For everybody information, a thing that is not well written about the Education of the Theocrat Tier 3 reform for Theocracies is that upon enacting and upon getting every new ruler you will trigger an event for giving your heir +1 stat of a chosen category and +1 free policy of the same type. I usually prefer it over the others but also advisor discount as Quarbit chose is obviously a great choice, probably the best choice is switching to the former one after having unlocked your first policy.
I'm surprised you didn't tag around and check out the lore bits dropped in the national ideas and mission trees to get an idea of what happens in this mod. Fun bit: Canada becomes Kanata because the disinherited son of Canada's ruler is Islamic, and declares a Jihad to take his rightful throne, and the very powerful nation of Ohio (Because Ohio is also islamic and the Mediterranian overlap on north america had Ohio right where Constantinople and Anatolia was) backed them. Sometimes it goes off, sometimes it doesn't. There's all sorts of fun in this mod.
Somehow... the weirdest part to my brain is Michigan. Like, there's so much stuff that should be weirder... but seeing Michigan just floating there is the most jarring to me.
Reminds me of the alternative history story 1983: Doomsday where after the bombs fall the papacy is moved to Rio de Janeiro because South America is where like ALL of the surviving catholics live.
@@samwill7259 a majority for certain but you know it's not like all of europe is gonna die, now don't get my wrong the losses would be horrific but don't expect 95 % of the population to disappear
@@me67galaxylife True but then you'd have to think about the realities of communication in the years after a nuclear exchange. Even if a lot of European Catholics DO survive, bringing them back into the fold is going to be a decade long project at least.
@@samwill7259 oh in that way well i'm sure a lot of communications would work because even if you exlude the occasional civilian equipment that could be started and used again the army has got plenty of com equipment design to withstand nuclear war, however in terms of things like infrastructure and such sure but they technically still exists, at the same time the pope would have to move anyway because i'm pretty sure rome would be nuked and i can see it being relocated temporarily altho idk if it would be in south america obviously in this mod, there's not a lot of choice
