Another cool little charming thing this game does is that if you knock out a single remaining Zombie, the camera will close up on the Zombie's face and have it go "Uh oooh..." before being taken out. God, I love this game.
I love how he over dramatizes the situation with emotional music in the background. Great work totalbiscuit, you are a fantastic entertainer and a helpful influence in gaming.
TotalBiscuit I utterly admire your ability to review casual games with the same respect you'd show a hardcore release. Most reviewers I've seen wouldn't even touch this.
RIP Legend. Its 2022 and your still missed. (I wish RUclips would stop making me change my memorial comment every 20 videos. When did they implement this new annoyance?!)
I'm glad you decided to continue this little series. Not only is it a constant reminder to not get suckered into the Steam Sale bargain bin, but it's fun to watch/ listen to.
Probably never would have known this game existed without this video. Always had a soft spot for bowling games... and zombies. Liking the series so far, TB.
That classy piano in the background for the intro just makes it all the sweeter. I wonder when you'll pull out a game deserving of the mad organist's music.
I think this looks pretty fun actually. There is obviously the zombie theme which adds a bit of humour, then they have the "trick or treat" power-ups which add a new dimension, and any left over "pins" march closer to you as the game goes on!
For all the people asking and looking for the background music at the beginning, it's Jonas Blake's solo Piano version of "The Lost Temple of Croatoa" from Jamestown Soundtrack by Francisco Cerda. As far as i know it was only featured in the Game Music Bundle 2 as Piano Sonata in A Minor Croatoa, Op. 5, Mov. 1. You should find it under Jonas Blake on soundcloud or on youtube under UnofficialSoundtrack.
"WarZ is in alpha" Alpha games do not get released on Steam. Version on Steam was the "foundation release" version 1.0. Quit making dumb excuses for liars.
"Best zombie game I have played all week" It is unfortunate that I would have more fun with this than a certain other zombie game which was featured on your channel this week. More credit to the people behind Zombie Bowl-O-Rama, although all they had to do was make a functioning game.
Well, the refreshing bit about watching TB´s vids is that he doesnt condem those who thinks differently, unless ofc thier logic is based on disliking his PoV rather than actually having a different well grounded argument to present. I personally do not always see things from the same perspective as TB does, but then again, hes not here to preach a religion, people have to make thier own oppinion of a game, and he is just presenting his in his own way. Dont watch it if you dont care for it.
I have over 100 games that I bought myself over the past years with steam. Most of which were on the steam sale. He likely buys a lot during the steam holiday and summer sales since they are SOOOO tempting to just buy.
first impressions is somewhat of review. it doesn't go into detail of what's good and what's bad, but he gives us his impression on how the game presents itself initially.
i gotta say, big lebowski is pretty awesome and i don't eat any drugs. it comes down to the fact that every character in the movie reflects a different facet of the human mind - from attitude to personality to desire. i thought it was pretty cool
I'm not sure if its original or not but this 2 player bowling is really awesome ! Using skills to screw up your opponents turn to leave more zombies for your turn, so you can get more points, zombies advancing on you is a good thing ! TRE!
Played it before TB did a video on it,and it really is a fun casual game.Beat it all in one try but it's just got this "Is this really the only game to do this brilliant combination" sort of game, and it's not a FPS,and everything with zombies that isn't FPS is good.
Hey TB, since no one has wished you it on your page yet.. and I'm hoping to do a guest spot sometime with you during the new year... Happy Holidays and happy new year.. most of all, welcome to the states. I hope you and your wife enjoy it here. Thanks for the videos. :)
Open Betas and full releases are separate things. Betas are there so people can find bugs. Open just means that anyone can be a tester, where closed just means a closed group is testing it. It is not a release its an open beta. There is a difference between the 2.
Yeah I agree, there are some interesting ones out there but at the same time, there are some that are just plain obnoxious (the Nivea ad in particular). I know the "skip ad" button will never happen and I understand why. The buttons just wishful thinking on my part. I just get sick of the obnoxious ads sometimes.
Zombie Shooter 2 is actually from the Sigma Team. And they made pretty decent isometric-style shooters Alien Shooter 1/2, which weren't perfect, but still quite enjoyable. The type of game like Crimsonland. Not good enough to play for hours, decent to waste some time without too much thought. Honestly, I'd check Zombie Shooter 2 out. It may be not as bad as you think.
While I understand a LOT of the Internet might get on your nerves, some people are actually honest and have nice intentions, and your reactions sometimes go a little overboard. If you don't mind me saying (like everybody else already did), ignore the trolls, and if you doubt, assume that person is just wrong and/or not intently bothering. I know you ignore viewer advice as a personal rule, and I don't mind, but I guess it doesn't hurt putting this out there. Cheers for the videos, I enjoy most.
Sorry TB, but I gotta correct you on Wii Bowling. Yes, most people can just chuck the ball down the middle of the lane and OFTEN get a strike, but there really is a strategy to the game. My dad's been playing it for years, and as a former long-time bowler, he's told me countless times how realistic it can be. It's tricky when it comes to speed, rotation, your stance, etc. It may seem simple, but there is depth to the game. I've never met anyone (besides my dad) who got a 300, so there you go.
I just saw the Mumbo Jumbo collection and it seems like an ok collection. Mostly puzzle games, point and click games, and this zombie game. Right now it's 79.99 and you save $150 so you can get a metric shit ton of games for $20 if you get it on sale.
Is this how people are going to get? The only time I buy games on Steam is when they are on sale. I bought Crysis in a box. A BOX. When it came out and played it then. Hence it has so little playtime on Steam.
Well, this IS TB's video, so most people here kinda like him. Still, I read quite a few things, and most downvoted comments were either dumb from the start or rebutted.
He has fans who send him games, and before you couldn't reject them, and you can't remove the games. Also, as previously mentioned, his WTF is... series requires him to buy games on Steam, if they are released there that is, which is probably the case for most games.
The big lebowski has such deep meaning if you look at it symbolically. theres also about 2 or 3 or so ways to watch the movie. 1.just see it as a huge chain of hilarious events. 2.look at it from a perspective of reflecting society and war.
Hi TB, During these slow periods, have you ever considered doing a retro game review series? For instance, you just reviewed War for the Overworld, in which a commentor had no idea what Dungeon Keeper was. It would be interesting to have you pull out old games like that, maybe even emulator games and give them some time in the sun again. I know I spend much of my gaming time playing retro games... (Civ 1-4, Dungeon Keeper, Master of Orion 2, Jedi Knight 1-2, etc.)
Personally I did not care for the Big Lebowski when I first saw it, but I watched it again with my friends a few years later and it was hilarious (no, drugs were not involved). It seems each time I watch it I discover more and more of the movie's subtleties and that just makes it a more enjoyable experience.
its like a zombie skinned version of polar bowler. polar bowler was in all the same as this 10 frames of blowing with power ups and things to mess with the other player/players. it was made by wild tangent the same company that made the rpg fate which is like torch light. very good games by wild tangent thumbs up so TB can see.
I was a bit disappointed when what I thought was going to be tb doing a Christmassy rhyming scheme intro didnt happen. Great vid though, really liking this series.
i have played that game before. I got it at the same steam sale. And only the first 2 levels are the same. The third has rocks. Thats all i can remember.
* Works full-time as a game commentator
* Viewers are surprised by size of game collection.
The internet.
Not to sound lame but this is one of my favorite games
I played this so much as a kid
RIP Legend. Its 2022 and your still missed. (I wish RUclips would stop making
me change my memorial comment every 20 videos. When did they
implement this new annoyance?!)
The sad thing is, not only do I own this game. But own the Elf Bowling game they made too, that plays exactly the same as this.
I'm glad you decided to continue this little series. Not only is it a constant reminder to not get suckered into the Steam Sale bargain bin, but it's fun to watch/ listen to.
Watching this series makes me feel like when I was experimenting with Game Dev Tycoon, not every combination of genre/style can work xD
FPS RTS Sci-Fi military Westerns are the future of entertainment!
Legit though, I'd play a FPS/RTS hybrid Firefly game. >__>
Probably never would have known this game existed without this video. Always had a soft spot for bowling games... and zombies. Liking the series so far, TB.
this game is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine
I remember buying that sale also, picked it up due to Overlord 1 and 2 being cheap and nothing better to do during deployment
This game actually seems good...
That classy piano in the background for the intro just makes it all the sweeter. I wonder when you'll pull out a game deserving of the mad organist's music.
TotalBiscuit, you clearly enjoyed your time playing this game, why try to pretend otherwise?
In this slower time of year I'd love to see a return of "This is why we can't have nice things" The video with God Hand was amazing.
An iPad version of this game would be pretty great tho :D
TB can i just say that coming on youtube and watching you use facts to destroy peoples argument is an incredibly enjoyable part of my day
They re-skinned Elf bowling... wow... -.-
i love it when you play your classy music when talking about the least serious issues.
TB, play this with your wife :)
I think this looks pretty fun actually. There is obviously the zombie theme which adds a bit of humour, then they have the "trick or treat" power-ups which add a new dimension, and any left over "pins" march closer to you as the game goes on!
All his videos seem horribly prejudiced... Nice work ._.
I love TotalBiscuit and his flat-out answers.
2spooky4u
"It's the best zombie game I've played this week"
they should quote you on that. Made me want to buy it, lol
3spooky5me
I'm amazed he made another one of these. I thought Bad Rats had scarred him for life.
5, Mov. 1. This is the best series yet. It's like TB doing retsupurae.
"WarZ is in alpha"
Alpha games do not get released on Steam. Version on Steam was the "foundation release" version 1.0. Quit making dumb excuses for liars.
this one is a lot better than the last 'why do I own...'. good job TB!
love the big lebowski reference, that is one of my favorite quotes of all time lol.
"He put a lil hat on!". If I make a game it needs to have shaking keys to entertain Mr. Biscuit
This is probably the best game i've seen on TB's "Why do I own" list.Though that isnt saying much now that I think about it...
I love TB's somber mood in these new Why do I own...?
"Best zombie game I have played all week"
It is unfortunate that I would have more fun with this than a certain other zombie game which was featured on your channel this week.
More credit to the people behind Zombie Bowl-O-Rama, although all they had to do was make a functioning game.
I love it when TB is pleasantly surprised by a game :D
I can't help but feel the money TB makes back on these videos is nice redemption for purchasing these games in the first place. :p
your little monologue about eating drugs was definitely the highlight of the video ha
Dont watch it if you dont care for it.
the slow motion looks surprisingly satisfying
Good to see some actual not-bad games in this series.
I have over 100 games that I bought myself over the past years with steam. Most of which were on the steam sale. He likely buys a lot during the steam holiday and summer sales since they are SOOOO tempting to just buy.
I played it already, its kind of awesome when you get to the really crazy powerups, like your ball transformimg in a ponball
I like this series very much. It's a nice twist from the regular WTF videos. Thank you vey much TB!
Why does it sound like Biscuit is doing a bad impression of Richard O'Brien from Crystal Maze at the start?
The Big Lebowski is a great film! And I don't even do drugs! You should watch it again. I don't know how else to explain it, but its a well done film.
first impressions is somewhat of review. it doesn't go into detail of what's good and what's bad, but he gives us his impression on how the game presents itself initially.
This reminds me of a bowling game I had on the Nintendo 64 (Milo's Astro Lanes). Powerups, bowling in space, ridiculous gameplay. I miss that game.
HAHAHA! I love what TB said at the end: "best zombie game I've played this week." We all know what he was hinting at......
i gotta say, big lebowski is pretty awesome and i don't eat any drugs. it comes down to the fact that every character in the movie reflects a different facet of the human mind - from attitude to personality to desire. i thought it was pretty cool
I had "Elf Bowling" on a floppy disc, that was an awesome pass time!
I love how into this game you get as the video progresses. Very funny :D
I'm not sure if its original or not but this 2 player bowling is really awesome ! Using skills to screw up your opponents turn to leave more zombies for your turn, so you can get more points, zombies advancing on you is a good thing ! TRE!
That is easily solved by using the search box on the channel
Played it before TB did a video on it,and it really is a fun casual game.Beat it all in one try but it's just got this "Is this really the only game to do this brilliant combination" sort of game, and it's not a FPS,and everything with zombies that isn't FPS is good.
Hey TB, since no one has wished you it on your page yet.. and I'm hoping to do a guest spot sometime with you during the new year... Happy Holidays and happy new year.. most of all, welcome to the states. I hope you and your wife enjoy it here. Thanks for the videos. :)
TB making a Big Lebowski reference... sooooo happy right now! xD
I'm not sure why but I giggled like a little girl when he said "It's the best zombie game I have played all week".
What's most amazing is that bad rats still shows up as installed :p
Loving that you've got music from Jamestown in the background, TB. Awesome.
Reminds me of Tekken Bowling. It still amazes me how much time I have spent with it. Good times:)
18:40
''It's the best zombie game I've played this week"
I see what you did there TB
This is giving me a bit of nostalgia for Milo's Astro Lanes on the N64

"Best zombie game I played this week" -Totalbiscuit, 2012
Put that on it's Steam page!
* Works full-time in an internet based community.
*Still responds to trolls.
The internet.
Thank you for making such interesting and entertaining videos.
It is almost always a pleasure to watch one.
Have a nice Christmas TB.

I love the background music that has been playing in your most recent vids. You have a great taste in music good sir. :)
Cheers for the videos, I enjoy most.
the music in this video is magic. when it comes to piano we have similar taste.
Sorry TB, but I gotta correct you on Wii Bowling. Yes, most people can just chuck the ball down the middle of the lane and OFTEN get a strike, but there really is a strategy to the game. 16:37 ....When TB says sit down I can't tell if he is happy or practicing for scolding children
Is this how people are going to get?
The only time I buy games on Steam is when they are on sale. I bought Crysis in a box. A BOX. When it came out and played it then. Hence it has so little playtime on Steam.
Look at the friends that play the game, particularly look at the first picture xD
Bought this couple years ago on steam halloween sale. I kind of liked it. It's abit short though, takes 2-3h to beat all maps.
this game is a spin of an other game called elf bowling that I played in like 4th grade, surprised they made another in the same style
Makes sense, although I just presumed he was given dishonored the same as the rest of ours, just released early.
There has not been a single alpha product available to buy on Steam. Minecraft was never available on Steam.
Well, this IS TB's video, so most people here kinda like him. Still, I read quite a few things, and most downvoted comments were either dumb from the start or rebutted.
When I was six, I used to love bowling games on PC for some reason.
He has fans who send him games, and before you couldn't reject them, and you can't remove the games. Also, as previously mentioned, his WTF is... series requires him to buy games on Steam, if they are released there that is, which is probably the case for most games.

Drawn is actualy a fun little game, it's a HOG with very beautiful art.
04:15 Looks like Jesse Cox sneeked in for a game of Bowl-O-Rama while you weren't home, hence the phantom savedata.
its like a zombie skinned version of polar bowler. polar bowler was in all the same as this 10 frames of blowing with power ups and things to mess with the other player/players. it was made by wild tangent the same company that made the rpg fate which is like torch light. very good games by wild tangent thumbs up so TB can see.

I kind of disliked TB at first, but now that i watched quite a few of his videos, I have come to enjoy his commentaries. Keep up the good work :)
Zombie driver is actually a decent game, should keep you entertained for about an hour or so :)
I imagine a bunch of good programmers and artists were told by their boss to make zombie bowling. And the need to eat was enough to get them to do it.
This reminds me of a good bad scifi channel movie, you expect nothing from a low budget b film and it turns out to be surprisingly fun to watch.
hey man, I don't do drugs and The Big Lebowski is one of my favorite movies
Looks like it was made by the same people as Elf Bowling was.
(almost identical, just with different "pins".)
