Those of you who hit the dislike button if you don’t like trains don’t bother looking at the video then you don’t have to hit the dislike button. It’s offensive to the man or the person who made this video a beautiful video a very nice one and he is she does not need criticism for something they put a lot of work into.
We have two of these open to the public in Tampa FL. The railroad club built their lines in city parks. The public can go for a ride on certain weekends.
Awesome. If I had this in my back yard I'd make my wife carry a radio and have her activate my track warrants any time I'd use it. Make her talk to me in that sexy dispatch voice.
What a great return on your investment! I’d bring my Mrs. for a ride, but we wouldn’t get very far very fast ……. cause she’d be asking you to stop at every flower or plant so she could ask what it was …… well done, I tip my hat to you 🙂
do you have a steam locomotives? the layoutis pretty intersting. this is awesome. nice tour!. i am a member of British Columbia Society of Model Engineers near Vamcouver, BC aka Burnaby Central Railway
At 5:43, does anyone know what all the machinery is for? Looks like a vertical steam boiler for a donkey engine, with 2 recip steam engines, and at least 3 lines & redirects.
The speeder I'm riding on is battery powered, using a 24 volt system. The blue locomotive is gas hydraulic. There is no power in the rails. Being outdoors it's not really feasible to use track power.
What sucks about this project is the fact that this guy probably had to bring the materials he used to put this railroad together in with either a lawnmower, or an ATV.
This kind of stuff fascinates and confuses me in equal measure.I love the idea and the challenge of making it,like i would an rc aircraft or something, but actually riding it around? Not so sure.Don't get me wrong,i really admire all the work that must go into something like this, but the 'anoraks',as we call them in the UK,that would flock to ride on it, telling you how big their layout is and what they would do differently, would get on my tits big time
I can’t even imagine the amount of maintenance this awesome railroad requires.
Nice layout which took a lot of work
Great railroad, and absolutely love the yard.
wow amazing - the amount of work and time and money that went into building that was well worth it -

Definitely more landscaped than most 7.5" gauge railroads, at least in the U. S. Gives real meaning to the term "garden railway".
Thanks for the great ride. It took me back to my childhood riding narrow gauge rail road trains at Bush kill park at Easton pa..
Amazing. You sure are blessed to be able to own this.
Love the yard and loved the ride - I hope you’re still running that train it looks fantastic 😊💕
Fantastic layout. Love the landscape everywhere !!! A dream come true.
What wonderful work! Cheers from dismal Detroit 🇺🇲
That was a super fun day! It was my first time over the new trestle

>^..^< What a lovely lay out and property, thtey are perfect for each other......... Congratulations..........
My Great Grand Daughter would love this
great??
0:28 that bridge is awesome!

Beautiful layout love the garden as well
I see I am not the only one that dreamed about having such thing on my land haha
What a cool thing!
Amazing backyard railroad. I think it's time for a shay locomotive to haul logs. Wish I had the property for that.
Christopher Knode r.ghhh
I have a Shay, but no property as well...
I would be more than happy to have such a layout to run the Shay regulary.
Debating or not I should start investing in a railway system*private* for our property
You need it to help with the gardening.
WOW!! Awesome. Beautiful. Thanks

What a lot of fun that looked like!
That's incredible work. Well done,
Nice capture...
Can I use this video in my train compilation video credit to you in video will be given
I want one of these for my Back Yard! My mind is blown! Only I wanna do Electric Traction! Go Milwaukee!!
Someday. . . although I would love to get rich enough to model at 1:1 scale. :-)
Very very amazing,lovely,beautiful and sweet.😍😍😍😍💟💟💟💟
Nice track, nice yard, nice video!
Cool 😎 railroad 😀
It looks amazing; I wanna build something like this when I hit the big time. Do you have a weed-spraying train for 1:12 and 3:58?
Super Track.
Don in Omaha never told me he had a cousin that had 1" RR. He just sent me the link. I'm in Ne City NE if you ever come through this way.
There could have been some narrative about the railroad and location. It would have been nice to see the train.
This os AWESOME!
beautiful
You ran through a switch at 00:58. 30 days off without pay!
Mike Holuba Full scale railroad I work for does it all the time. "Good Iron on the switch"
Spring switch
You need retaining guide rails on the bridges/trestles!!!
do you have a steam locomotives? the layoutis pretty intersting. this is awesome. nice tour!. i am a member of British Columbia Society of Model Engineers near Vamcouver, BC aka Burnaby Central Railway
Nice Dougs in there!
awesome, beautiful, an experience I wanna do
hey, that's pretty good!
I’d like to move to Oregon and build one of these private railroads on my future property and run live steam locomotives.
At 5:43, does anyone know what all the machinery is for? Looks like a vertical steam boiler for a donkey engine, with 2 recip steam engines, and at least 3 lines & redirects.
How FUN is that!!!!
Muito bom...Good..Brazil....

And electric locomotives are powered by electricity from the rails? How many volts is the motor?
The speeder I'm riding on is battery powered, using a 24 volt system. The blue locomotive is gas hydraulic. There is no power in the rails. Being outdoors it's not really feasible to use track power.
Thank you, I understand!
Great job you have some talent and should be very proud of this railway
Superb layout how many acres of land is it on
1.25 acres
What sucks about this project is the fact that this guy probably had to bring the materials he used to put this railroad together in with either a lawnmower, or an ATV.
It's even better at 2x normal speed.
Wich contrary and wich city
Nice. Is it open to the public?
water_skipper yy
water_skipper no only private!!
I hope the 2020 fires have left this gem alone.
Oh, what gauge is this?
This is 7-1/2" gauge.
@@lionelmpc nice
I want it !!!
how are the trains powered
The blue locomotive is gas hydraulic. The yellow speeder is battery powered
What gauge is this?
7-1/2" gauge.
Nice, but is this practical or some wealthy person's toy???
It is mainly for fun but it could be used to haul stuff around. You don't have to be wealthy.
Nice
That's what Brits call 'a proper engineering job'!
Zajebiste !!!!!!!!!!!
