The Sarafine house plan from Donald A. Gardner Architects is a luxury design on a hillside walkout. Arches and a cupola highlight the stone and cedar shake exterior and metal roof accents enhance curb appeal.
A foyer welcomes guest and leads to the great room with a fireplace and coffered ceiling. Step outside to the rear porch with skylights or enjoy the screened porch with fireplace when the weather is cooler. The kitchen centers around an island with a cooktop and enjoys a large front facing window. The dining room creates a focal point with an elegant barrel-vaulted ceiling. Only steps away, find a pocket office, pantry, and a storage closet. The oversized utility room enjoys a laundry sink, built-in cabinetry, and access to the side porch. The three-car garage opens to a mudroom and a bonus room is above for expansion.
A large sitting room accompanies the elegant master suite. Dual walk-in closets lead to a thoughtfully designed master bathroom with two vanities, a walk-in shower, and a soaking bathtub. Completing the first floor, a bedroom/study is available with a walk-in closet and a full bathroom.
Downstairs, find two additional bedrooms with private bathrooms and walk-in closets. A media/game room is great for entertaining and built-in bookshelves are available to store games, books, and movies. Use the workshop for household projects or to store outdoor equipment.

These are very nice homes but rather have a smaller house with a larger garage.
