Thanks for info for sedici strada 2! I already purchase a helmet from you a LS2 Valiant 2 but its little to heavy and hurt my neck so it sit with all others helmet!
I have the strada 2, and a Ruroc atlas 2.0. Honestly... The strada 2 comfort/liner/quietness is hands down wayyy better than the ruroc atlas 2.0. Pretty much everything about it is better with the exception of the weight, and the fidlock. I use the strada 2 for communication and sena. As far as glasses, the strada 2 is just fine with my ray ban glasses.
I'm right there with yuh. There was a lot of hype around the Ruroc when it came out. I scooped one up to test out and it was pretty terrible, especially at that price. But, to each their own. Everyone has different expectations and experiences with gear I reckon.
I know this might be a dumb question, but how would you compare it to the RF-1400? I really want that helmet,b ut I honestly just don't want to spend $530 if I don't have to...
You didn’t have to but thanks for mentioning some of the former ZLA folks. I know what happened to Anthony but I often wondered what happened to some of the others from that product videos.
@@quinnkirlew9892 Sorry about that as that was not my intention. Yes, Anthony left the company but it was better known as he was co-owner. The other products demonstrators just kinda stopped being in videos and left for various reasons.
Has anything been updated with this helmet since this review came out? I'm noticing prices on the Strada II are now more like $250. Is it still a good buy at a 25% price bump?
Well, I’ve wore the helmet and rode with it for 2 weeks now, it’s worth it. Comfy, adjustable, very aerodynamic, it doesn’t feel like my head wants to lift off my shoulders so the spoiler helps, the chin cover works, the air vents are good, and the drop down visor helps with sun glare off the street as it should. It’s light and I can look left and right like it’s not on my head, field of view is awesome actually. Visor is thick, strong and clear. The helmet doesn’t feel cheap. Love the helmet cover it comes with when it arrives at your house. The helmet strap to secure it on your head is good and wind noise and outside noise is very good, you can hear what you need to, and not hear stuff you don’t like wind. All in all, I give it a 10/10.
I have the Strada II carbon fiber, and my only 2 gripes are I wish the visor had more stop points, and I cant seem to find any replacement visors. Everyone seems to be out of stock. 😬
The stop points (detents) is my biggest complaint also. Had an accident where the forehead part of the helmet smashed a windshield and I didn't experience any neck or head pain. Because of how well it functioned, I'm replacing the basic Strada II with the Strada II carbon model.
I wish revzilla could create some objective measurements for helmets. Instead, they're all great for the money and we end up with a useless star system in which every helmet is 4.x stars.
I have this helmet. How do I adjust the inside like mentioned? I have a 3XL and it’s just a little tight but not enough to warrant wearing something different. And as far as glasses go, I can’t really wear them unless they’re super thin frames.
There is 5mm of foam to each side of the forehead in the top liner. If you remove the top liner you will be able to lift the black flap and peel away the excess foam to give yourself a bit more space. If you are still running into issue with locating it, feel free to chat with one of our Gear Geeks at 877.792.9455 or CS@revzilla.com.
That is the Reax Jackson Leather Jacket. I've been wearing in for nearly 2 years now. Definitely my go-to option these days. - www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/reax-jackson-leather-jacket - Unfortunately, it looks like a lot of sizes are out of stock. You might be able to find one at your local Cycle Gear. Cheers!
SNELL likes thicker helmets, so there may be extra layers of Kevlar/fiberglass in that one. Also keep in mind, the carbon models only have an outer layer of carbon, the majority of the shell is still Kevlar/fiberglass.
I don’t know if you figured it out by now but basically what are you going to need is a chin mount and a go pro hero Generation 8+ to get that set up going
Ugh... Not you guys with Sedici too. This was the demise of Cycle Gear B&M stores IMO. Before Sedici you could actually walk into a CG and buy something of worth. Now you go in and 65% of the floor is devoted to Sedici. I love supporting the local retailers. But not at the cost to selection, Especially when what they are pushing is vastly inferior to Arai, Shoei, AGV, Shark, etc
Sedici has always been the home brand for revzilla/cycle gear since theyre owned under the same company. Theyre honestly pretty decent for the price, but obviously they wont compare to large name brand helmets like shoei and arai
@@kylenieb4946 Think back 15-20 years ago. There was no Sedici in CG and there was a helluva lot more variety and selection in CG. After CG introduced Sedici many including myself gave up on CG turning to online sites like RevZilla

Others in the bay area have lamented about CG and Sedici so it's not totally me :)
75% of rider can’t afford a $500+ Shoei or Arai. Yeah Sedici wasn’t good, but now that there seems to be some form of partnership with LS2, quality seems to be increasing.

I actually just bought one, arrives Thursdays this week todays (5-22-22) it’ll arrive on (5-26-22) I will ride with it and let you know how it goes.

Website says
$209
Primo is 169.99
Carbon is in the 300+ range.
You addressed my concern quickly in this video. I was wondering if a Bluetooth unit would fit on the left side of the helmet with the visor button.
That intro though!

Great value, padding is very comfortable. Looks like it cost 2x the price

Return it if you don’t like it then?
champion helmets does testing with data, they test temperature and noise levels
What jacket is that? I actually like that look
So based on your website. Strada Primo only two shell sizes not three ? I don’t need coms or drop down visor. Thank you.
Is the visor have UV protection?
Nice video! Which chin mount are you using?
What is the leather jacket your wearing?
They make a photochromic shield for this and I'm not sure what the point of that is when it has an internal visor.
I found the internal visor helpful when riding into a sunset, but other than that it's overkill with the photochromic visor.
Can you replace the vents on top if they break? And where do you get them at?

Does the cardo packtalk slim fit?
I have the previous generation parlare and I'm wondering if the upgrade is worth it?
Does the visor fog ????
Not during average riding conditions, but if you ride in colder conditions or rainy ones where it can, you can install a pinlock insert to prevent it.
If I'm being honest, I think that they are trying to follow Arai's footsteps.
