear his strongest suit: The Plot Armor.
Pattinson was using it for "The Batman", so he couldn't wear it here.
Oh damn😂😂 you did not just do that...
Then nobody could beat him. Not even the DBZ, One Piece, and Naruto universes combined!
Well that’s the best part about DB, it takes away plot armor and tests our heroes
Underrated comment here.
"This is it, Tony. No more armour. Just you and me, man to man" said by the guy wearing armour that could withstand a city busting bomb
I am sorry it's been 6months but Batman said it in his most basic suit, there is no way he would survive any blast in that suit!

I actually think Tony would have the edge if both were given prep time. Batman’s expertise is in detective skills, traps (both on offense and escaping from them), stealth, non lethal gadgets and weaponry, and deep strategy. But Iron man’s is in mechanical engineering, science, suit building, and very lethal technology. Basically this means Batman is well geared for incapacitating foes, but not to kill them. Therefore he never has much occasion to upgrade his suits to make them more protective and lethal as possible. And in a Death Battle lethality is a major requirement to win. Meanwhile Iron man never stopped upgrading and he has suits to KILL even the strongest of universal and even multiversal beings. And keep in mind Iron Man is just about the same as Batman in IQ so no one could really outsmart the other, so the winner can only be made by who has the most powerful suits, and Iron Man definitely has superior suits almost all of Batman’s. All in all I think there is no one in fictional history that doesn’t make better use of prep time than Batman, but in this case it would only make this battle more clear in Iron Man’s favor as his experience in technology creation and lethal expertise over Batman makes preparation easier.
The final batsuit my friend it can REWRITE IMAGINATION if they gave batman that suit he wouldve easily beaten iron man

As similar as these two characters are, they are also very different. I mean the difference can also boil down to their origins. Wayne enterprises has some level of tech and weapons developent, sure, but until Iron Man 1, Tony was living the warmonger lifestyle. Bruce doesn't have any suits that are "What if it was the standard Batman suit, but we made it as American as possible" while Iron Man has War Machine. Bruce honed his skills and prowess in martial arts and detective work, while Tony has been an engineer from day 1. One is a really skilled but human samurai, the other is a general leading an unwavering army. It is like DB said "Tony didn't even need to be there." Imagine if Death Battle hired Christian Bale and Robert Downey Jr. to voice both Batman & Iron Man.
Two Hollywood A listers? That's a good hundred of millions...
This battle plays Batman in a defensive position. He's caught off guard and left to a battle of strength using the weapons he's prepared in his own universe with no knowledge of Stark. He would've had a much higher advantage in an offensive strategy. Batman's major advantage to Stark is his stealth and skills as a detective. In a world where both of these men exist, you can believe Bruce would have been keeping tabs on Stark the moment he revealed himself. If in that world Bruce determined to take Stark out by any means necessary does anyone really think he couldn't? Instead of hopping in a suit to fight Tony, his better option would be to bring make Tony's suits inoperable with something like a powerful series of electromagnetic pulses and fields to cut off power to the suit. He's also definitely capable of creating a virus to infect them. But if he was really serious he would use some sort of paralyzing neurotoxin on tony while his guard's down. We're talking about batman here.
Well you looking form batman siad here yes we khow who he is but We are also talking about Ironman here they said Ironman is also a genius so if batman can make plan or Weapons for his opponent tony can do the same you really think iron man will going to sit down and let bruce make armor or a virus for Tony no if they are exist in the same universe tony will also going to make armors weapons plan's to beat batman and crate virus to destroy batmans arsenal stealth is not going to always work because tony have fight with stealthy and skilled characters before and he also have stealth suits if tony was so careless to let someone take him down with a virus or trap Dr doom and red skull could kill him any time but they can't because tony will see it coming all of that aside they said Ironman doesn't even needs to be their puting him self in danger so it comes down to the point were if this two whanted to kill each other how would win and Ironman have more powerful arsenal and more chance to win.
I am also on Batman side, I thought the same. But in my opinion, Batman has way more experience in battle, he's a strategist, he has also backup plans for his backups plans. No hate to Tony, in terms of intelligence in science I do think they are the same. But when we are talking in an actual fight, in equal terms, Batman is way better. Like Batman with the standards suit, could defeat fling villaines. Overall was a nice fight to watch.
The whole point of death battle is for opponents to get in and fight not allowed to have prep time at all. they use their equipment that they had in the comics or the source material and that’s it. No specialty gadget created to counter the enemy, unless they existed in their own world.
But according to comics its a fact that Tony's plans mostly fails and Bruce ' plans mostly works

I'm glad you mentioned that Tony didn't even need to be there.
I actually expected him to be piloting the suits remotely.
If we're going to have Tony not be there because that's an advantage he would have actually pulled Iron Man being who he is...
I'd say Batman being who he is would probably have a failsafe where he can at any moment threaten Pepper's safety knowing in this shared universe, Iron Man exists.
Bats is pretty dirty.
Batman could have done the same thing though, given enough time. Sure, he personally wasn't as advanced of an engineer as Tony Stark, but then again, not many were. He did, however, have the R&D department at Wayne Enterprises who could very easily figure out how to power Batman's Suit without relying on his life force or him physically being in it.
My opinion is: If Ironman and Batman were pitted against each other in a spur-of-the-moment fight with no time to prepare, Ironman wins, hands down, due to his technological edge. However, if the two were to fight knowing they were going to do so ahead of time, with plenty of time to prepare, then Bats wins, though it would be close.
Tony Stark might be a better engineer than Bruce Wayne, that's a given, but he's not a better detective, fighter, or strategist than Bruce, and it's really not that close if we're being honest. Batman, if given enough time to formulate a way to beat Tony's suits, would definitely win.

what I learned:
Batman + Hellbat = lose
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this battle is essentially Sherlock Holmes vs Moriarty: the former was a detective who implemented plans of action based on his detective work, the latter was a criminal mastermind who developed plans based on his predictions of human interaction/technology. Batman creates a gadget that stops a villain based on his detective work of said villain (be they God or not), Iron Man makes predictions of what his enemies might use against him/what technologies he wants access to, and creates future tech for every conceivable problem (Reality Killer).
So ya, Moriarty wins, as was canon for Sherlock.
Huh? Moriarty canonically only wins in the same way that Balrog wins against Gandalf... both falling from a great height, only the hero ultimately surviving.
1) Bad analogy. 2) Moriarty loses, and funnily enough because of Holme's superior knowledge of eastern martial arts.

I find it funny that Batman wouldn’t have a mech army of his own, a back door signal that not even Tony could hack as it would be placed in a system so vast and deep normal tech couldn’t find, or that Batman would have nano-bots within his armor with the ability to destroy other nano-bots. I gotta agree with the person in comments who said you made Batman more of a brute here than the tech mastermind that he is. Hell, I imagine Superman would have noticed the fight, no signal needed. Even the Bat Family including Ace should have appeared during that multi-brawl, with Batgirl disabling the nano-bots…
That’s cause… he doesn’t? He’s never shown that he does, so we can’t just _assume_ he has something like that.
They also have no prep, so even if he did have something like that, he wouldn’t have it on him all the time. Whereas Ironman can call his armors to him remotely.
Not sure what being a “tech mastermind” has to do with having to face something he’s never had to face before in a head-to-head battle with no prep. It’s not like he can make something on the fly to counter it when Tony’s throwing an army at him.
This is Batman vs Ironman, not Bat-family + Superman vs Ironman. It’s a rule that outside help is not allowed, cause then we’d have to account for Tony also calling up the Avengers. Which, though cool, is not the point of the fight.
I'm confused how batman ends up making these epic tech suits to fight gods
And then goes back to the suit that isn't even stab proof when fighting super-villians and gangsters daily
Good question, cause then there would no story lol
He has a suit based on what he thinks he'll need it for. I'd say the attempted stabbings are a lot higher than the successful stabbings. He won't wear a suit made to fight a God to beat up Bill who stole some money from an ATM for a sandwich.
@@karunara1579 He could at least be bulletproof and have spiderman level strength he still gets stabbed a lot lol
The suit is also a message. The idea of what a man can do. If Batman were in a suit that gave him the power of Superman, that would no longer be part of what he wants to represent.
If he always used his most powerful suits, there would be high risks he would kill someone by accident.

If we’re sticking to suits only made by the wearer, Iron Man wins this hands-down. When it comes to Batman‘s armored suits, he’s not the one who makes them. Lucius Fox usually is. Because of the MASSIVE Batman fan I am, I love how the episode isn’t really that biased. This feels like one of those 60-40 fights or something like that. IDK just as a Batman megafan I was surprisingly okay and actually very pleased with the outcome.
They are absolutely biased death battle is notoriously one of the most biased and wrong versus shows out there plus they didn't even give him the final batsuit which can literally rewrite someone's mind entirely so they're definitely biased
@@JackMcdowell-if8dwIf you must bring out a reality bending suit to win it isnt really a win imo. Iron man could easily bring the iron gauntlet with all infinity stones. But it diverts from the point of the fight.

@@android175 this battle was literally given prep time it was absolutely valid
@@android175 and if we're being honest the Phoenix Buster was destroyed by the Hulk and yet they still gave it to Tony
I agree with this outcome. Though in the case of the animation, Batman would be able to kill or completely incapacitate no suit Stark a lot quicker than that. Stark without his suits is helpless. But Stark never gets to the point of not having a suit because he always has more.
On top of all of the different suits, there's realistically zero reason for Tony Stark to physically inhabit a suit at all, he could just remotely pilot suits.
I think there is a good reason for him to be there: he was on board the Watchtower. The first thing he did was hack it to take control of it. Most likely, it's electronically shielded from the outside, so Tony would've had to go up there personally to hack into it by accessing it directly. Plus, by not going in person so he can see with his own eyes, he'd run the risk of Batman tricking the autonomous suit and make Tony think he was giving up control of the watchtower, when actually he wasn't.
Latency is a factor

It's a 100% true statement, Batman can ONLY use his BEST suits one at a time as he NEEDS to be in them, Tony can use MORE than one suit at a time because he can remote control them unlike Batman who needs to personally wear each one on one at one point in time. This fight was one sided from the start!

This made batman look like a brute force man while tony used the clever schemes. This should've been a genius mind v genius mind battle.
Batman needs a hell of a lot of prep time to actually keep up to the tech oriented Ironman. Any of the tricks that Batman would throw at tony that he usually uses wouldn’t work against a guy that has tech on him at ALL TIMES ready to counter anything.
With prep time the fight could possibly go to Batman. Possibly. In that situation it would be basically an undo reverse card battle 😂
But without prep time Batman couldn’t win.
@@coldermusic2729 Either could win. batman vs iron man should be a battle between minds. Not iron man with all the mind.
But it was, you just couldn't see it because they kept checkmating eachother so well.
Batman literally went straight to his trump card because he had no special knowledge about Iron Man to work with and it was clear his other options were already outmatched.
You can't just out-plan a near-total unknown (even if DC fans will scream otherwise) that has extreme destructive capability. Tony is ridiculously smart, but he's fine with following the philosophy of "There's no punch like absolute overkill", unlike Bruce who is far more interested in just managing to subdue his opponents (so they can come back and ruin everyone's day again... a la Joker and friends).
Batman is a character that is only prepared when he knows somethings coming. Bruce doesn't know Tony, therefore was unprepared. Also Bruce makes equipment specifically tailored for scenarios, Tony makes armor for certain scenarios as well but they are more vague which is why they are more effective. Honestly, how has no one caught any of this yet, the same story has been told for almost a century now.

They aren't full length movies that cover a period of four months in universe, so that the opponents can spend every waking moment preparing for the specific battle ahead. They're "these two run into each other, in their prime, in unexpected scenarios. They proceed to _immediately_ fight to the death - even if killing the opponent makes no sense for them. _(SEE: Superman vs Goku. Neither would ever kill the other, but... DEATH Battle.)"_

Tony is everything that Bruce is, times a hundred. Batman upgrades his suits and uses his armors to stop all threats across the universe, but Iron has done that from the very start. Prep time is the most stupid argument ever. Any character can get prepared before a fight, in a 1v1 with their standart suits Iron Man definetely wins.
But the point of prep time is ironman is a widely recognised superhero and batman is paranoid as soon as he heats about a man who has invented suits that even come close to ironman he will research and make a plan to defeat them and alter if he discovers new information batman would have a plan in place possibly even years before this fight. Yes everyone can get prepared if they k ow a fights happening but batman does it even if he has no reason to believe he will ever fight the person. He has contingency plans for every superpowered being alive in case he has to fight them

What I disagree with is that the Batman if he's aware of the multiverse & interdimensional crossovers & the power parties involved in them then being intelligent, highly skilled & trained as he is always two-three steps ahead should know and practically read Iron Man's next move and counter to a win.
They siad Ironman is also a genius so if batman can make plan for his opponent tony can do the same.
Tony has armors to counter anything bruce throw at him and also they said he dosent even needs to be their puting him self in danger shows how many steps his ahead and because they called each other by name dosent mean they completly khow each other.
He certainly could, but the problem is he wouldn't have a good way to capitalize on that kind of knowledge. You aren't given time to prepare or make stuff in a Death Battle, and he would need both to take advantage of that kind of thing.
Like, how's he going to stop something smaller than a cell from entering his body, ya know? There's stuff he'd need to make that happen, and Batman just doesn't have the means to easily create or obtain that stuff in the middle of a fight.

When Batman hit Iron Man with the Watch Tower, Tony got what he was there for. Tony won almost instantly.
Bruce doesn't make suits like tony, Bruce only had 1 suit and Tony has infinite. So being honest here Bruce wasn't made or prepared for this fight like tony was which makes this fight unfair. You picked a character with only 1 suit against a person with to many. not quite...sure, the watch tower was down, but with the combined forces of Bruce Waynes money, and all the other justice leaguers using their powers, they could probably build another watchtower in a month.
@@MidTierMenace777 I say it was even. It's not the suit that makes the man but the man that makes the suit. Tony could have been playing fair and never snuck the MK-53 into his blood. If he did then Batman would've won. Batman had tons of weapons including an armor that could fight a god but unfortunately so did Tony. In fact most of Tony's threats were godlike in nature and sometimes scaled higher. I.E. Thanos who took an attack that could wipe all life in the universe. Twice. He was more well equipped and always made a plan for even the most mundane situations such as being without armor and being forced to fight while jumping from armor to armor. Batman is a genius yes but he fights in accordance with what he knows of an enemy. He never met Tony so he doesn't know what he is capable of. Batman does in fact fight gods as well but at the same time his version of the God's don't often choose him to fight and just as well, are usually too strong for him to take a direct hit and live. His Arsenal DID omit one thing and that was the Nth Metal bat armor. The fact of the matter though is that even with that armor, there's no telling whether Tony would be able to hack it or not. Regardless of what they had up their sleeves though, a battle isn't about what someone has, it's what they can do with it. Iron man just knew he might have to do something drastic and wasn't above killing his enemy whereas Bruce definitely was. Bruce COULD have just beaten Tony by goading him out of the armor and beating him to death. But he wouldn't do that. Batman isn't a character that kills. The Batman that laughs on the other hand would have killed Tony in a couple minutes.
With Batman being compared to being near god-level multiple times in this episode, it brings back one of Tony's last lines in the Death Battle with Lex Luthor:
"All this time, I haven't been playing God; I've been playing human"
personally id just like them to have a conversation
Batman is honestly in my top 5 favourite characters of all time for me, it's a shame he's not that strong in 1v1 matchups, but atleast even I, a calm batman fanboy, knows Ironman slams lol.
