aww man bro i know exactly how much work you did, last summer i built a 6.0 cammed blazer all by myself not a single person helped except for the exhaust and he screwed that up so i need to take it and get it done right.im still working on it,its a lot of work.i had to take the transmission out TWICE this past two weeks due to a racing clutch that was screwing things up,so im sore and tired right now,the next summer and im still working on it.when i saw that nitrous i was like oh dude no man.damn.i wish i could trade seats with you haha i have brand new corbeau seats and i want the original blazer seats but i cant find them.i dont fit right in these racing seats im too big,but anyways.good luck to ya truly heart wrenching to see this.people that do these LS swaps think it doesnt cost anything.i sold my sports car and started off with 15 thousand dollars and ran out, like i said im still not done,i had to borrow to get a new transmission,i see your in fl,im in tx and its a 100 % humidity outside,no breeze at all,i live in some deep woods and my garage is like a oven even with fans running and its only june 8th,i am fixing to go out there and finish up some stuff.so its literally blood sweat and tears, but to see it all burned up and then some one pop a remark off, thats sorry shit.take care man.best of luck to ya ok man.
Sick build bro. I thought I spent alot!! After seeing this the 8k I put into my 2001 extreme is nothing. 290hp 315 torque stock 2001 5.3 with bolt ons.
@@waynetessier3058 its coming along i swapped a 283 small block and th350 into it so its driveable. Hoping to build an ls this summer for it 🤞. Itll need a cage still
Wow I am working on a very similar project with my dad and we have a 97 s10 literally the same color and everything. What did you do for a rear end? I also live 10 minutes from BMP haha. Hope to see it running around town one day soon!
Yep direct bolt in. And it came with disc brakes witch is a plus. Best advice is use good parts to save headaches. The build is pretty easy and straight forward. If you have any questions just let me know.
Thanks man and ya it’s going back together slowly but it’s going lol and ya I’m not a fan of them either but that’s all I took was photos and had a couple people ask about doing it so I did
We upped the jets and adjusted the timing but didn’t up the activation point cause I was trying to get the truck out of the hole and my 60 foot down and ya that was a mistake lol
I see you have a deep wallet you going to have to have a dozen 4l60e's to pay for that trans wont hold up regardless of who built it. Th400 pg or 4l80e only way to go.
Finally a quiet exhaust system lol it doesn't need to be loud to be fast lol
wow was not expecting that at the end. Hopefully its all getting rebuilt soon
Ya neither was I.
its because all the elevator music in this video
@@airraptor lol
Cool build, hated to see the end of it
DANGER TO MANIFOLD!!!!
you almost had him...
Clean LS installation. Sorry about the nitrous backfire. Hope you get back running again soon.
Sheeesh i was so happy for the finished product then the end of the video hurt me to my heart
Even further reason to stay away from nitrous. Put a single turbo on that thing and let it eat. More reliable and friendlier power for the engine.
Yep that’s what is going on now about to make a update video on it
At least you got a free cowl hood out of it
Yes this is true. Lol

Wow nice build hopefully you can get it up and running again
Thanks ya it’s about to go back together just waiting in a couple more parts
Well damn Time to come back with a vengeance
I like the Sdime.
Thanks
That sux bad a lot of money and a short run for it before the nitrous backfire and severe carnage I would have been devastated
Ya it really sucked but been rebuilding
Awesome 💯🔥😎
I love the seats... I have to find me some
They are 2 door blazer seats and picked them up from a pick and pull junk yard
Awesome truck man
That hurts to watch. At least you got it on video.
I wish it had a/c 💵💰😎
That’s a very clean build, about how much was the overall cost if you don’t mind?
oh I commented too soon rip fast intake
We got the same truck and mine also can’t with a camper except mine is white and I have the 4.3L
7:38 No A/C I'm out . My 97 S-type down to fyte
Ready to see this truck back up and running, unless there is another project?
Nope getting back to it and starting to make videos on it again as we speak!!! Keep watching
@@runsgarage6813 Awesome! I look forward to it!
Nice going. Hopefully doing the samt thing to my 94 this summer🤞
Aww man the end broke my heart for yaa
Hello Josh was wondering how you are coming with your 94 build, i'm just starting my 94 ext. cab soon.
@@waynetessier3058 its coming along i swapped a 283 small block and th350 into it so its driveable. Hoping to build an ls this summer for it 🤞. Itll need a cage still
@@waynetessier3058 do projects ever really get done tho 😂. Thats the fun of em i suppose
@@Josh_D03 Not if you recognize them for what they are (a black hole you keep throwing money into.)
I felt your pain my brother
How did that radiator from superior radiator work out for you? Seems hot &miss judging from reviews
That's a tuff break now you need a 7875 rear mounted turbo an let the good times began best of luck to you
Keep watching something like that might just be happening very soon.
Nice!
You rock!!
ah man, so much work I hope you didnt lose much more than the harness
How much was you spraying? That was a huge explosion!!
That sucks...just the cost of replacing the intake and harness would put me out for a long time. What was the cause?
What happened? Looks like it backfired up inside the intake and just spread gasoline everywhere
That was a nice build. Did you get it all back together?
That sucks. All that work up in flames
ya it kind of did but rebuilding better and faster now.
Nice video, have you thought about a blower over nitrous? Or you just like the easy and clean setup nitrous gives?
I’ve actually done away with the nitrous building it for a turbo right now
@@runsgarage6813 oh nice, good luck man, it'll be nice to see the final product if you choose to share
What in the hell happened for it to come apart like that?! I know nitrous backfire, but that bad..? Damn!
Big dollars.
Hello was just curious how you are coming along with your comeback? I'm just getting started on a 94 ext.cab with nasty 1st Gen with nitrous.
Really awesome build man. Did you have to notch the frame at all for this set up (cpw mounts, ss works headers, gm muscle pan)?
No I didn’t have to notch the frame but it does help for sure. And yes the gm muscle car oil pan cpw mounts and the ss works headers
@@runsgarage6813 thanks for the reply i appreciate it
what hp did it make n/a? any head work or just cam?
No head work and like 400 before spray.
how did you keep the abs brakes ??
Stock factory cylinder heads? How much HP on the dyno?
Nice build 💪 did you use the original computer?
No the engine was a gen IV so had to use a different computer.
Nice build. You’ll have it up and going again I’m sure. Where in Florida are you? I’m working on do a ls s10 too. About to start soon.
Cape Coral. And ya working on the new set up now. Thanks
Cool. I’m up in Alachua near Gainesville. Can’t wait to see the upgrades. Maybe someday I’ll shoot down to see yours.
For sure I’m pretty sure I’ll end up at the track in Gainesville once it’s done to
You let me know when, I’ll make sure I’m there
@@Matt211881 I sure will
Roughly what would you say a build like that cost I already have the truck.
Google can tell you.
Nitrous backfire aww shit thats bad sorry to see that
What headers did you use please send me the link I would be very appreciative!
They are stainless works but I don’t think they make them any more
Wow I am working on a very similar project with my dad and we have a 97 s10 literally the same color and everything. What did you do for a rear end? I also live 10 minutes from BMP haha. Hope to see it running around town one day soon!
I got a 8.6 out of a 00 blazer 5 speed and built it. I live in Cape Coral so it’s a little further from there but not bad
Runs racing & reviews nice! Direct bolt in I’m assuming? Didn’t have to shorten anything? Any quick advice on the whole process?
Yep direct bolt in. And it came with disc brakes witch is a plus. Best advice is use good parts to save headaches. The build is pretty easy and straight forward. If you have any questions just let me know.
Runs racing & reviews I appreciate that very much. Thank you!
Did you have a Single piece drive shaft?
Nope was running a factory 2 piece that was cut and rebuilt
What power steering/alternator bracket setup are you using?
The corvette c6 set up
Sure looks like you removed a trunion upgrade to install a trunion upgrade, no good shots of #7 coil pack, what did you do with it?
It’s in the factory location of the truck coil packs and no I removed the stock needle bearings for the smith brothers trunnion kit
@@runsgarage6813 Did you get the factory speedo to work? If so any tips? thank you
Yes I did I was using a current performance wiring harness everything worked like factory even the cruise control
What happened??
Where did you get the wiring harness
Current performance
I really dislike videos that are just pics and music. But I am sorry about your truck. Hope you get it back together.
Thanks man and ya it’s going back together slowly but it’s going lol and ya I’m not a fan of them either but that’s all I took was photos and had a couple people ask about doing it so I did
Did I miss you upgrading the rear end? I'm sure you did something to it
Yes I did unfortunately I didn’t take pics of it it’s a 8.6 with a trutrac and 3.90 gears
Who from
Florida
What size ssr star wheels are on the front?
15x7 I'm about to sell them and get skinnys for the front
What caused it fuel line pop off?
We upped the jets and adjusted the timing but didn’t up the activation point cause I was trying to get the truck out of the hole and my 60 foot down and ya that was a mistake lol
Was that the L20 4.8 engine?
It was a gen IV 4.8 out of a 2012 Silverado
Went from a motivational video to a sad video real quick. All that time and money ... sadness
I see you have a deep wallet you going to have to have a dozen 4l60e's to pay for that trans wont hold up regardless of who built it. Th400 pg or 4l80e only way to go.
Nitrous is bad mkay
Not if you run a good progressive system and don't make mistakes as Runs indicated, we just have to be careful where we make mistakes.
$1000 intake cooked🤬
Should have gone with a Sharps Customs intake and throttle body
$1000 that does almost nothing over a stock truck intake.
@@SOLDOZER a stock truck intake and throttle body that is ported will yield far better results than a $1000 intake manifold.
All that time and money down the drain.
What motor mounts did you you for your ls?
Current performance Polyurethane engine mounts...

What did you do for the drive by wire pedals
