after 3 years using chains and ripping up the driveway, when a chain broke one day I took them off for good and just went with 200 lbs on a rack off the back of my driveshaft Cub Cadet model GTX 2100. Not always able too make it up my VERY steep driveway, unless at super slow speed and still stock tires break loose. Just got some tires shown here and switched tires to reverse tread direction and UNBELIEVABLE !!! Now I can go up full speed without the tires breaking loose running a 48" snowblower. The reverse tire pattern cannot be stopped. Even went and did my neighbors SUPER STEEP driveway (a near 30 degrees slope) and it climbs like a mountain goat. Things you learn on you tube!
I know the tire is backward. If that is your best comment, Thank you . It is what I had to test the size when I built the hubs. Then I bought the same size turf tires. Apparently you all watch it enough to notice, Thanks

nice job.. I am sure someone mentioned the tires are on backwards...
Just saying.. :-)
Great video. My craftsman mower has exactly the same problems. I will give you a call and I need these new hubs
You must have been planning to be pulling a lot in reverse.
Nice job.
I need to do this to my 2019 YTH2454. What make rims did you use?
bet it works good backwards

It seems the directional of your tire is correct as if the lawnmower has a hydrostatic transmission which is wheel spin in opposite direction.
Just ordered some "tractor" tires because my turf savers were doing fuck all on my sloped lawn. I was spinning tires too often
Love my YT24v48.... hate the wheels it shipped with.... always spinning when encountering just a little wet or mud.
How do i get them.i got the rims already.i got the same rider
Do ypu think a 25in wheel would clear the deck?
ag tires with treads on backward is best for snow other wise with the point forward with mud dirt sand and grass
The tires are on backwards
Can I see the Hub modification mate?
He knows the tires are on backwards guys. If you read on he explains why, they get better traction in snow
I guess he mows his snow, and that’s ok with me.
check you tread buds
Tires are backward bro lol
