Great video Gavin, I'm waiting for the Latitude 5420 Ben Sherman addition in green to be released before i buy. Really informative vid, keep up the good work.
my IT dept bought me a bit newer 5421 recently, and first impression is very good... regarding price you pay for Intel vPro platform, which is aimed at big entities, where admins have to manage hundreds or thousands of laptops securely, hence such purchase does not make sense for individual user... and your video is best looking in the mirror ;-)
Great presentation Gavin. I have got this laptop and is interested in putting in wwan card, if possible can you tell me the lte card model on this computer?
I'm curious what you think about the Vostro compared to the consumer level (Inspiron). Part of the reason that Dell provides the 3 year warranty on the Latitudes is that the build quality is better- at least when compared to the Inspirons. My 5420 came with 8GB RAM and 256GB NVMe drive and cost me $1,000 USD. (And of course I promptly upgraded to 32GB RAM and 1TB NVMe and the thing flies...)
I have no problem with the build quality of either. I'm sat typing this on my Vostro laptop, which I love and find the quality really, really good. I think this particular Vostro was around £500.
@willy7968 good overall good battery life and performance, i would recommend setting it to hibernate when you close the lid thus making the battery last days
Video is backwards which does affect the review of the system. Anyway good vid.
Watch it via a mirror ;-)
@@LucidComputerSolutions Well said! 😁

Sorry this laptop has left our office now, so I'm unsure on that level of detail.
