The floating healing thing is just floating combat text in game :) Go to interface -> combat -> floating combat text The natures grace procc is a weakaura, gimme a sec and ill find it :)
Great video. I found this spec to be a bit too risky though. I play in a somewhat casual raiding guild and fight length can be hard to predict. In guilds that are a bit inconsistant I definitely recommend the following: From my experience running Wushoolay trinket and a Swiftmend build has been the most solid set up. - Rank 3 HT at 1.85 sec is quick and strong enough for raid healing, using rank 4 during Wush or to provide medium healing. Rank 8 for big prediction heals. - Rejuv + Swiftmend is a great mobility heal for dangerous situations or during movement. - Swiftmend build lets you grab some flair talents like 5/5 Nature's Focus and Improved Enrage, which have great situational use. Or you can drop them for 1 point Improved Enrage + Feral Charge. - Raids can really only run one Nature's Grace Regrowth druid, since Regrowth doesn't stack and is overlapped by the person with most +healing. So if you got multiple druids Swiftmend will let you consume the other druid's Regrowth if needed. I'm still undecided on 5 set T2 for faster regrowth burst healing vs the healing bonus from dropping it. Yeah, you might not parse 99 on all fights with this spec, but you can easily get 95+ while still being the most reliable healer. Consistancy and reliability is what I value the most in a healer.
I rate this comment very highly, I feel the trinkets from ZG would really make this viable. I'm in a casual guild myself and fight length is unpredictable, I'm unsure whether to go for 5 piece still or go 3 set bonus (15%mana regen) and just move for BiS gear for bonus healing. I'd be interested to see your talents for a swiftmend build, I've been using a Moonglow/NS build at the moment. (trying to roll higher than 15 on heart of hakkar is proving more of a task than I imagined haha)
Check out this spec, its the meta for naxx healing I think at least, gives you the improved regrowth natures grace and 3/3 rejuv, swiftmend imo is a waste, its super mana heavy if your throwing hots about too and you still have natures grace and full rank HT to throw on the tank for a 3k(4.5k crit) instant heal, if your tank is needing this happening more often than a couple of druids can manage with nature swiftness CDs your having bigger problems than not having a swiftmend spec'd druid Also has my general naxx gear set with it, 2 piece t3 for procs on dps/tanks, 3 piece t2 for the mana regen(particularly when rejuv spamming you won't have 5 seconds rule regen often) and the ZG trinket you really want is Wooshoolays charm, turns HT into and absolutely monstrous flash heal for 15 seconds, the ZHC one has its uses too though(vael, maexx even c'thun vulnerability dps) classic.wowhead.com/gear-planner/druid/night-elf/AjwPQQBQMAJQH_UFADESMUBfgVfaXmgCVAODSXpfZIVCAU45Blfeh0u5XmiIS-02QolCCFz6ikIDYfcLSsQMS7YNTfMOS8OPVE9OLpBVT1jeEUtwEld_
Parsing can be fun when bored of content like MC and BWL but it drive's me insane when trying to do progression content. This current iteration of wow with the min max culture is not a fun way to play the game. Parsing as a healer is zero sum game, whatever you get to heal, someone else doesn't. It encourages heal sniping and over reliance on consumables due to creating a need to spam the most inefficient heals on targets. Seems like a waste of time to have 40 people farm for hours on end to afford raid consumables, just to save 30mins on a raid. If you're in a seriously sweaty guild, they won't even allow the druids to use rejuvenation or regrowth for fear of having a single consumable buff getting pushed off the target and lowering the dps amount a tiny percentage. In the sweaties guilds, druids are only taken for MOTW, Innervate, Brez and HT spam....that's it. I have a 60 priest, paladin and druid. Played all of them in a variety of specs and found out that most of the guide builds are wrong and really aren't the most enjoyable way to play if you're not in a hardcore guild min maxing everything to the limit. Moonglow and regrowth builds are hands down better builds for overall gameplay which includes 5 mans, raiding, farming and pvp. Excellent breakdown, keep up the good work.
Thats true, except when it isnt. Heal sniping is simply the nature of the game. Unless youre in a group thats extremely disciplined, you cant expect people to wait their turn or have faith that someone else is going to heal a dying target. "What you heal is what someone else doesnt." Except when a quick heal is what keeps someone alive. Quick heals are less efficient, but you gain a lot by using them. People are topped off quicker and more often. Theyre saved from low health faster. Slow heals just cant compete raid healing. And never will. If youre in a guild that wont let you hot, i would go moonglow and ask to be delegated as a tank healer. Basically paladin playstyle. It was hit in this video. The regrowth build does have the key HT talents for output. You do lose mana ht efficiency, but you gain the versitility of having a bigger toolkit to take advantage of different healing situations. Ill tell you that dumping your mana on some trash pulls, pulling 50%+ raid healing in a chaotic pull that would otherwise have killed several members is a really good feeling. "But its just a trash pull". Im there to attend and perform from the when i show up to when i leave. And the better we do on trash, the faster we get to bosses. You cant pretend that these 5 minutes are pointless but these 5 minutes are the only things that matter. I want the wider toolkit and the ability to burst heal or put it on cruise control. Ill buy extra potions to make it work.
Human reaction time is 0.2-0.25 sec so by the time you realize you got the proc you have already wasted half of it. Better to just spam regrowths, or low rank HT if you don't need much healing.
It can be very worth it don't mind them, regrowths single target healing at low ranks doesn't do alot alone, in some situations its great for spamming across the raid on high raid damage fights and get some benefit from the hot while helping to top up people constantly too, Vael for example I destroy every one every class in healing, I've hit 1300hps with the closest to me that time being 760 How ever if you tank healing on a tank and spank like on nef with only the tank taking damage etc there is no reason to keep spamming regrowths again and again getting nothing from the hot especially if your tank is getting smack and your using a 800 heal when it crits on rank 3(anything higher you'll oom in less than 60 seconds) and chewing through mana for little gain I definitely suggest weaving in Rank 3/4 HT especially before shadow flames cromag breaths etc, you can even time heals casting them cancel them last second if tanks at full hp and cast again until your the one sniping the dmg there usuallya rhythm to it, no one in my guild can outheal me on cromag with me mostly using rank 3 HT, same on Emps in AQ40
Parsing as a healer isnt really important. That being said I love to top my guilds meters as swiftmend. Rank 3 HT is still 2sec which is slow but on fights without a ton of raid healing keeping rejuv on tank and spamming rank 3 can keep ur hps up decent at only a 99mana cost. And being quick with swiftmend Esspecially on alliance where ur the only real instant cast heal is a nice boost.
In competitive guilds this video is useless. Well put together but HOTs push off more important buffs. Druids are only useful for Fairy Fire, MOTW, and B Rez. I love my Druid, but I am looking forward TBC where they truly shine.
i loved resto druid, until AQ opened up. We got like 3 shamans with the T 2,5 bonus. One of them uses flasks instead of manapots. I guess u can imagine how many heals i dont overheal..
Grizzly hills, I’m not crying YOURE CRYING
#1 zone in the game. If there is one place to trigger all my fond memorys of WoW into one place, its Grizzly Hills.
Please tell me what addon/weakaura ur using for the "Natures Grace" that appears on screen. Really need this!

What about using regrowth to proc nature's grace and then using Healing touch to get the castreduction? next video maybe? :D
Too slow of a cast. The idea is to fish for NG procs so you can pump even faster regrowths. That way your heals wont get sniped as much
Human reaction time is 0.2-0.25 sec so by the time you realize you got the proc you have already wasted half of it. Better to just spam regrowths, or low rank HT if you don't need much healing.

Thank you for the continued bed time stories
Hard to get good use of it as Horde, where shamans raidheal, putting most of your overtime healing as overheal

I want to like it but it’s at 69 likes....
What UI is this for raid frames?
who is this norrtlejn always on top dps? he must be the best warrior eu
Maybe, I heard that he sniffs glue tho :$
Is that VuhDu raid addon?
nice work dude
You look and sound like Kungen :D
Haha yea i've heard that a few times now ;)
I'm not ashamed to admit - I like listening to you talk about wow, I've never even played druid.
Me too man. Me too
12:50 Dont even need class buffs? My guy is only buffed with mana oil, missing motw, fort, int. what is going on?
Looking at his buffs, he probably died and got resurrected in that fight.
You're talking about parsing....but in real parsing raids druids arent allowed to used hots. Soooo nice build for a casual no wb raid i guess
I'm not in a casual guild and I am allowed to and the priests are not esp for naxx and set bonuses
In competitive guilds this video is useless. Well put together but HOTs push off more important buffs. Druids are only useful for Fairy Fire, MOTW, and B Rez. I love my Druid, but I am looking forward TBC where they truly shine.

Lolololololol
this build is completely useless for any guild that runs WBs. HOTS are a complete no no even on most DPS just in cases
fuck WBs all my homies hate WBs
