I honestly feel bad for everyone on that Manchester card because the main event is a snooze fest & will probably be the lowest selling pay-per-view of all time but the fights leading up to the main event look pretty sweet.
The time issue is absolute horse shit. To my understanding the UFC wants the best fighters fighting at their best. No one and I mean no one is their best at 4 O'clock in the fucking morning. Every one of these fights will always have the "Well if it wasn't at ___O'clock..." stigma surrounding them.

For me it honestly comes down to the price of the tickets. If its through the roof again and at that time. That will put a huge downer on a lot of the hype
Im kinda sick of fights ending at 1am, I’d much rather it end at 8pm. Do you know how hard it is to get new people to watch when they have to stay up past midnight just to watch a title fight?
What happened to Tom Aspinall. He looks like he has been training with Eddie Hall to win Strongman. Also, Stipe definitely wins against Jon Jones. Jon has wrestling. Stipe has the touch of death, and is one of the angriest, most bitter, most resentful, most spiteful, most hate filled fighters on Earth. Jon is a sociopath criminal. Stipe is a deeply unhappy firefighter seeking vengeance against the world.
UFC only cares about money, when they dont get enough then they cater to US, but when Dubai comes around and gives shit ton of money then they dont give a shit about anything else. Then they didnt talk say that "main fans are in US" We make time for them.
Im not even considering going to Manchester for this. How would that even work when I dont live in Manchester? Do I get a hotel - to get there at 7am and get kicked out at 11? Just drive back after the event - so that means i cant drink, and i'd be driving tired as fuck? I'm just staying home. Forget it. You clearly don't want me there. I also want to see actual stars and legends, not only local guys. Big swing and a miss for me.
I wanna travel up to Manchester from Southampton, first real opportunity ive had to go and watch the fights live and i have to deal with this shit? Bit unfair imo
Not to worry Dana, although I will be inconvenienced slightly by needlessly waking up early to watch a fight hosted in my own country…the deal is sweetened a little by the fact that I (and most of the UK population) will be watching the fight FREE of charge via an illegal stream.
The UFC rectifying their mistake would require forcing Jones to fight Aspinall at 303, changing the time earlier, Topuria VS Holloway, and giving me $69,000
I get that there’s critics to this because it’s not ideal for a lot of people, especially the fighters. Though honestly think it will give a BIT of a PPV boost. Fighters will earn more. It will bring more attention and money into British mma when presenting the prelims and main card on ESPN at 8pm-11pm USA time

I've said this over and over again. Had this fight been on at our time I would 1000% buy the event. But fuck them, and I'm downloading a torrent on Sunday morning and watching it for free
Im from South Africa and our time slot is similar to the UK's
Hear me out. Only McGregor, Chandler, Gaetjhe, Dustin, Olivera & Volk are worth staying up for.
I wont be staying up for a Belal and Edward main event. I'll catch the highlights the next day
I loved UK cards because they start at 3 in the afternoon here.
Everyone mad but Leon. Leon knows he sells more ppv if it’s at that time.
no. they havent... not until they strip Jon Jones or make him actually fight Aspinal... Jon Jones isnt the champ until he wins that fight. until then, we have two interim champs... and Aspinals claim to the title is arguable more valid
You sound like a typical European socialist. UFC is a business, not a charity. Non-US fans are too cheap. US fans are only 10% of the fanbase but comprise 90% of the revenue. Stop being a cheap European and be grateful you get any PPVs at all.
@@GengoSenmon what brain injury did you suffer to write this?
For me it honestly comes down to the price of the tickets. If its through the roof again and at that time. That will put a huge downer on a lot of the hype
Everyone calling belal boring while Leon is the same outside of the lucky Usman KO lol
Leon isn't the most exciting but hes better than the dude that dry humps to a decision
Crowd's going to be sleeping or fighting themselves 100%
Im kinda sick of fights ending at 1am, I’d much rather it end at 8pm. Do you know how hard it is to get new people to watch when they have to stay up past midnight just to watch a title fight?
I like beer and fist fights together i wouldnt go on principal
What happened to Tom Aspinall. He looks like he has been training with Eddie Hall to win Strongman. Also, Stipe definitely wins against Jon Jones. Jon has wrestling. Stipe has the touch of death, and is one of the angriest, most bitter, most resentful, most spiteful, most hate filled fighters on Earth. Jon is a sociopath criminal. Stipe is a deeply unhappy firefighter seeking vengeance against the world.
I thought that, Tom looks massive😂
I would love if all the main card came out holding pillows on the walk out. Obsurd times despite being an Aussie and it works perfectly for me.
Idk wht everyone crying, in Serbia we stay until 7am for every bigger card, only fight island cards start at some normal time ..
Not to worry Dana, although I will be inconvenienced slightly by needlessly waking up early to watch a fight hosted in my own country…the deal is sweetened a little by the fact that I (and most of the UK population) will be watching the fight FREE of charge via an illegal stream.
That start time is ridiculous
I also want the time to change. I’m tired of staying up so late I rather wake up early or mid day ppvs every now and then too.
Going to be just how Vettori was with Adesanya. No one gives a single shit
It will bring more attention and money into British mma when presenting the prelims and main card on ESPN at 8pm-11pm USA time
Yeah the thing is most of us US fans would be okay with watching earlier or catching it later recorded anyways so who even is this for?
Aspinall cant even headline over Belal 😂
Just subcribed as a member, been watching your content for years so i felt like i have to give something back.
Cheers MMAOP
As Dana ages he's starting to look like a bald Bob Arum.
England start times are so bad that they make us root for Saudi Arabia cards and shitty apex cards that start at 9 lmao
Bro the crowd is gonna be dead or just not there by the main event lmao. Couldn’t imagine sitting in an arena until 5-6am. UFC did y’all dirty, sad cuz they don’t do that shit anywhere else. Even worse for the fighters. Who wants to fist fight at 4am?
I'm always here for a Molly McCann scrap. She's a legend.
Don’t let him bully you Son.
