- After a small hiatus from RUclips, the Budget Honda Civic build was due for a much needed car wash! So let's break out the new car washing tools and get it done!
Getting back into the groove of things, the Civic was overdue for a wash and I busted out the camera for a quick video. I spent the last 2 weeks in Europe and unfortunately couldn't get out any videos on my Honda Civic project car! So I thought to film this quick wash to make up for the gap in content. This video was unplanned and I wanted to try out a different camera angle. So my apologies if this doesn't seem like my normal content! I also HATE the chest mount camera angle, hence the abnormal amount of B-roll.
I typically wash my Civic once a week or every other week to keep it looking fresh for photos and videos. Although it's my daily driver, I do my best to keep it clean and I enjoy washing it. Even though the Civic is a budget build, I don't skimp out on nice detailing products or accessories. I think using quality detailing supplies makes the BIGGEST difference in the general appearance for a car. So even though my parts might be "cheap," my detailing regimen is...not lol.
I know I sound crazy, but this wash was a bit half assed compared to my normal "beer drinking" wash. Washing is kind of my therapy and I enjoy it, whereas I kinda rushed it in this video for times sakes. This wasn't mean to be a (how to wash your car) video, but just me grunting and scrambling to get it clean haha. Hopefully you guys still dig it!

love these videos keep it up, i just picked up a 99 civic ex coupe for $1700 yesterday it has a dented in front passenger side fender but other than that it runs and drives really good and it only has 100,000 miles on it, it’s a one owner car, but it definitely needs a cleaning and touch up. it’s been sitting for about 4 months before i bought it. honestly videos like these are super helpful and i love watching them so please keep it up also i love your civic and i definitely want to make mine look similar to yours.

Saw a comment about doing rear disc swap and it’s a great mod. You need integra trailing arms and a 99-00 si emergency brake line. Pretty easy if you don’t have rusted out trailing arm bolts.

Chest mount seemed fine to me wouldnt have even noticed had you not said sometime. Lol
You should try the mini brush on your wheels if you have one. That's the one I have and I occasionally get a little spray back if I'm going super fast but it has never bothered me.

Hey Anthony I'm a new follower and I'm glad to see you back. Your civic vlogs have inspired me to do some stuff to my 05 LX 5 speed. Not sure where to start though. I know I want to film the build when I do it but idk if it will take off like yous did. If you have any advice I'd like to hear it. I want to do something similar with performance upgrades and styling. I'm a huge fan of the clean look you went with. If not I'm content with just watching.
The lx isn’t worth throwing money into the engine bc they don’t have Vtec or anything but do what you want they got about 15 less hp then the ex
I feel like Anthony got popular because he has a 6th gen Civic. The 7th gen is kind of gay to most people, myself included. I drive a 6th gen like Anthony but black and I get a surprising amount of people asking me about it. I guess they are starting to become less common in Canada
Honestly I'm not putting money into the engine. I'm k20a swapping it. But I had a 6th gen as well it was beat to hell when i got it. The whole reason I bought a 7th gen is because it's like new. No kids have gotten their grimy hands on it. And done up right they look just as nice as a 6th gen. But hey everyone has their own opinion and that's cool. I like my car and if you don't well then it's a good thing you aren't putting your money into it. Anyway thanks for letting me know you guys don't like my build. Guess if I blog it I can count you two as unsubcribed.

I'm not sure what camera you were using on the tripod, but the quality is amazing and super crisp. Your civic vids really make me miss my 99 Integra GSR. Classic older Hondas are the best.

Love you're coupe @ALLDAYANTHONY now that visually you have done a lot of things to make it look so good but still kept it clean and simple I know it is your daily driver but... I have. 95 coupe my self with a d16 single cam VTEC and I know if you really want power you should go dual cam but I would love to see you do some simple mods under the hood like intake header exhaust and if you really want to make some power out of it like I have and surprise people with a single cam full bolt-ons like mods I just said plus aftermarket intake manifold throttle body injectors fuel pump cam p29 Pistons rods bearings springs retainers you can make anywhere from 150 all the way up to 190hp all motor out of these little single cams yes a dual cam has more potential yes turbo single is easier to make power but to just add some simple bolt ons would even make the thing wayy better I piss slot of my friends off with bolt on dual cam Hondas I my self am 160-170 to the wheels when are coupes come with 130 at the crank stock that's damn good no matter the hate I get for doing it i love being a under dog and it's a really fun daily sorry for the stupid long comment

Its the SI grill for that model. His car isn't the SI but the grill fits. Should be the same for the 03 EX Coupe. I have an 01 EX Sedan and it used to have the SI grill on it

Are you able to foam the entire car on one charge with the new IK?
You definitely can. Won’t be super thick obviously but you can do the whole car in a nice thin layer

Here's a video suggestion, I'd enjoy seeing you're "Crack a Beer Take Your Time Wash" done on January 11, 2020. BTW what is the beer of choice when washing?
Pretty much how all modern housing developments are. I'm sure it's to keep cost down easier to design one thing then just pop a bunch of them up then to try and make hundreds of unique designs. Really only get that in neighborhoods with older homes or a rich neighborhood where everyone builds their homes individually.
I'm not much a fan of it either but I'm always for more affordable housing coming up and not just more apartments.
For sure camera on your head looks better. The chest mount points down too much. When you are applying the dressing on the tires the camera is pointing at nothing. For sure the head mount was better. Keep up the dope videos!!!!

Nice baby honda. I own a Honda Civic dx sedan 1998 lowered straight pipe non vtec 1.6 d16y7 but I have an issue with air system like the throttle position I replaced everything and every sensor but still have the same issue anyone can help me please !!!!
