As much as I love love the jeep videos I also like how you guys make it educational on the history of your travels as well keep up the great work guys 👍
That looks like a great way to spend the day! I've gotten more into rum since coming back from the Virgin Islands recently. I like how the Jeep life can be more than just wheeling and bolting on mods. It can introduce you to like minded individuals who share an adventurous spirit and common interests.
That was fun! I found your channel because I have a new JL, and I want to learn everything Jeep related.... But, This was great because we get to see what you are like when you are not wrenching on a Jeep. You have a great channel, and will be to 500K before you know it!! Thank you again!!!
These are the kind of trips my wife would enjoy. Wine tasting late morning to early afternoon then hit the trails and find a nice camp spot to further enjoy a bottle of wine. We have done several like themed trails in Cottonwood, AZ and sounds like Pahrump is calling. Nice video, thank you for sharing.
Thank you! We are up in Vegas next week and we will stop by these businesses ourselves. Not bringing the Jeep this time so that part will be missed. But it is nice to see these types of adventures. Keep them coming and Enjoy Life!
Appears to have been an adventurous day Eddie. I'm not a wine person, but rum, I'm all over that! Glad you all were able to squeeze in a little bit of time off road. lol
Thanks for posting this. I live in Las Vegas. I knew about the winery in Pahrumph, but not the rum, or the mead, or the second winery; I will have to take a trip there in the next few weeks. I remember driving with my dad over Wheeler Pass in about 1971 in our '64 Chevy ¾ ton pickup. The beehive ovens were intact back then. Every few years I go on that route. I don't recall exactly when they were destroyed. As you said though, there are beehive ovens all over Nevada; some of them are undisturbed. See you on the trails.
Hi great video. Wheeler pass is a fun trail. I can see it from my house here in Pahrump. i like it at night watching all the vehicals coming off the mountain.
You were in my stomping grounds on this one. Wheeler Pass is beautiful, and if you came down the Vegas side you passed my work just before the freeway. Rocky Gap, just off Lovell Canyon, is a nice run with rock garden that earns a Jeep Badge. Carpenter Canyon also has a nice little stream to wheel up with some picnic areas and shade at the top the next time you come back this way. Stonewise is a great Meadery too, they do session meads mostly which is typically lower ABV than your typical Meade. But they do have special brews they sell from time to time. If you ever need a local tour, let me know, would love to wheel some with you and yours.
I’m enjoying my daily glass of “heart medicine” while watching this. I had no idea there were vineyards near Vegas! That rum & mead look outstanding too. Awesome video!
Just happened across your channel and actually caught a shot of myself in the background at Artesian Cellars! I’ve been trying to tell everyone- 3 wineries-1 rum distillery and the Meadery!
Didn't know any of those were out there. I'll definitely make the rounds next time I'm up there. Might as well take some bottles home and support local.
Hi Eddie, I love all of your videos. I was wondering if you have ever made a video about JL door adjustment. The bottom forward area seems to have a wider gap than the bottom rear. I'm looking for a 'little help'. Thank you, God bless, and keep up the great work 👍
That was a very fun to watch video. Thanks for sharing it with us. What is your favorite go to for whiskey? And do you have a whiskey collection at home?
Glad you enjoyed it! Go to... hmmm, I'd have to say Makers or Bulleit if only because they can typically be found at a bar. Yes, I do have a small collection at home of things I like. How about you?
LOL - This was a "tasting" trip - NOT a "drinking" trip. There is a difference and you should take the time to learn about it before assuming our ability to drive afterward :)
@@wayalife - just joking around. If I didn't have a CDL I would be taste testing edibles in CO and riding the range behind Pikes Peak. There's some cool roads all the way from Garden of The Gods to Pueblo CO. Did that a few times in the '80's. Colorado is my second favorite state. Thanks for the videos young man.
My family has grown apples for over a 100 years in Santa Cruz County, CA. S. Martinelli Co.....My younger brother still takes care of Martinelli Apple ranches....
Glad you enjoyed seeing it and yes, people suck. The frickin internet and especially social media hasn't helped one bit. Ever since every influencer and their mother started broadcasting the location of every great site, these places have really fallen into ruin.
And here i am feeling like a clown, I always thought of Pahrump as a place in the desert that Art Bell and his crownies sat around the an air stream looking for UFO's lol honestly thats all I knew of Pahrump and now i know its a kick ass little area
We were "tasting" as in, consuming very small amounts AND the establishments provide a means to spit out your drink so that you can "taste" more without getting inebriated.

I am stuck getting between these two engines, 2.0 turbo and the 3.6 etorque, in order to get the xtreme recon package for rubicon. Which one should I get?
@@mion1981 Yes. It's an engine that's been around for 10 years now and the added etorque makes it that much better. Back in 2012, when it first came out, there were some issues and we had them on our JK back then but it has since been proven to be a good engine.
If you're referring to Creech on the other side of the mountain, yup. In fact, we drive by it every time we head down to our home in Boulder City and back again. :)
Calm down @kat0. I can only assume you've never gone tasting before. We were "tasting" as in, being served very small amounts AND provided containers to spit drinks out so that you can "taste" more without getting inebriated.
It's a shame that some people feel they need to destroy things or spray paint them with graffiti. I wonder what the heck is going through their minds when they are vandalizing historic sites.
They don't give it a second thought. It is the MAIN reason why I do not post up destinations like this. They've always been easy enough to find if you do some research but ever since all the social media influencers started posting up GPS coordinates up, everything has really taken a turn for the worse.
Unfortunately, it won't. The only thing that stopped most of the idiots in the past was not knowing about these places. Granted, it was never that hard to find before but now that every social media influencer and their mother broadcasts the locations of them on the internet, there's been no saving them. It is a big part of why I never do.
The youth today have no respect or inconsiderate and are bored so the only thing they have to do is lash out & destroy. But they whine when someone disrespects them. I heard a lot of youth vandalism is happening in National parks; such as duckbill rock being pushed over
It's not just the youth, it's people in general and from what I've seen, a big thanks to social media. We know this stupidness happens because they post up about it. Of course, it doesn't help that every influencer and their mother feels the need to broadcast the location of all these places with GPS coordinates. Not like it was ever that hard to find before but it did take reading a book.
Safe to assume you've never been "tasting" before? The way it works is that they give you very small samples and even a vessel to spit what's in your mouth out so that you can "taste" more without getting drunk.
@@wayalife You are right on assuming I haven't been Tasting before, matter of fact I don't drink any type of Alcohol which never makes me the life of the party lol. P.S my original comment was never meant to say you drink and drive 🙂
