Lenny mentioned when they name-only revealed Starduster that he was going to have a little something to acknowledge that he was a mail in figure only originally - from a cereal package promotion - so I anticipate another little Easter Egg accessory with him too. :)
I love this series of videos. Some of these references are such deep cuts - great finds on your part. All these references really reinforce how much the GI Joe team at Hasbro love their work!

I enjoyed the video, seeing the different Easter eggs. But there's one you missed. It's on General Hawk, if you look just over Hawks rifle. You'll see someone flying that's another version of Hawk, I think version 3 or 4.

I think the crocodile on the Mutt and Junkyard one is a reference to the episode Cobra Creatures where Mutt wrestles the crocodile that almost got Junkyard. I like the cold slither Easter egg and I saw Lenny on someone's RUclips channel where he talked about he gave Ripper the glass eye because we never see his eyes in the cartoon series but we do in that Cold slither episode
Ah yes! Of course! Thanks Bobby - I blanked on that one! I love Ripper's glass eye - its a wonder touch that adds a little something to an already great figure. Might be my best of year... coming soon ;)
The crocodile on mutt and junk yard's packaging is due to the reference of the episode where Cobra has a mind control device and takes over junk yards. Mind and as he's trying to attack mutt. Then mutt saves junkyard from a crocodile in the swamp
I love the little hints. It's obvious that people who really love GI Joe make these figures and artwork. Brings back a little of that childhood excitement when new figures were introduced on the back of the cards. Good times!
The episode, “Cobra’s Creatures” featured Dr Lucifer’s Hi-Freak qeapon that used high frequencies to control animals. Cobra closed sown ahipping lanes with whales, and O believe riverways with with crocs and alligators, and there was a “Most Dangerous Game” -type of storyline where Mutt was being hunted by Cobra-controlled Junkyard. They play that episode a lot on their YouTune channel.. and I disagree.. I haven’t found ALL of the episodes pn their channel. They seem to mainly rotate the mini-series and the two-part episodes and also Countdown for Zartan and Red Rocket’s Glare… episodes that used to be on Rhino VHS. I love your content 🤓😎
Interesting. I've never checked whether it really was "all" episodes, I just believed it when I read it on the YT channel. Are you just watching the live stream? Have you checked out the play lists of the seasons? I usually use the playlists. Let me know - I'd be interested to find out which one's I've missed. I totally forgot about the scene you mentioned. Someone else drew my attention to it in the comments and I was... like... "Oh yeah" and face palmed myself LOL And thanks for the encouraging words at the end there - I really appreciate that :)

I have always wondered why Hasbro never made a Dodge Viper Road/Track (R/T) or Ford Cobra 427 Semi-Competition (S/C) for the Crimson Twins like the James Bond Aston Martin DB5 with all of the oil slick, machine guns, ejector seat, smokescreen gadgets. Maybe some after market company will make one for them. Would make for great chases!!!
Now that everybody complained and cried the art work is limited, the Easter eggs are gone, and the plastic is back. Great job complainers you won! Crying over everything pays off kinda like being a baby only at the age of 40.
Yeah - while I'm no fan of the window'd packaging, its not all THAT bad, we are still getting the artwork on the back (like Airborne, Metalhead and Quick Kick I showed in the vid). So all is not lost my friend!

The red car is a Dodge Viper. Around a ‘94-ish model. Ed O’Neil/Al Bundy had one just like it. 😂

@@sushigee there are no Easter eggs on mutts box just a product picture, and diorama pictures. No real dedicated story telling.
